Does anyone else feel like we really really need the ability to create friends-only instances, or otherwise have a way to not have total strangers solve puzzles / maps for us? This Season feels really good with the lightmending, but my friend raised a point:

She didn't have any sort of solo tutorial lantern level, and while trying to learn and genuinely getting engaged (my friend and I were letting her feel it out and not rushing the activity), others in our instances rapidly solved the lantern within a few minutes. It's great that Sky Kids can help each other, but sometimes it's frustrating to have a puzzle or gameplay problem solved for you, and she felt really... not great about the experience when she got the ending "Congratulations!" She said it felt hollow and I know how that can feel.

This Season is great, but it highlights the fact that there's no way to really control our actual game experience, and I feel like the first impression on my friend would have been much better if we could have our own instances where the activity can be completed at our pace, not everyone else's.

I agree I think specifically for the first quest there should be a solo tutorial only mode when you play it for the first time

Having a control of instances for all realms will lead to a problem: lack of people around to help one another since many would prefer to create their own instances for friends only, thus leaving moths barely anybody to get help from in this social game. I wouldn't want that to happen for the entire game. We barely have anyone willing to help with 4 player doors bc more players are becoming selfish nowadays

I just know that more than half people will opt for a friends only instance, no strangers around, thus making game feel more deserted for social moths

Or social people in general, tbh There are times where I wish we had the ability to just turn off server merges, but I can definitely see why it'd be problematic at the same time

Though there are places where server mergers are rare, such as office during off event hours (not many people have the cape), and trials

For the one part, what we can see today at the seasonal area (where the guide and table are) is that it goes up for quite a while.
Wonder if that area might hold other rooms or levels... or is just somewhere to fly up and find several armillary that have been placed there.

Yesterday I finally figured out how to find all of the Memory shards because I thought I meant to find the first few shards and I'm done. It was completed for me when I had gotten the first few shards the last two quests

If you didnt know: Yes you can again begin lightmending session after interacting wich table to lightmend daily lantern outside of seasonal quests (You can do it as many times as you want)

I know that i used word lightmend many times here but its kina Season Of Lightmending and repairing lanterns is called lightmending

the broken lantern area is randomized everyday, it'd be hard to keep track of it unless they can repeat

"Follow the beam" is when you're using the fragment finder.
Also, that's what I can intepret of the fractured lantern so far

The fragment gathering daily really challenging because on the second and last phase, there's no guiding stars

you do get like 3-4 candles depending on how many you find in the fractured lantern area but you can also stay to find the wax you missed as well

I just love so far that the fractured lanterns are kind of a Prophecy Trial without the skilled parkour requirements. Some people do Trials every day. I am happy in the Lantern even if I am clumsy or slow. That's a big win for me personally.

• Pioneer's moment location is right outside the Fractured lantern room at vault ground level.
• Champion's is at vault summit or vault temple.
• Lightcatcher's is at level 4, where the vault rainbow is at when it's a daily quest.
• Scholar's is at level 3, where polite stance spirit is.

Okay. I have a question about the season.

Everytime I mend a memory lantern, every body is excited. They're all like, "WELL DONE CHILD!"
In fact, even the memories themselves seem to realize they are fixed. I say this based on their reaction after you take the "DRINK ME" potion from Alice and Wonderland to shrink and regrow.

The repaired spirit looks at their hands in SHOCK. Like they're realizing they are repaired.

But does this mean that the projections from the lanterns ARE FULLY CONSCIOUS?!? Is this a black mirror episode?!?

I did have a long thought that since we as Sky Kids do so many favors for Spirits, and they thank us, a memory of them thanking us replays. Like someone watching a video with a "thank you" moment that was meant to speak to the receiver.

there's a difference between the Seasonal quests and the daily quests (yeah it's confusing I know )
The daily quests is mending the lantern of a spirit, you get a different spirit every day
The seasonal quests are discovering a new device, helping the spirit clean it up (burn the darkness away) and use it, then you've completed it already, you don't necessarily have to complete the lantern iirc

Seeing as how the ults will never return, I'd advise you to get them all if you comfortably can. I've had many cosmetics I was unsure of until I found the one fit they're perfect for weeks or even months later

So far, we have 2 devices:

1. The Fragment Finder (Quest 1)
   It guides you to locate the nearest fragment. But it only has one device in the lantern; You have to fly back and forth to light the device again (Since it was single-use); The guiding beam is so thin and pass through solid objects, so sometimes you can lose track (especially if the lantern structure is complicated)

2. Light Launcher (Quest 2)
   It helps you launch to the higher areas since we got limited wings upon joining the lantern, and you forgot to bring a charger (although you can find several ways in there), and it has several launchers around. But, sometimes, if you land on the device and you walk away (bcs you didn't intend to use it), you still get launched anyway. Also, if you didn't get used to it, you'll get launched and hit the object above

There are a couple things you could be referencing: the seasonal quests are released throughout the season. We had 2 back to back but from now on it’s roughly every week.
Then, lightmending a lantern is a new permanent activity, and like others (the music sheet, trials), you can only get the wax from it once a day

I love the airy sound OG flute didn't really have. You can sometimes hear your Sky Kid taking breaths between longer notes too. And can sound Middle Eastern on low notes or like a piccolo (?) on higher notes.

also the candle button do not appear while racing, you need to light them up before race, or find the light up button in the emote menu

Don't stop answering, it is a free candle each time, no harm in that. The few two days I would go and look at the types around the pond to research the answer, now I just guess, I don't care if I am right or wrong, I just collect my candle the next day.

For anyone willing to enlighten me, as a fairly new player, how do you get seasonal candles so fast? I know of the daily quests and have found a few candles in the wild, but that's about it.

You can get 5 per day without the season pass and 6 per day with the pass. The pass also gives 30 SC upon purchase

If you do quests daily they will stack up eventually, 5 per day
But if you buy season pass, you get additional 30 candles. Also you get one additional daily candle

You get the 4 from daily quests, then 0.25 from each of the four candles in the realms that you find. If you buy the season pass you get 30 free, and one extra a day. Also you can buy ythem from the webstore.

What are the friendship points requirements for each tier of the seasonal spirits?

Is it exponential?

Lvl 1 = 40 pts
Lvl 2 = 60 pts
Lvl 3 = 80 pts
Lvl 4 = 100 pts

Spend time with spirit = 10 pts per day
If a tier has one item (ignoring pass items) that item is 100% of that tier's points. If it has 2 items (ignoring pass items), one of them will be worth 50% and the other will be the other 50%
