Ok so Lightmending was such a filler season with any kind of potential wasted no story and copy pasted quests I don't think I even have time to waste talking about how I really didn't like nor enjoyed it

The regular crabs are strange then

They don't have claws their feet are under their bodies and their body is just a rock

Something new? The quests in Shattering were all just clearing shards and all. The same repetitive quests.

Both Shattering and Lightmending brought something new to the game. The Lightmending Daily Lanterns gave us a new way to CR, given that each day's map is randomised and the shard and wax locations are very random so it's a completely new experience every day.

Shattering in comparison, is very predictable so it gets old faster

If I'm honest, Shattering quests are just rinse and repeats to be frank

Don't forget that for Radiance we also do the same thing each quest, aka collecting butterflies

There's also another side to the story heavy quests, most of time, they're very enjoyable when you're still completing the quests. However once we finish the quests and the seasons have ended, we wouldn't have much reasons to revisit the season, unless the seasonal areas offer some gimmicks or activities to revisit.

Which is what the "story-less" seasons actually add to the gameplay; they help to keep the game relevant and offering players something to do

I just relived pleaful parent’s memory with a very awesome stranger and it was kinda hilarious

First time the krill spots us: they run to the side, I just let myself get krilled and I break my elder mask.
Second time: I no longer have my elder mask, but I have my held torch out so I just let the krill get me anyway and due to the memory and the torch I’m still lit so I just run around and get my winged lights back.
Third time: they use a krill repellant spell so I run away and no one gets hurt
Fourth and fifth times: they had another krill repellant spell so I ran away again, and no one got hurt

Easiest route is (at the beginning) climb up that steppe. Then once the Spirit is on ground level near that skeleton, DO NOT jump down! Carry Spirits are notorious for "gripping" walls and that will leave you vulnerable.

Instead, climb back down. Take cover in that open cylinder and go once you see no Krills coming or looking your way.

Next stop is straight forward. Go into the cave that has dark plants. Stay inside the deepest little corner to prevent getting spotted.

Then the spirit will go back to that arched tunnel beneath the skeleton.

Then here is where many players panic; Go outside the other way of the skeleton tunnel, putting to account Krills approaching. There is a high chance you might get spotted. Take advantage of the dark plant and a sunken boat to break off from Krill that detected you. Don't worry about being in dark water, that won't damage you or the Spirit so long as you stick together.

Arrive at the giant skull that looks like little caves and openings.

Then walk AAALL the way back (still keeping in mind Krill timings). Take advantage of the wall. If you got spotted and that open cylinder was nearby, the Krill attack will "cancel". And even if you got Krilled inside, your wings won't fly everywhere and you can save Pleaful in time.

For context in the pathway that scares alot of players, you pass by the dark plant tree and boat. I use those to reduce or break off from a Krill's stare.

And THIS as well is also arguably the scariest for many.

The "cylindar" I mentioned at the end? That's my safe spot if I got Krilled attacked. I jump in to "cancel" a Krill attack or in the very least not have wings fly everywhere. If you pick up your wings, you'll be lit up (alive) again. So just rush back to Pleaful if you had to drop him momentarily.
