the thing with anniversary is that I genuinely wanna like the event because I can see how much effort was put into the performances. but the hard-to-see cupcakes, the lights, the napkins, the "obligation" to watch 40 minutes of performances daily for almost 2 weeks?? not for me and probably not for most people

to me music also felt like the only event where I'd voluntarily stay in the area even after I'm done with collecting the tickets. to do the music challenge, use the instruments, maybe go to the private room or try out the sequencer. imo that's an engaging event, unlike an event that makes you sit there and do nothing to get tickets

I've heard from some friends that aren't even in beta but still know about how tickets are collected that they're probably just gonna try to get the jester hat and then dip. and the event wasn't even announced yet afaik

If you speak to Ktjn at the juice bar they tell you which shows give more tickets. They also tell you where tickets are hidden.

The event is still too time consuming, but the clues are nice.

Like, there’s a unusual way to Play “Sky” is that not to grab any wing from the very first time, so they keep playing the game in a status of having no wing, and they think its fun to play Sky in a mode with out having the wings for them to fly. Some people’s avatar even looks better with out the wings, its somehow quite like a “difficult mode”, wearing Aurora Wing is just looks like wearing no wing, sort of.

I wonder if this means surplus tickets we collected will be carried to next year days of color? I know the news mentioned that tickets wont be carried from one event to another, but in my understanding, it simply means that we cant use color tickets for music event or anniversary event.

it's just that im seeing lots of people in qnh get hit with the reality that they're one ticket short or that they just won't have enough. and that was for rainbow, which is much more straightforward when it comes to ticket collection than anniversary

It was possible to collect enough in 1 week of collecting tickets for doc. So tbf it's not so bad.... ig the problem is you can't buy tickets (only with ac and maybe people don't even know this)

Anniversary seems to be worse at first. But then you realize you can just teleport to office at ××:00-××:02, collect the cupcake and leave (same for the other performances). And all the cupcakes are in the same place unlike DoC bubbles

once people got their rainbow cape at the minimum amount, the oreo zone is DESERTED so it's much harder to get the middle big bubble to spawn

still very inconvenient for most players. with days of color it wasn't that bad but the main problem is that it wasnt a good way to introduce the new currency. the fact that the bubbles are difficult to see, there are different max numbers of bubbles depending on the day, and some bubbles (like the ones in forest brook) are impossible to know about imo if you aren't following sky on discord, they all led to the event being confusing

it still takes some work to hunt for bugs and break the game, as well as leave feedback, but that's what we sign up for - we don't have to 100% everything though, just interact with new content as much as you're able and let tgc know how you get on with it

yeye, the only grinding id see reasonable is for the invisicape but it's just an easter egg put in though so it's not the end of the world if you don't have it! wonder when that's coming to live by the way, "models aren't ready" isnt really an excuse (can't find a nicer way to put it sorry!!!) anymore because there's a lot of really small capes in the game that are practically invisible.. would prefer a set of really small capes instead, like recolorable scarfs and handkercheifs with the stars on your back instead

on another note, we are talking about beta, so bugtesting is a bigger focus, more then cosmetic collecting

look this is just FOMO trend and there's no way new players able to obtain all season's, TS, events solely with candles in a span of 2 weeks (unless they're rich rich enought to purchase candle packs)
the tickets currency been helpful to semi & veteran players in "burnt out" also tickets within one place (except weekend/ rainbow days)
so if you're focusing only on new players for the dislike over tickets as new currency, it is not that bad actually.

