I think mechanic suggestions vs entire season or cosmetics items is a little different. I'm sure with using people's actual designs it's a bit more difficult whereas mechanic suggestions could be from wishlist but also gives reasonable doubt that a dev could have thought of it by themselves and it's less blatant "using someone else's idea" than it would be for item designs.

Plus doesn't TOS cover that TGC can use wishlist ideas/art? Unless I'm remembering incorrectly.

I just wanna be clear with my statement above that I like tgc using fan ideas and think putting them into wishlist kinda means, y'know, that you wish they'd use it. What I was saying above is it seemed like someone was saying "well they should use seasons because it's easy and we drew it for them and they've uses mechanic ideas from wishlist" and I was trying to just say that I'm pretty sure using actual season ideas in wishlist and making the 3D cosmetic models and stuff is probably far more difficult in both technical aspects as well as probably contacting the artist and asking about it/ensuring they're okay with it.

I wasn't trying to imply that I thought tgc was stealing or anything.

My understanding of how TGC interprets wishlist is that the idea sits on the plate for months, if not years at a time until it's suitable for the story or theming a season/days event presents. And even then if a specific idea manages to line up with the project, it can still get shelved because there's just better designs that come up that overshadow it. Pretty common in creative processes where you ditch your first couple ideas for other ones or alter it as it develops.

But let's say the one thing that was close to the initial wishlist was approved. Even if the 2D concept art gets approved, the 3D model make could just totally not reflect the initial intent of the 2D iteration design so it's back to the drawing board to continue on iterating that. And this is on top of making sure the item is in line with the style guide the artists/designers are following to make sure it suits the sky vibes.
Throw that together with production deadlines and decisions need to be made so weaker ideas get thrown out.

I think also like, take a step back sometimes and consider how many small subcommunities of sky exists out there, and that two people can have the same idea at a time. Maybe you as an individual came up with something you're not comfortable with being used, but someone else with that exact same idea put it in the wishlist + many others -> it just ends up in the game at some point.

Example:

• An underwater season has been asked for since the dawn of time. I imagine most people wanted something colourful like the great barrier reef or something atlantis based but instead we got abyss which isn't super colourful but is fun in exploration and storytelling.
• Shattering I think echoes some aspects of wishes from ages ago in some areas where people wanted the sanctuary manta ult cape to return/krill based cosmetics have been LONG asked for.

Those are some things I've seen asked in wishlist and they did finally actually show up in a season, different from what people imagined but still conveying the basic idea that was wished for because it finally suited a storytelling element that worked with Sky's story

When I first play sky (2020), there was a bug in isle, while flying on cloud tunnel to butterfly hill a Colorful rainbow trail show up. And i immediately wrote in wishlist about this bug trail, hoping it would be a feature someday. Surprisingly, when rainbow event come, we have the colorful trail.
Many people have been asking for night mode in all maps, and the ultimate from this season could darken the area (not exactly night mode but close). :3 it's lovely when some ideas from wishlist come true

The devs have talked about how far they plan things in advance, I don't know if currently they're still 2 years ahead, but they've mentioned before that they had 2 years in advance planned so I imagine they're still working ahead of what we see in here, behind the scenes always looks different and has more development changes than what we even see coming through beta - hence the concept art we end up witnessing later. Game dev is fast paced but they still need to have some sorta schedule for events/seasons to run on even if things change frequently behind the scenes.

If you can meet them in person, and your constellation is rather full, try adding them to your favourites or having them send you some light and restart the game. There's only a limited amount of spots in the constellation, both should put your friend on the constellation if that's possible.

65 - family guy pose AND meteorite bonk. the best combo yet, can't complain
66 - bloom decor on forest gate... but with extra pink particles coming down. exciting.
67 - technically the rhythm intro, but there's no cutscene and literally the only spirit to show up is the malnourished blowkiss. all they do is stand in the forest portal and spam season's intro message at you.
75 - sneezing carpenter vibing
78 - you get transported to the forest lobby for literally no reason
80 - scarecrow vibing

99 does nothing
and so does the 100 at windpaths
not touching that one with a wooden pole cause alaike wanted to do it instead, godspeed

the aurora wings will work in the same way they do now: once you are at the valley stadium, you can teleport to the night coliseum. think of them as the medi spots you see at the normal coli currently.
the night coli will not be changed in any way, and concerts will follow the same schedule. the only difference is that the only people around will be either those who bought the wings prior, or the ones who were holding hands with the wing owners at the time of activating the teleport function. not a big crowd for sure, but probably more than zero

tl;dr - night coli will remain unchanged, but all ways to access it will be cut off except for the iap wings

Really up to personal tastes. I've seen some say if you dislike darker cosmetics then it's not worth it, those who love darker earth tone cosmetics then yes. Heck, I've seen some people say they dislike the season but the sole thing that makes the pass worth it to them is the final ult.

I only really want the ults and it's not even a strong desire for them. Beforehand I would have said I super wanted the pants and the jacket cape, but the color changes make me not really care for them at all. I liked their first iterations best (color-wise).

Also, I honestly like the manta lantern ult, don't get me wrong, but can't see myself carrying it over my guitars or the rose ult. I can't speak for the person who said it was lacking, I just don't like the cosmetics all that much. it’s been pretty good so far imo, although there’s been mixed reactions to some of the cosmetics especially the warrior pants and the veteran cape after they got changed to a dark green colour. also there’s a lighting bug which messes up the colours of cosmetics and makes them all yellowish because your skykids light is a bit too bright. ah and map shrine bugs are back stronger than ever

They're not broken, disabled for the time being as there are no concerts scheduled for beta, I don't think they ever implied it will be reenabled later aside from a "maybe", so I wouldn't be expecting it

Playing live for 3yrs is long enough to know what’s worthy of debate and isn’t. Also everything hits the fan for beta so missing sc is really the least of issues.

Fly up from the area outside. It’s less buggy and you can charge along the way using fire pots. For some reason flying up from outside is less buggy.
