Yet still.... I find it useful. That way we actually know where to look for these shrines. As a beta exclusive feature would make it 100% times better. That way, we can find them more easily without wasting too much time wondering if they are there at all. And if they are... Hmmm where? With the slightly inconvenient forced zoom it's straight "there it is, just test it". And that simplifies things a lot.

If it won't come into live I think they will add some kind of instruction like "find the hidden shrines to reveal the path" or something.

Now I'm curious, what do y'all think about this?

It’s good that they added butterflies to dark plants so that we get recharged, but sometimes that messes my routine up. Usually when i fly in a certain pattern, the krills won’t notice me, but bcoz i got lifted up by butterflies, even i flew in the same way i got krilled

Adding recharge and pushing into air are two different set of codes.
Many times single butterflies can recharge you without pushing you up. ☝️

Hi beta fam, been a while Still, am I the only one worried about the fact that the main seasonal rewards are expressions that eat up a ton of hearts? Imo newbies will find it very hard to farm enough hearts for all these expressions (already sent to btw).

As Toast told in beta chat, emotes will stay after season same way as regular constellation emotes, so no problem.

Still they may be unable to finish the season’s quest in time. And since it’s a collab season, a lot of things may change about the quests. So new players may not be able to experience the quests until after the season is over even if they joined during the season because of the hearts required to open the new quests

After the first emote the emote tree upgrades are a totally separate branch so upgrades are just a plus, not on the way of quests at all

Yeah I'm still curious as to how the quests will look and sound like after the collab. For the audio to stay the same, the rights to the songs will have to be TGC's otherwise those quests will sound and feel very different than they would while the season is active.

Edit: would be hilarious to see "here's a new season but once it's over, you'll play it a bit differently. But hey go at it at your own pace, those who earned everything on time can tell you what it felt like" rofl

They should have, unlike TLP, the audio for SOA are original recordings by a named artist. The very voice used is her voice, if the rights to the audio and the royalties for the performances aren't hashed out, players will see 2 different sets of quests with different audio lmao.

Then again Aurora's singing has always been a part of Sky, her beautiful song in the credits has been there for a long long time so I'm not really that worried that the songs will be removed, maybe they will be turned into instrumental versions or something of the like but in general I'm pretty hopeful that the quests will stay :)

The cat doesn’t come with any additional candles or anything its just a prop

(I would not say its cheap considering you can get a whole adventure pass for 9.99 )

I sent this idea as feedback. Even suggesting it be based on level friendship unlock. I think the issue is that it would have to be coded to localize the windwall and there’s nothing like that in the game currently.

I also suggested leveraging the pat emote instead and make the yeet randomized with a low chance of occurrence. I was told my feedback was forwarded to the dev team but that engineer resources would be the issue in implementation.

I was doing 3ed season quest when a stranger tried to yeet me by placing the cat in front of us when we were in the middle of the quest and another same occasion happened at home when im checking ult tree and a stranger placed it literally on aurora guide.

I'm assuming it's all to get me missclick it.
it would be still unpleasant for friends to yeet friends without their knowledge, it's not really design to tease others it's for u alone to have fun with, and ofc sometimes with friends and strangers.
not to mention it literally yeet u across the map i hardly imagine anyone wanting that without actually wanting it, which the icon make sure of it, no unwanted yeet.

If you're having issues updating:
Both platforms: make sure you have at least 5Gb of storage free.
iOS - reboot device. This should clear TestFlight app cache. Once your device is booted up, try again.
Android - long press the Play Store, tap app info (or the circle with an i in it), tap storage and cache, clear storage, reboot your device. Wait about 5 minutes after your device fully boots up. Try again.