Well it's worth leaving feedback about it if you haven't already - I think even with the currency being rolled out in live it's not necessarily that's the end of the discussion cause they'll have had plenty live feedback to refine future events. I kinda get the point glow was making (I think). tickets aren't a ground-breaking solution to the currency problem. the problem has always been the ridiculous prices on event cosmetics that have somehow been increasing every year (175 candles for a cape is just unreasonable). with tickets being a thing, those previous cosmetics are still keeping their high prices, and cosmetics that are currently costing candles are gonna return as regular currency cosmetics.
it doesn't really fix the main issue that everyone had with currency and feels more like a band-aid to cover up the problem lol

Based on the pricing we've had so far with each event, I think events in general are gonna be a standard 100-150 tickets split across however many items we get each event, and since it'll depend on how long events will run for, we'll always get more than what we need, but collecting the tickets will differ and that's the thing that I'm most concerned about. We have plenty time and plenty tickets to get 100-150 across 2-3 weeks but if we have to sit around waiting then it's gonna get tedious (won't stop us being able to collect the tickets and it'll still be far easier than running for candles though)

Also note 100-150 is a guesstimate based on DoC being 104, DoMu being 145, and DoS being 100 iirc

My personal dislike for the Anniversary tickets is just the fact that you need to sit around for 30-40 minutes just to get four tickets, which is the only reason I haven’t actually stayed in the area that long, I don’t have that spare time and the crowd feature kills my phone pretty quickly too.
As much as I like watching the performances, I’d probably only watch them once since it’s not rewarding to me and I’d rather be at Geyser and Grandma’s during that time. I might leave feedback and see if they’d be willing to switch the performances to the hours that aren’t Grandma and Geyser.

I personally dislike the new UI of scrolling memory candles. Yeah sure it does look neat / cohesive when you’re surrounded by lotsa memory candles and just wanna check them BUT MID FLYING the UI STILL THERE. To make it worst , the ➡️ button right is directly over the open glide button

the closest I've ever been to them while being super happy because of the pretty eye shapes
don't take that away from me

I mean the elder masks felt kinda like maskless but with the eyes opens and as we know, all faceless masks have the eyes closed. So having the player unlock the mask after all the base constellations makes sense as the finally open their eyes or whatever, it’s hot to hall to figure out what it means haha

I got the forest elder mask in beta. And yes it looks amazing combined with other masks, but also very much not amazing that the glowing eyes are gone. Even tho I don’t like the bloom in live (I have the forest elder mask in live too), but I still feel that the eyes are half the mask’s appeal

Can someone can do dailies and quest 2...when i go for dailes..it shows that i taken pic..and complete the dailies but i can't get candles and when i refresh the game it shoes i haven't completed any four of them .. happened with me twice...and for quest 2 i clicked the bird pic 1 time but after that i can see the 3 marks while calling..but the bird isn't there...it is just not in whole area??where to goo

Because journey call is not independent call, i mean to use call you need to wear mask from the pack and choose basic child call
So if i change to chibi mask i sound again like moth and should switch call any time i change masks
And i see no ways for it to be changed even within wardrobe inventions we see now

i do wonder why the chibi size effect was always a mask tbh. If theres no particular reason, i think itd could be a good idea to put in the pants closet as an applicable effect in its own "size" category rather than have the effect be tied to a mask, since that closet now with the introduction of shoes as well as pants is becoming more of a "body" closet. could also open up opportunity for other applicable effects like max height/giant effects

No, the randomness still affects the chibi mask height.
Height in sky is based on two factors: scale and size.
So you can have two skids at the same size but because they have a different scale, one will be taller than the other.
It's still random in the end.

idk if itd make chibi pin or spells obsolete, at least with those you could use them if you dont have a closet to hand or if you dont have the chibi mask/effect, which is already close to the way it currently works out in live - aside from the ability to wear other masks with the chibi effect being limited to the spells/pins (iirc) - if people think an arbitrary restriction on the permanent chibi size is a needed thing for like, idk exclusivity for spells/pins? then sure that would be a negative. either way i personally believe both pins, spells as well as the mask are violations of "You can't choose your height in real life so the heights in sky is also random" since even if theres some deviation it still an effect that makes you noticeably short by choice so i dont really see how that quote can apply here. just my personal opinion tho might be wrong on some things

not to mention that said ability to wear chibi mask alongside other masks is already something yall are asking for anyway wouldnt hurt to make it not a mask at that rate
