Shard scientists are busy but we were able to catch Dr. Layla in the corridor of Eden Science Observatory: Well whereas still many factors in the magnetic field of Eden heart are need to be examined and mystery to be resolved we noticed that Elders always favored moths. Moths seem to get more light first time exploring base constellation spirits and it seems - since this is the earliest part of the realms where red shards spawn - Elders spread extra supportive moth wing powder on these days on Eden's heart with their well known "yikes" Assembly emote which results in softer presence of arthropodea in that area

Now that I think about it... I've never lost one, either. I don't think I've ever even been extinguished by one. Close, sure, but never fully. It probably helps that I get mega paranoid when low on light in things like shards, so I react a lot quicker to threats.

Since 0.18.5, it’s been changed so you will lose around 3 - 3.5 wedges when touching or getting knocked into a Radiant Shard

Nope, no function other than working like the butterfly catcher emote. (It doesn't recharge you like the emote does.)

Don't feel obligated to buy it if you don't see yourself using it very much. It's a cute prop for shared spaces but if you want to save your candles, don't stress over it stickerLove

Mine didnt seem to do anything. Don't know whether it was too early in the season or some other reason for that, but imo you can probably live without it.

Some of the butterflies in Ark don't behave like regular ones. They don't fly to you unless you call, even if you're very low on light, so it's possible that the butterflies in Ark just... won't go to the fountain.

That's interesting. Havent noticed it before.

But it seems odd, given that the fountain is a Days of Bloom item and is supposed to attract butterflies. Why would it not do so right in the Bloom area? And the other person here who tried it was under the Ark, where there are always butterflies that, I think, do usually recharge you.

Not sure. Maybe there are too many scripts going on in Ark right now, and everything is getting bogged down a little bit. Maybe try after Bloom ends?
