Also I love that second and third picture. That area is like one of my favorite oobs because of how beautiful the view was. It also made me really wonder how civilization looked back then before the Journey world became an abandoned desert.

Pixelated black dots in snow can be found when you go oob at the beginning of snow and head all the way south or west. At some point the snow will have black dots. This is how the effect looks on PS3, on PS4 the dots are a lot smaller but more to combat this

It pairs you randomly but you can manipulate it to connect with a friend (it's still luck based though)
Tip: you can connect with other people only in second level onwards. Don't waste time trying to connect with someone on the first level

Collect all of the runes that lengthen your scarf. You don't have to do it all in one run btw. You just need to find them all.

Basically I was a Journey player only when it was available for PS3/4

For example on PS4 and PC you can break the connection intentionally, get some blur effect oob once very far from the map and also a game crash on the south-east border of the map oob

Meanwhile on PS3 you can get out of some levels easier because of 30fps cap, have Shadowlands and slightly different oob effects wherever the sand is glitchy

And absolutely no game crashes

I do some amazing news for you, all you have to do is to go to the store on the PS3 and download journey from the Downloads section

You should see Journey trial and just "Journey" available in the downloads. You simply have to download those 2

Journey trial is for the game, "Journey" is for the activation to full game. PS3 is odd

I call the PS3 version the "Definitive Edition" since it was the original game brought by tgc and it's the most polished version, including visual, sound and connections department. I feel glad you'll get to experience it eventually

You can reveal glyths on walls too and revealing them all unlocks a trophy/achievement

Oh and you get a reward if you collect all the symbols (those that give scarf). You don't need them to get em all in a single run

But there is a trick to start a new journey with a white cloak:
Start a new journey and equip the white cloak. Then proceed to the next level so the game can make a save on this journey
Close the game, reopen it and start a new journey. You will have the white cloak

I heard Flower is not really made for mobile so I'd suggest Journey more for your ipad either way

Flower (and flOw as well) are mostly made to be played with Sixaxis (Sony's name for controller motion controls)

The only tip I can give is try to avoid them as well as possible, and be patient. Study their movement because in some areas they also have a movement pattern similar to krill. Once they see you, you can’t avoid them. They’ll just break through anything you hide behind

Honestly I'd say it's less toxic just for the fact that in Journey no one begs for juggler SkyLOL

#

As for playing hours, that depends on the user. Sky's main game (playing from start to finish) is bigger than Journey

#

However, in Journey you are encouraged to replay the game multiple times whereas in Sky you get periodic events and daily quests, not much of a reason to replay the story

well one being that its super pretty

#

but since theres no interaction between the companion you're with, honking and moving around can help build a friendship with that companion, even if theres no chat, and sometimes you end up sacrificing eachother for the other (guardians in UG and summit), and sometimes going out of bounds with the other if you're both white caped or the other is white cape and you're a red cape after finishing a journey

So why is it for IOS?

The game was outsourced to other studios for the PS4 and PC ports

I did not make research for who ported it to iOS but that's an old port

So there are chances of having a port for android

#

Personally I doubt since it's been way too long

But it was only ported on Epic 2 or 3 years ago and last year on Steam

Who made the iOS port?

Tricky Pixels made the PS4 port and I think Annapurna Interactive made the PC port

you can use the surrounding environment to hide and avoid getting seen. but once you are seen there’s nothing you can do about it unfortunately

If your scarf was already short enough, if they take all of it nothing will happen. Most of the time they'll be unable to take all of it as they stop attacking after a certain amount of attacks
