For newer players, I prefer if they made it more challenging to get the ult gift (like getting all ts from tht season before buying the iap)

I believe it is better to look forward for new seasons than look behind of what’s been here. I mean, we do have traveling spirits for that reason. It is just that ultimates are limited, and that’s how it works, but every new season will still bring new ones.

it's a heavily debated topic. they can't please everyone no matter what solution they come up with it does make me sad that some of the people not wanting them to return is for the sole purpose of "flexing" their ults. even as someone with one of the most highly coveted ults in the game. people with money often have the ults on day one of the season when it's active. I used to have a friend like that. Every single season she had the ult on day one. I'm curious what those of you who say it's "unfair" about working hard for it think of those people? and not to be negative but the daily quests are a lot faster and easier to complete than a full candle run. about 10 minutes a day with the ability to skip around 15-20 days and still complete the season completely for free (or for just $10 if you bought AP to get ults) so it's not particularly hard work anyways.

I think that the only people who really get that feeling of being in a season are only people who have the pendant and the ultimates. That's pretty exclusive to ap holders. It's still low priority as of right now, and I'm sure that tgc would bring it back in a way that makes it fair to everyone and if there were any issues, i think that beta testers would let it be known

I'd say the friend I used to have was more rich family situation. It doesn't really bother me that people pay for it even in rich family situations. everyone is in a different situation and it's lovely that sky does still have the ability to be completely free to play because of people like that who spend $110 on day one for the ults so it may seem annoying on a superficial level but they are benefitting free to play players

Cuz if both the ultimates AND pendants return, then what in the eden is getting an ap good for? What proof do you have left of being in that season then when/if the ultimates return?

I do think pendants should stay in previous seasons lol. You're completely right about there being no reason to get ap if you could just get everything for free at a later date. On the other hand if they do go that route, maybe it would be the satisfaction of completing everything sooner, and not having to wait months or years to get it (If they make it so that you have to get everything from ts)

I think one of the suggested ideas was that ults can't return for a minimum of a full year after the season ends so AP is paying for access now. also would be cheaper for AP items since like I mentioned: 10 minutes a day with the ability to skip around 15-20 days to get all the items vs TS being completely random, grinding full candle runs to even keep up with TS, and probably still having to pay full AP price or higher for just the ult.

It depends on the season, usually they last about 70 or so days, and you can probably get all non pass cosmetics if you get most candles from quests, but it will of course be more limited. Ap ones are usually kn the right side of the spirits tree

That's just for standard spirits persay, that's not where or how you get to view seasonal spirits. What you have to do is go to back to Homespace and in-between Forest and Valley's realm portal is the season constellation on the platform. Also, yes, you do need the pass for some of the items that are AP locked.

Maybe longer if they need it.
