A bit late, but try to open the windows menu (with the windows key) and/or open another app like Discord while the NPC's holding your hand, then click back into Sky after a few seconds. It'll skip the spirit gate opening and you'll be right across it. If it didn't work, do the same thing except stay on the windows menu without clicking on any app for a few seconds, then hops back into Sky

For some reason, when you're out of the Sky app, the gate won't block you out during handholding

another note is i noticed that they dropped the price of the smock since last year by $1 which isnt much but if you feel like you dont wanna buy this years cosmetics theres always next year. its a big task to learn where everything is on your own. when i was new i watched winged light guides and over time i memorized where they all were, but i needed help at first. a big part of the game is helping others, so dont be afraid to ask players for help! lots of experienced players will be glad to show you where things are :) also there are just so many things, ive been playing for almost 4 years and still have to look up spirit locations sometimes lol

im sure everyone who started was frustrated, but the game takes on a whole learning curve. its like any other game where you start with 0 knowledge, but overtime if you watch YT tutorial videos (NoobMode) is a good start. they have a really good full CR/WL walkthrough.

it is frustrating that people ingame might not give you help. but if you ever need help there are lots of people in this server willing to help a hand on #looking-for-group-live. just ask over there for someone to take you on a run. maybe you might think being tugged around doesnt help you with anything but its more so the pattern they take that you slowly get a realization of where to go when youre on your own.

exploration is a big part to this game, next would be interacting and making new friends! i hope you dont give up :3

no, i would say exploring yourself is the best solution, familiarize yourself with each realm.

When I first joined I spent most of the time playing solo, and honestly just exploring and doing mini CRs. I found most wings by exploring and mini CRs helped me learn the layout of each section (especially the helpful blooms & recharge spots) so I was less confused and didn’t get turned around as much. It took a while and I was very anxious and panicking quite a lot of the time. I genuinely spent quite a lot of that time assuming I was just bad, but the learning curve is like that for most people.
Also you’re not supposed to get everything the run few runs through, some spots are designed that you get them later on. My sky parent giving me flying lessons in the meadow also helped a lot (especially using the glide function as soon as you take off which a lot of new players struggle with between steering).
But for daily quests, definitely use the infographics here that Io posts so you know where to go!!

No, that is an optional resource. Sky is a game about the excitement of discovery and adventure, and you can't discover new things if you insist on knowing everything right from the start.

Go explore a bit more, interact and talk with new people at candle benches, and take your time to make sense of everything. Don't rush your journey

2- if you're on a chat bench, the other player also need to be on that bench for you to able to see each other's chat
3- some bench requires you to light up the white candle in the middle of the bench (or spend a candle then light it up)

Eden gives Ascended Candles, these are the candles that allow you to by the extra wing buffs (the unlock symbol with wings on spirits) you can only get the reward from Eden 1 time a week. When you run Eden, you will lose all your wing light every time, that’s the point. To save the children and give them light. Once out of Eden if you have unlocked wing buffs you will get those back but will need to regather all the wing lights again. You can use the map shrine at home or in other realms to find where you’re missing wing lights. You can also use wiki fandom on Google with almost all information for the game as well as YouTube for guides. Hope that answers the question you were asking. My daughter gets frustrated because she wants to play it like all other games but it’s about the journey and the story. It’s not an instant gratification game.

Hello! You need to go to hermit valley first. There are a few ways to reach it. One is: Enter Valley social area, go to your right, get in Village of Dreams. You can activate the gondola to go up the mountain, and then use the 2nd gondola, after activating it, to reach Hermit Valley. When you get there if you go forward, you will reach Yeti's home. Facing Yeti's home, to your right you will see clouds (that you can use to recharge while flying) and far away...the sun. Fly towards the sun until you find a small mountain peak. There you should find the prince.
