I can’t remember when double candles happened, but they did extend the season by an extra week I think. So essentially, the additional days given to us might be enough to count as a Double Seasonal candle week.

This means we will get more seasonal candles by the end, compared to the previous end date.

^ Man, that positioning is annoying. The flying red shards go straight through the area with the floating seeds. It's not practical to avoid the red shards so you have to accept that you're going to get hit.

Tomorrow will unfortunately be a No Shard Day on a Black Shard Day, which was supposed to be at Broken Temple, so there won't be any Shard anywhere tomorrow

• Went to Hermit Valley to do the shard event
• No one's there so I went to the boat area to trigger a server merge
• Got server merged with this guy here who kept honking non-stop
• Pointing to the shards to tell them that I need help with the shards (they still kept honking)
• Gave up, sat next to them, thinking they wanted to go do sliding race for wax
• They stopped honking AND DID NOTHING
• Waited for a bit before leaving them because we're just staring at each other
• They started honking again as I attempted to do the shards solo

Unfortunately, the last cauldron in Quest 5 can be a bit of a pain to light up, as most people usually just run to where it is, rather than staying in a line

Even when we ran back to make it a line, sometimes the flame would teleport in front or behind. I had a similar problem trying to light up the prairie masks where people would phase in and out so the light would just go vwoop in directions

I think memories are chosen randomly, and the seed number is different for switch and mobile. Hence it would make sense not to match one to another, but to track two sequences of memory types. With a line long enough a pattern could be discovered probably - e.g. by using the default rng on phones and scrolling through seeds.

When the shard page says things like "A maximum of 3.5 AC" what governs whether you get the maximum ?

How many light fragments you collect during the activity, after burning away the darkness. The more you collect = the more AC you're rewarded

You don't need to grab every single one to get the max reward, though. And progress is shared between all players who join the activity :>

This current shard was very worrying for myself, 122.75 AC, it's a 3.5 AC shard, I need 2.25, I joined someone who already sat and had collected some already , so my progress was 0, on top of that the aforementioned bug... I managed to get my isle mask though, very happy about being able to spend AC for a bit now but, woof, I don't tally how much I lose out on to not really think about it too hard..

I'd of had the forest mask by now but I would've had to void getting to piggyback and bear hug with a lot of friends in my first few months of playtime with people, and that was not an experience I wanted to miss out on nor underdeliver theirs.

But from now on I can bank some then start saving for that forest mask.

It'll work so well with my hair of choice. I even used to ware the real forest mask when I was a new born ^^

The Forest Mask is the one I don't have. I'm not having any trouble saving up AC (just keep doing Eden and Red Shards) but I keep spending my hearts on WL from travelling spirits.

it is 2ac for the wl from the TS, not hearts, Thankfully a cheap amount for the biweekly TS, but does hurt a tiny bit when you let go of 10 within a week..due to a special visit

Honestly, days of music is quite cheap for me, the emotes, 52 hearts there, and then 70 candles for thinkers cape, + a bit more for the hearts and spells before emotes.

I just never got around to learning the music part of the game to remove my fomo towards things.

When the Shards appear on a gate at Home, the Early Shard Sky in the Shard Area Vanishes, and the ACTUAL Shard Sky starts to slowly form in the Shard Area and other Realms too 8 Minutes before Shardfall, then when the Shard lands, the Sky in the other Realms go back to normal, except the Shard Area

It’s one of the masks I’m missing, couldn’t afford it when they came as a TS two years back. But now I can

For now i copy pasted the days of rainbow past info but once the event happens in live and we discover the confirmed tickets ill update it [how the ticket system for this event will happen etc]
Im guessing it won't be much different since this time we need 145 tickets compared to DoC 104 tickets [ill edit in that ticket number is subject to change]

In the blog they mentioned that there "may" be tickets in the music challenge minigame and around instruments or in different areas in music hall

Technically, it could be. In true random instances, there can exist strings of seemingly impossible odds. An example I recently read was, in 100 coin flips, getting a string of 12 tails in a row. Randomness only has a more distributed variance in signifantly large sample sizes. Small sample sizes really don't provide enough data to give an accurate example of the real odds.

However, this is moot. What's likely happening is shard memories likely have a "weighted" system, where certain memories have more priority over others, making them more likely to appear. If they actually aren't manually chosen, that is, and the devs are just long-con trolling us. 🤣

Tomorrow's Shard SHOULD be a Moderate Red Shard at Prairie Caves, which will fall at <t:1688222920:T>, with Early Red Shard Skies appearing at Prairie Caves at <t:1688220470:T>, the 'Lights Afar' Shard Music will also play in Prairie Caves at <t:1688222810:T>, the reward for tomorrow's Shard will be 2 ACs

We'll just have to wait and see, since Memories are random per Red Shard Day, there's no telling what Shard Memory you'll get at each Red Shard, and some CAN repeat too

I think you can predict the shard variations at some locations? So variations have a pattern too, then why should shard memories be random? (Also I don’t want to believe they’re random)
