Oi, okay so it’s in the shipwreck. You enter wasteland and go through the first area after crash landing. You go through the second area with the single krill. You go through the “archway” area with the large side room on the left. You should be at a hill approaching the graveyard with all the large bones in it. On the right, partway down the hill, is a spirit gate that requires one wasteland spirit to pass through. Behind that gate is the shipwreck. In front of you you will see a wrecked ship with a single krill flying around it. Jump down to the ground and after landing you turn right and should see a wide open space. That is where the shards are.

I didn’t know how long you had been playing. There were still screenshots and people naming the area only a few messages before you first asked so I wasn’t sure if you hadn’t seen them or hadn’t recognized the area or what. I learned early on that it’s better to assume someone is a newer player because older players usually have more patience and will understand if the assumption is wrong, whereas newer players get easily frustrated, so it is a safer bet. Sorry I offended you; I was just trying to help.

for me the deep honking doesn’t work but I can do a sort of dance around them until they follow me. Wait until their eyes glow and then start jumping or sliding (NOT running, they’re faster than you are) in a zigzag pattern away from them in the direction you want them to go. Usually 3 or 4 times doing this will get them far enough away that they won’t bother you during phase 1.

Otherwise the quest doesn't count as done as long as you don't visit the memory after finishing the shard

The number of regular candles from black shards wax depends on your chevrons.

If you got one candle here, you got more candles elsewhere from the same amount of wax

iirc isn't the max amount of candles is 3 if you haven't gotten any other wax after reset?

At full chevrons you need 82 wax (see daily light system with discord search by Clement) to fill one candle. So with 200 wax you can forge 3 candles at three chevrons if you have enough wax leftover already in your candle bar.

For quite a bit now, I've been replacing Shard Music that I will use for Shard Events depending on the difficulty of the Shard, but both the Black Shard and the Red Shard with Silent Storm music both had the same replaced music (because I was too lazy to find a new one) but now I did, and the replaced music that I will use for Black Shards has changed, which I think suits Black Shards well

The replaced music for Black Shards now sound like this:

In fact it's not a bug, but a missing feature not implemented yet in the game they are already working on.
We already had a patch update recently so there's a bigger chance this feature will be implemented between seasons or in next season.
