yes, outside of feast the closet space light stays standard (that's why I use it as my reference location) - now however even the closet space is mist-y and hazy like the feast space on the roof

a lot of spaces in live rn have also changed drastically because of the lighting update (I noticed today entering the stomp lid for sunny clearing, it's much brighter than it used to be)

I saw a discussion in screenshots about yeti cape interior and I just wanted to share my own opinion too, but I didn't wanna clog screenshot channel.

I think the interior looks pretty neat, at first I wasn't a fan but it's kinda grown on me. I don't think it'll only go with yeti pants, I think it'll also go with similar red/yellow colours, but also it goes really good with the teal pants, so I'm thinking it'll probably also go nice with the green pants too potentially. The colours of the interior are pretty earthy so I think that's what works with other earth colours like red, green, yellow, brown, etc. and I'm excited for it in live

In my opinion, I would make the bug report regardless. But I hope you're able to get enough I formation from others who currently have access to the prop

For me, it depends on how close to it I stand. If I stand at the very edge of the area that has the button, it almost doesn't push me, while when I'm really close to the cat it throws me away extremely far.

A dev came in to address feedback that the cat prop lacked an element of surprise and asked for suggestions/thoughts on the matter, and the consensus then was to introduce a randomised throw strength element to make it more interesting to interact with than the same distance thrown each time.

I feel like there are definitely 2 types of people some people who are going nuts due to solo play mode we've been forced into and others who really enjoy it.

I am really enjoying playing music wherever I want and not worrying about having to open doors if I merge with someone (like in vault, I love the acoustics and the atmosphere but so many times it is it filled with honking for people who need doors open), and I also love how fast a Cr would be if we didn't have to wait for others to open doors. Unfortunately since we can't pick up and get candles for our crs, I can't really test how much quicker it is for a solo player when all doors are just open by default. Its very neat though. Relaxing for me because no pressure. I could see how some people are lonely though.

So I definitely think if this, on the off chance is ever implemented, gets in live game it should be a toggle option, but alas it's just a bug 🐛

the only reason i like the solo play is cause harmony hall isn't constantly filled with a bunch of people playing entirely different songs at once causing it to be almost impossible to play your own song

I really will never understand why they didn't allow us to play instruments we don't have in the private room for harmony hall. If it's because they're worried people won't buy the iap instruments or something then impose like a time limit or something on using instruments you don't own

But yeah i can see what you’re saying considering we want to play an instrument that we didn’t have in that private room rather than outside it with all the commotions

I think the issue with the solo play rn is that we have the added bonus of broken candle collection and solo isn't toggleable, if it was an optional mode that we could still play the game normally just in a solo server people would find it less agonising, but since we can't even do meaningful candle runs or quests it seems pretty pointless to spend extensive amounts of time on beta and would probably feel just as pointless in live after a couple of days of the novelty wearing off which is what we're seeing

However, we may be pros at playing aurora music sheets if we set our mind's to it

Also I think the thing about being able to play instruments we don't own in the practice room would be an incentive for some to buy those instruments when they're available via IAP or a TS bringing them but for others they might just not bother buying them if they can just play them in there and maybe tgc don't wanna make them available in the practice room for that reason?

cosmetic iaps should be no more then 5 dollars. mask and necklace? 99 cents. hair? 3 dollars. cape? 5 dollars. fun prop? 6 dollars. useful prop? 10. charity items? less then 21 dollars. (the prices are mixed if its a pack)

more items + less cash is better then less items + more cash. also, this applies to existing items aswell

how to compensate? give a lot of candles/season candles and hearts/ascended candles, and let the player choose. aka, 2x the item's price in candle shop candles, then rounded to the highest number so its even. ex. if the 15 candle pack was 16 candles, you'd times it by 2 (32), then round it to the highest number it can go to (40). if it's close to a multiple of 50, change it to that 50. so, our parenthesed' number goes from 32 to 50.

this can obviously stop at the rounding part, but i still get my point across.

also this does not apply to season passes, candle packs, or previous season iaps including rhythm and gratitudes

more people would be inclined to buy 5 items each for 5 dollars each than buy 3 items for 8 dollars each or buy a pack of items for 20

yo, I just got here, what's with a sudden iap convo?
the 10-20$ cosmetics are the industry standard, especially within the f2p mobile games genre
but unlike many other mmos in the same sphere, sky really doesn't use any predatory financial practices, aside from an occasional fomo. no lootboxes, no subscriptions, no ads, no p2w systems in place. all of the purchases are either purely cosmetical, or give you no gameplay advantage. what you're wearing or what table you're using doesn't make a difference when making friends and memories.
it's completely fine to play sky for the cool cosmetic options and character customization, but it's purely player's choice and not the point of the game.
as harsh as it may sound, you don't need the cat pack to have fun.

How come beta testers get things for free? it is because they only get some things from seasons?

in app purchase items are free for beta testers because beta is not a substitution of live, it is purely a development build of the game. testers need free items in beta in order to test them and send in feedback. beta accounts can get totally wiped at any moment too, so it's very unfair if you pay for an item that may get taken away. we have to pay for these items in the live version like any other player.
we still have to buy items being sold for in game currency with candles and hearts.

Plus it'd be unfair to pay for stuff twice, especially with one version being buggy, and sometimes we can't even have access to these items.

Please read #beta-faq : beta is often unplayable. If you caps lock and try to say the same other words that won't help you but you can play the live version of the game if you wish a more smooth experience. Many testers fully play beta as well with everything and they wait patiently and accept the nature of beta. If you think lighting friends, daily quests and collecting candles is "everything" (as you said nothing works), it's a good sign to step back from beta and play in live

cuz it's just softer sounding but still just as good

i assume there is supposed to be a stand there, just like all the other IAPs
