If you already bought the white fireworks staff from the store, you can't get it again. People who got the one that was in the store during the first run of days of love can't get the new version that was released. It won't show in the store.

There were two items in the store for days of love and if you got it when the icon showed WIP then you can't get the new one.

If you never got it before and it isn't showing in the in game shop then report it as a bug.

I've never had such experience in beta: I have hundreds of seasonal candles and I have no motivation to unlock seasonal spirits. (old worn green cosmetics). I miss the positive vibe and vibrance of colors regardless season theme. I think colorful spirits can mourn and be sad as well.

Sky is already very colorful, most seasons are colorful, sky is so bright it's blinding
It's good to have some darker seasons. Even if it's not your taste. Having some darker cosmetics also adds ✨ variety✨ to the games and more dressing possibilities out of the colorful and cheerful vibe Sky has all over the place. Not everyone likes colorful things, let TGC please us, people with dark souls. Kidding... Maybe not

I agree with variety but with amount of darker seasos I can less agree: Assembly, Season of the Little Prince, Shattering are all offering dark or very dull items which I don't see as many times amongst friends constellation and those items can't have much color variety because dull is ... dull.
All in all, I see less dull items on Skykids from a season after its hype ended. And I still believe colorful could be dark soul themed as well, several games and artists can make them vibrant yet dark.

However regardless my own opinion I'm glad this season will be successful and digful for some in terms of cosmetics

As I previously stated, people might like it. I personally like the "dull" cosmetics, as you call them. And again, not every cosmetic will please everyone. These cosmetics are not your style and maybe not as many people will use them, but there are people who like and use them. And giving them less options just for the sake of "pretty and colorful" is simply not fair.

Let TGC add more variety into the game. What is dull for you might be other person's dream cosmetic that they'll use everyday (until they like something else better lmao)

Is it not advisable to buy new items on day one on beta?

Most of the time, it's safe to get them, though from time to time there is one where it doesn't get you the item. Sometimes it's just throwing candles away, sometimes it blocks you from getting the item completely. The ø symbol, for example, is a fairly sure sign that something is off and you should proceed with caution. WIP in a circle is mostly safe, though anything can get removed at any time by TGC (and there's always the exception of something just going wrong randomly with no sign before).
TGC asks that we test items as soon as possible, if they don't get enough feedback due to broken buying options they'll find a way to release the item to beta testers. However, in general one can't expect that to happen (though "you can get it even if you were previously locked out" things have happened in the past and most likely will happen again, just not always).

at first i didn’t like the direction this season’s cosmetics and area were going but the entire thing has grown on me… the green warrior pants and veteran cape are so cool and i’m never gonna shut up about them… the scarf ult is quite simple but it can add a lot to an outfit and it’s a pretty fresh idea… and the projector. my god the projector. For me, I really love the scarf. It reminds me of a “talas” which is the Hebrew word for “prayer shawl” Not that’s what this particular ult. is, but it has that similar concept. The colors are very simple and fresh. But, I do think if TGC adds some season of enchantment elements to the scarf it will become more promising.

The point of this season is where the past “reconnects” with the present. By exploring moments in time where someone experiences a tragedy. For instance, where the Tea Brewer makes tea for a loved one who has fallen ill. That loved one ends up passing away despite the Tea Brewer’s efforts to heal that loved one. Or, where the Pleading Child’s parent gets arrested without explanation and they are left alone with no one despite their pleas to know the warrant for the arrest. I believe this season is meant to be tragic according to the examples I gave. This indicates the ongoing theme(s) of grief, loss, and or tragedy.

To add, I also believe the cosmetics could have just a bit more fine tuning. We can make or showcase our edits in their respective channels. And, we can also send feedback in #beta-feedback once it is fixed.