I'm one of those players who doesn't really care abt cosmetics or music. I care about going OOBs. And lately everything that explorers do to explore are getting nuked! Idk why, but i felt robbed of the fun i could enjoy in the game.
Yk, i bought some of IAPs bcz it actually helped me with OOBing. But now i couldn't even rocket or place my prop mid air. What a waste of money. Sorry for the rant. But i had enough, explorers are the most neglected community of Sky.
I hope you'd give clarification soon if this prop problem is a bug or intended fix for the game

My about map shrines: Even as active on discord I don't understand map shrines. They leave me puzzled. Are they showing quests? Or just a fancy thing to look at? Some guide for them would be great in-game and can't wait to see the actually very useful and have been waited for long new customizable emote menu which was mentioned as postponed in the Abyss Livestream

it shows wing light and unobtained base game spirits, but i guess generally its something pretty to look at, its also something to "unlock" but it does help visualize how the sky kingdom is built like so it also does have a place in lore

Right. And if someone happens to lose wing lights and has no idea where they might reappear, one can simply take a look at the map and a specifc area in the map will indicate that there is/are still winged lights to be collected.

This has been me while using the shrines. Super helpful after losing wings to shards or krills. I don’t feel so stressed about trying to relocate just a few of my wings. I do find that I have to leave the area where I lost my wings bc the shrine in that area won’t update/refresh until I’ve reloaded in or moved to a different area. That’s not an issue for me tho, just something I noticed.

I think sky beta can be defined as public cause everyone can be a tester just need catch the invite when they are available, it no need any requirement or there are no restrictions about it.
Like i can say for example the Genshin impact's beta that need a lot of requirements for enter is basically sign a contract with the company and if people will break it they ll' have legal problems.
As the freedom of the testers we are pretty much free to express ourselves about our felling and some share pictures too about beta contents.
This is kinda good and bad, cause it can cause misunderstanding especially cause game changer a lot every updates till it hit live version, also remember only the company know about the specific of the behind the scenes , and some people totally no talk about some yt**cough can give a lot of bad/incorrect informations.

Beta farming is equally significant to Live farming. Candles and other types of currency are required to test a wider range of stuff.
The new elder masks are one instance. To be able to provide different approaches of feedback to TGC, and/or submit any undesirable activity from them, ascended candles is the main currency required, which you need to work extremely hard for.

Whereas the developers have advised us to play Beta as you do Live, the rule to always give Live priority still stands (I’m aware of that & the implications). Still, playing as usual can help in the finding of anomalies throughout the game, such as the issue that caused clams and flowers to vanish that was eventually fixed—contrary to popular belief, beta is not just for bug hunting .

Above all, #beta-faq offers a list of ways you can help testing, including:
🔹Collect light from candles in various levels
🔹Burn Darkness (plants) in various levels

That being said, the info you referred to is not confirmed in any way since we don't have such items in beta (might just as well be fan made, mistaken for leaks, which are also not allowed to be discussed in this server), and since currently we can get ~1140AC per year provided one attends all red shard events and gets max AC from Eden every single week, the prices would be very much unreasonable. There is nothing to panic about as of now. Let's wait and see what TGC has in store for us. Also, I would recommend deleting/editing out the unconfirmed info from your message so that we don't spread rumours any further than they already have been spread ^^

Since the invites started happening so rarely nowadays, getting a wave of beta moths is becoming an exciting event when the beta community livens up to welcome them. I kinda like that. Everyone is becoming so kind and helpful. Just overall wholesome experience. Beta invites are not just exciting for the new beta player, it’s also great for the vets

Basically, regardless of anything that might be visible in a beta build, "don't know yet" is always the correct answer for what season items require a season pass to unlock—even once public testing is done for the first half the season, we may need to adjust item placement before the official, final version goes live.

Guys I hope you're all well. Can someone help me because I honestly don't know what to do anymore to fix this. I'm a beta tester and just be clear I contacted the beta team already for help over 3 weeks ago but recieved nothing back.

Basically I'm a bets tester and since before the season of Aurora came out in beta I haven't been able to update my beta app. It just doesn't let me do it. I have space on my phone. I'm an android user of a fairly new Samsung phone. I frequently used the beta app before this and I have lots of space on phone too to download.

I messaged sky beta team through discord, but received no reply. Sent again a couple weeks ago and again nothing. I also went to the support option on sky live app but that team said to come here to get help from sky beta at discord.

