• the quickest way to get candles (at least for me) is to do a full chev vault and isle run (with trials) with a friend, spiral + rocket makes this a breeze
• geyser still works and is a good way to get candles quickly, however there is a cap
• geyser activates at reset and then the event happens every 2 hours after your reset time
• you can do the math to figure that one out since reset time is different for everyone!

I find gathering a lot of candles easiest if you plan. 175 is a nice concrete number, we know that the rainbow event will run until the 27th, se let's look at it as a goal for the 26th. I like to plan around a 15 candles/day routine, takes a bit under an hour to gather and the average balances out if you're a bit more or less productive on different days. when your chevrons disappear you have hit your goal for the day, doesn't matter where you gather really (big yield areas are fastest like valley and prairie). uber others and hitch rides to share the work with friends!

10 of those candles will go towards saving for the rainbow cape (or whatever big thing you're working towards), then we have 5 per day for whatever else (ts/gifts/friends). flexibility is also key, maybe your dream ts shows up right before days of rainbow ends? budgeting is also about choices, which item do you like more? which is more limited, will it return? projects are fun, and with planning you can usually find a way to get many of the things you want while still having fun and balancing sky with other stuff🏃