It would be the cutest freaking thing if for their quest, you followed clues that eventually led you to the mom. Then you bring her back to the seasonal area with you. With the way spirits have been getting more active, maybe he could lead her like we lead a friend and point at stuff around the seasonal area looking really cute and excited. And whenever they pass, the other spirits do various “awwww!” emotes

I think it's the "sit at a map shrine a few times, then go to wind paths, and then go home" one that triggers old content to happen. Not entirely sure though. A while ago, it used to fill home with little candles where you had one for each friend, and three more homeshrine statues that could hold invitations. At another time it let you rewatch seasonal cutscenes from previous seasons.
(Careful if you haven't finished the season yet!! Might trigger the candle conversion!)

Well, I recreated what they said they did..... but didn't trigger, so might be part of the "fix" that was introduced. (apologies for text wall ^^; )

Step 1: Kneel at wind paths shrine once (it was their first time with that shrine, so that might have played a factor. I had not unlocked this shrine prior to this test, so same progression)
Step 2: Hop in the wind path for a few rounds of wax collection and high speed music playing
Step 3: Go home via emote menu (they hadn't known at the time that you could also go home via the settings menu)

And this is where I was unable to continue replicating their steps. At this point, this is just their recollection

Step 4: A text will appear at the bottom of the screen in home about unlocking a spirits rewards, and player/camera movement will be impossible (unless you have a prop you can place to push yourself around). Call a friend you have unlocked warp with to join your server, and deep call to get the prompt to warp to them.
Step 5: Have them lead you into another realm and go on a candle run adventure.
Step 6: Go home via emote menu. If done correctly, you'll get the candle/heart conversion message, followed promptly by said candles/hearts converting.

Again, I wasn't able to fully replicate (though that won't stop me from attempting multiple times). But so far looking like this is fixed in beta. That or there are some missing steps they didn't tell me about ^^;

unless they've interacted with a shrine on a completely fresh restart, sounds like the normal wind path bug outcome.
any visit to the forest in a single session makes you susceptible to the bug. skykid freezing in place once you enter the home space is a tell-tale sign the bug worked too, and the later steps most likely did nothing to affect the outcome

They said they had another friend get stuck in home as well, but they didn't get the reset. Apparantly they got frustrated and restarted their game instead of warping to a friend to get dragged to another realm... So not entirely sure about that

the numbers are different between builds, so a safe number in beta can wreck your live skykid.
it's best to edit the numbers out of your live post and not to encourage the use of the bug publicly.
if you encounter a conversion glitch - don't send it to the public bug reports, but use #contact-the-mods or dm zahlya about it so no information hazard is shared

here’s a simple explanation i made earlier, i think that to do the belonging glitch you have to sit at the home map shrine seven times but i’ll have to check
this glitch can also trigger numerous other things to happen, like post-season candle conversion, sending you to the pity room etc depending on how many times you sit at the shrine

All traveling spirits are random, except some rare cases. Yeti will be back in beta in a few weeks since we’re behind live in ts schedule. Other than that, beta testers don’t know about future dates of events or ts.

The days of Feast will be back next year with all of the cosmetics. Not sure if Yeti at home will be back in that same spot, but he might be in the office next year.

Let me clarify then. I didn't mean the wasteland spirits are yellow-green. The actual environment is. It's mainly that ugly green color. And having these new spirits be a similar color scheme shows they are outsiders in vault. Which is mainly these dark blues and purples. They don't fit in, and have been forced out of their homes, by war or whatever crisis was happening.
Also yes the light bug sucks, but personally if the bug gets fixed, and as Crowe said earlier, the pants tweaked, I think it will work.

I actually like the new colors more than the deep blue. They feel more earthy to me and more in tune with representing the repressed spirit population in Sky. The blues were inconsistent to me and I didn't like how they looked in the dark. I think the green is easier to match across several outfits from the season as well.

I'm gonna bring this up again for sake of argument but
The European-esque clothing style is not unique to the concepts alone and are used in a majority of games and other media. It is not exclusive to the individual designs here.

But it is valid that the artist feels rightfully upset that too many elements overlapped between their ideas and this season.

These two ideas can coexist.

That's the thing. There's people that willingly submit concepts in the wishlist and ideas channel. This artist specifically. Didn't. Meaning, if this was stolen or not, they never gave permission of any kind
