each chevron level gives you ~5 candles. 3 chevrons collects those candles much faster than 0 chevrons. every day at reset, your "energy" is refreshed and you go back to 3 chevrons again.

Has anyone noticed the game is much smoother now, when it comes to animations?

For example, lighting everyone’s candles feels easier. Animations are cleaner when doing spirits, and when collecting wax, the candle starts to refill almost right away!

I think the chibi glitch to get under the door on the second floor was patched because people were glitching through instead of stopping to help players who were waiting there. there'd be a group of 3 and a chibi would go under anyways. The devs don't mind leaving in harmless glitches but when players use them to grief other players or to gain an unfair advantage, they will patch it out. Please consider helping your fellow players out there since more people will likely be waiting there with the extra candle cake now

Even though I used to exploit this glitch, I'm glad they patched it. I'm curious as to why they didn't patch the glitch that allows chibis access to the 4-player telekenesis door on the ground floor though? One of the great things about that door is that it enables you to gather 4 players up, so that you can all get on the elevator at the same time and have enough players to open the 4 player door on the next level.

I had a similar sound issue to- a bunch of sound effects stopped playing all of a sudden- honks, my footsteps and wing flaps, although others seemed to be. Closing the app and starting it again fixed it.

it seems to be ios for that. if I turn music off but leave sfx on, half the sfx cut out. I can't hear honks or krill cry or crab cry. but I can hear crabs bonking me and krill hit sound and birds calling and flap flap sound when you fly. my android has full sfx no matter what

The Assembly pendant doesn't really look right with either look. I can’t wait to see what other passive ways of farming they’re going to give us. Mostly because the chevron system is meant to be a way to discourage us from active farming (candle grinding), and to offset the loss from active farming, there’s passive farming.

Honestly with the weighted system you now get a ceiling cap on the total amount of candles that you are able to forge in a single days. That means instead of doing a full cr to drop by all available candles which would exceed the ceiling cap and not grant extra candles, just do what you do as per normal.

you get wax faster at first and gradually slows down as you run. it’s a way to help those who do partial candle runs get more wax and also to try and discourage grinding so much from people who do full runs. it’s gotten a mixed reaction so far

But I ask cause last season definitely burnt me out. I was doing daily runs and went from loving to hop on every day to wanting to avoid the slog 😭

The max candle amount seems to be around 19 candles, however it takes more time to do a full run to reach that amount

Personally, I believe it's great system to have more time to focus on what the season brings us, instead of using more time on doing candle rungs always the same again and again.

To avoid getting burned out, I'd recommend just doing a realm or two. You'll roughly get more candles than you would in the previous system, as far as I'm aware

No, the new candles were added to bring the total back to around where it was before. It didn't raise the max amount

Assembly stuff is still only in beta (other than the few new things added to Forest with the latest update). Any discussion of cosmetics, emotes, etc. needs to remain in beta channels. You can talk about the things that are seen in the teaser images that TGC has publicly released, but information about what is AP locked is considered spoilers right now, and also subject to change still as beta content is not finalized yet
