Well... Imagine a forest, versus a particular grove in that forest. I don't know the number precisely, but I know from the AURORA playtests that there are at least a few thousand beta testers. However, there are hundreds of thousands of live players. It's not impossible to find a grove with 10 or so trees in a forest... But compared to the whole friggin' forest, it's still only a tiny area.

when you do the turtle event solo, start with the branch that's facing the island. this way you will burn the whole thing by yourself with no issue

I get it, but you'll soon find that you'll behave differently with both the live and beta versions of the game. On my live account, I tried to get as many things as I could. With beta, I'm lazy lol. Still finding bugs, but I haven't even graced Eden even though it's something I've obviously done multiple times in live.

Beta is just to try things out and find bugs, so you don't need to worry about trying to get everything again. If you do need help with the realms, definitely hit up the #beta-looking-for-group channel and someone will help you out.

I personally try to take the differences from Live and Beta as an opportunity to have a little more fun since it’s all for testing— like not really caring about WL as much, which in the end helps to see if new areas are moth friendly Some testers like to dress their Skykids with different styles between Beta and Live too which I think is really sweet! While it can be frustrating if you’re starting out or when you think about possible wipes along the way, maybe looking at it that way can help you have fun with it

there are no guarantees in beta and things can get lost or removed when changes happen
but you can take beta at your own pace and you don't need to rush with reliving spirits memories and doing quests for past seasons, imho
just be patient

You start off as new, so no cutscenes are skippable and at first & you’ll need to relive all the base game spirits again if you want the emotes

Deep calling does not promote server merging; that's a myth! There's nothing you can do to encourage the chance of merging with other players so you just have to be patient & lucky

Since Beta is a completely different app, you’re gonna have to start from a new account. But you can use the same login information (such as linking to Google) as Live without issues since they’re separate