Was I banned or something? I don't violate any rules. But it's sad to watch the season of Aurora pass by when I used to enjoy being a beta tester. I just want some kind of answer from someone rather than being ignored. Even if I have been banned at least it gives me some kind of clarity. I just don't understand why I can't get any help for my issue. 😦 Please help TGC community. 🙏

When you say you have free space available, please be sure to have at minimum 5 Gb free space. If you have that much free, then try clearing play store data and reboot your phone and wait a few minutes for your device to settle before trying again.

Ah id like the cat cape more if we had some actual black pants to wear with it that matched. A full dark pant set... Fire prophet is too light, jelly whisperer cream top throws it off, and stagehand is a tunic/dress.... I want a full black outfit that are pants... This was the same conundrum I had with the krill cape. No pants really suited the deep black..

I've asked for full black pants before in feedback. I don't think we'll get them this update since it would take too long.

That's what I said in the feedback channels until my face went blue I was DESPERATELY begging for dark pants since I noticed we didn't really have any that didn't stay dark in broad daylight (undertones changing the colors like how jelly gets kind of brown etc).

I genuinely believed it would be the best season to have given us those too. I just knew if we didn't get a dark pant set then the krill cape would just gather dust bc even stagehands pant set has kind of deep blue undertones, but they're the darkest we got. Just dislike they aren't actually pants. And that's how it went. I got krill cape and wore it once and haven't worn it since the first day I unlocked it.

Sometimes I think that things like shrines should maybe have some moss covering them so they don't all look brand new and maybe blend in better with the areas, less jarring, but then I'm like imagine some of the current map shrines being more visibly challenging

I feel indifferent about both, if i want a dark colored fur cape i have the prince fur black cape and if i want to wear a scarf i have the performance or TLP scarf. I understand cosmetics like these are made for newer players that didn't get a chance to get these older items, but is there not a better way to do it? Plus aurora brings a scarf cape already & aurora and days of mischief come around the same time.

I dont mind more scarf capes if it was more spaced out but its back to back this time and performance wasnt even that long ago and there was also a scarf cape there.
Either way im happy some players will be able to enjoy this new cape. And it helps me save money so hehe

Guys do u thing tgc should do slower ? The game developes too fast since there are too many new skykid here.
Tgc need to make more designs of cosmetics but they do really bad, like 13 and 14 ultimate cape. Instead of that why they dont make old form of cape? After season of little prince, they tried make new form of design but we still like old form like bat cape, manta , white cape, belonging cape... but now, they make too much invisible cape like scarf, in upcoming season, if they dont make new cape like scarf, we will feel a bit disapointed. Instead of that, why they dont make new kind of pant or prop, it is so less, and give us a hope for next season.
And more. If they slow down the speed of change cape form, they will have more time tomake sever, account sercure better. And a gap time to make new challenge.

It's not about the attached its preferences. Some (including me) preferred the older version and some like the current one. People have different taste. I understand people.digging the current cause the want for scarf capes. As much I also want more scarf capes, but not when they are rushed or when there hasn't been put more thought into it. I feel the previous one was more intended direction but many yelled for a scarf version. I'm sorry but I'm not gonna settle for a rushed job, especially if it's IAP. Will spend my money elsewhere

Can't please everyone. I do dig the idea of a cat tail scarf but just liked the previous one better for the pack imo. Maybe a separate xcape for a tail cape. Idk it just feels they deleted the cape poly and left out the 'tail'. Feels like a rushed job and people shouldn't settle.for so less especially when it requires REAL life currency.

They are still working on the cape shapes. But I personally love the ults. I know lots of people aren’t happy with the fairy wings, I absolutely love them! Plus the blue ult pants are 👌👌👌

God I'm so in love with cat hair. Ik everyone's said it ad nauseam but I LOVE it sm. It's such a good hair and I'm so glad f2p players can get a good f2p hair for the event that can be masc presenting (I see cat hair as both masc and fem). I was playing guitar and just admiring the hair while doing so and wanted to gush. October can't come soon enough (if it is in October still)
