the platform collision issue seems to be a PC problem. we did it by putting a prop to stand on -- for the quest, you have to burn all the darkness plants on the device (fixing the lantern is optional)

My friend gifted me the season pass and im so every grateful for them. THENKU @late fulcrum

My first thoughts on the pass is that the outfits are a hit or miss. Im a favorable fan of the purple, and I do think my sky kid would enjoy some of the outfits. The main thing is those masks. It reminds me of kintsugi where is the Japanese tradition of repairing art or pottery with powdered gold to symbolize and embrace imperfection and life as a whole. I really love the metaphor

The lightmending part of the season is cool. Its one of the first season I've experience where you have to use exploration and collaborative skills to lightmending lanterns. It's really really cool and awesome. The environment gives off heavy splatoon 2 octo expansion vibes (a good thing btw i love that DLC). The music and sounds is also really nice and calming; I overall had a good time.

Honestly, this is a good season to start off sky in 2026. I'm enlighten and hopeful with what's to come in the near future!

I like how in the new season they showed that the memory lantern is a device that can deteriorate, and that there’s a whole team dedicated to fixing it.

But honestly, I think they need to speed things up. The tower of broken lanterns is higher than the stack of unresolved documents on my desk.

That device is called a fragment finder. It will help you to find a fragment that scattered all the broken lanterns. But it's single use and you have to light it again

The one I’m most aware of is on PC you might faze through a platform which you need to clear darkness from (the quest isn’t actually fixing the lantern). If that’s your issue you can stand on a prop

Light Catcher now comes back with a new wind instrument that sounds like a ney on lower notes but sounds more like a piccolo (?) on higher notes, AND can sustain notes too!

the quests are independent of the lantern. There's one lantern a day and if you do two quests in one day, both quests will take place in the same lantern.

Completing the quest doesn't seem to be tied to fully completing the lightmending -- it's cleared the moment you try one of those jump pads after burning the darkness off of them

when the cutscene plays when you pose in front of the restored spirits image, that counts as completion

The quest objective is fixing up the device until the completion banner appears. You can then go back to the platform where you spawned to return to the guide without collecting any fragment shards and the quest completion cutscene would play.
The lantern mending becomes an additional task like trials where you can select the device you have unlocked to use inside the domain. The center table would have an interaction icon to activate a daily mending task.

I don't think you have to do it everyday. The devices like fragment finder and light launcher (is that what its called lol) are supposed to help you repair the fragments faster. As far as I can tell, mending the lanterns is like a new daily way to collect wax...

This might be a really dumb question but this is my first season while actively playing and I’m a bit confused! I’m finding the crystal pieces but then it cuts to a scene of someone else finding them as well so is it like a teamwork type of guest? Or do I have to find them all myself? Should I also be saving my seasonal candles or unlocking each reward as I get them?
