Doubling daily light is a BIG change if it gives us access to 40 candles a day. This is a small change, since normally you can get 8 white/black dye a week, and now we get 9.

Yep, double the dye you'd normally get. So black and white you can buy two of instead of one, purple cyan and yellow you can buy six instead of three... i believe red, green and blue you'd normally get four of, so it should be eight for each but don't quote me on this, I usually don't buy those.

However, the candle you can sometimes buy with dye is not doubled by the looks of things. Or else I just didnt pay enough attention when I was buying that

That line is a bit misleading. There are no new items for this event, but in the dye workshop the buying limit for dyes is doubled (e.g 2 white and black per week instead of 1, 6 cyan, yellow, and/or purple per week instead of 3)

I think they wanted to make sure informations are as clear in the patch notes since usually those things summarise the main points that's coming in the patch, instead of outlining the events all above the important bug fixes. Some players definitely had a trouble of reading the old notes so I think TMiS and the new patch highlight video (like what we got from tio earlier) should help with conveying the event announcements and giving us a clear preview of what's to come. That's why patch notes this time is plainer, it's meant to summarise important info rather than a newsletter

I like that TMiS actually gave us solid dates for patch notes and the patch release too

Skykids, genuinely curious about your opinion on the light events (geyser granny ect) do you think TGC should change the timings? (i.e. more time between the events, or go into the gap hour)

a friend brought this up about how they cant make them because they are often online in hours that dont have any and wish there was more time so that we could have a light event every half hour regardless.

I like them being as close together as they are, as if you don't have much time to play you can still get a decent number of candles, provided you play at the right time. But of course, that's not good for everyone, as you said.
I think the best thing for TGC to do would be to add another one or two light events in the gap hour. They could share the wax limit so you wouldn't feel compelled to play through all of them, just the ones you enjoy most/fit your timings best.

• Lap 01, I zoned out and didn't notice it right away.
• Lap 02, I stopped losing WL's at that time range.
• ignore the Lap 03
• Lap 04, I tested it again and I stopped losing WL's at that time range.

I think it's safe to assume rain damage starts being disabled once you're AFK at 1:56 or so minutes time.

Pretty sure that feature is coming to all spirits but only starting on Monday. It's prolly related to the new feature of ||taking spirits on your CR/adventures which imo seems like it might be the season gimmick||

there's a wl that i collected yesterday (above isle first cave) but it didnt register apparently. so from 244, then 245, then 244 again. i actually didnt notice. but im back to 245. hopeully when i login again later it stays as 245

Sometimes when there is an update it will get swapped out with another wl and "respawn" so you can collect it. Which is what i thought happend this time. But it seems like there is another extra wl in isle now?!

We are supposed to be able to collect it. It moves to the boat after the first run through. The problem seems to be that instead of moving the wl, TGC made 2 wl and toggle one off and the other on. But the map doesn't know that and just says there's still a wl uncollected.
