Okay, I think we have exactly that case today: The first radiant shard gave 0 darkness since it fell too close to the surface/land, so total darkness is 3 for the first wave and the second wave would fall when -1 (-0.4 rounded) darkness is left… And if there‘s no darkness, you can’t burn another one to get to -1

depending on the group, most of them hang out in certain part of the realm

if they're from the same season, the season guide will be at aviary/homespace, with a teleport button you can interact and they'll take you there iirc

There's no wax spots in the house, you are free to explore and can interact with the furniture.
