My main issue with shattering is the difficulty disparity between solo play and duo/multi play/co-op (carry specifically). It was a main issue I had when we beta tested the fire trial. Try Grandma's Shard solo vs having a friend on carry (you can try other shards, but that one with it's high difficulty setting and in a choke point in the terrain make it more difficult than other "hard" shards) or try the fire trial solo with it's bugged candles then try it with a friend on your back and tell me it's the same experience gameplay wise.

So after inspecting the map shrines, I have a theory. I think they're gonna work similar to the teleportation things in genshin, where you have to go to one to unlock a part of the map. It's possible they will show off different parts of the map for a realm (maybe spirit location, or wings too.) but idk

The difference in shape comes from it being the orange part of the butterfly cape, the yellow outline became invisible. (You can see if you look at both versions side by side)
My guess is that it's just an issue with the texturing, devs probably made some adjustments and accidentally messed up the butterfly cape lol
Though hopefully we get a cape that looks similar to the glitched butterfly cape, it's very cool looking.

After we completed the shard event in sunny forest map, the other player friended me and unlocked chat. After that I started getting server outage error messages. Every time I tried to type something the error message popped up. I relaunch the game and tp’d to a friend and tried to chat. There was a huge delay in messages. So I am not sure the server error message is related reporting players?

Well they do have to make money somehow, the game is a business and server upkeep is not cheap. It's pretty impressive that such a game as Sky has been able to get along without having annoying ads every 5 seconds while still being free to actually play it (as in, you don't have to pay $5 or whatever to even download the game in the first place). For me it's less about exploration and more just making existing elements more enjoyable, though there is a bit of the exploration factor where you have no idea where the shard is going to land and seeing that visually come down as you enter the area is super cool every time

Damage from the red crabs and red shards is much diminished and less lethal. I was hit many times by red crabs and flying shards and even crab-yeeted into a red shard a couple of times and only lost a couple of wing buffs each time.

Other players helping were also struck but no one went into “crawl mode”

you can still get these spells free during their respective event but they show up randomly throughout the year too. Ik a lot of people hoard these spells because they dont want to waste them and some people like these capes/props but cant afford to spend real money so a temporary spell version to be more available would be neat imo same should happen for crab trick and dark dragon repellant

move really carefully, make sure you lose nothing in the first area with 33 statues, the 2nd area, have a friend or ||use prop (hopefully devs dont see)|| to shield you while moving from lamp to lamp and lose no wings too. Then i move into the unavoidable 3rd area with no lamp but still able to get 2-3 statues before losing light and still have 100+ ish wings left, more than enough for you to reach the last statue with about 10-20 wings left

Missing one statue isnt a big deal anyway, as much as i would like to have the statue to be moved back a little, 0.25 is nothing, you basically only losing a whole AC per month , meh
