Which leads us back to the initial point of at least one hero or feature worth of items in regard to completion accessable for f2p.

As an f2p, I know I'm going to have to prioritize where I use my items, but having the knowledge that I can at least do something all the way helps ease the burden and keeps me able to support others in my family and state team

Oh I completely agree. And at least let all of them should be found. The fact you have to level all four to level to 7 to get Splinter is just silly to me. No way obtainable for a F2P or even a low spender.

One thing I also think makes a collaboration "good" is that it sticks with the intent to drive engagement, and market both entities as positive partners, both in relevance and in focus of user satisfaction.
No one is going to think highly of either entity if a collaboration is questionable, expensive, irrelevant, and difficult to engage with.

That's definitely a solid point. It's painful to watch them doing what they're doing because the pieces to drive engagement and the requests that would help players get there are already in the game, most are just sorely outdated and players are no longer willing to take the effort to engage.

e.g. Plague Zone. Because you want a Maddie create and more Jane frags, said no one ever. We even joke about it my alliance. We only do PZ to rank. That's it, and that's a sad state of affairs.

And by we, I mean like 10 players. We do it right after Trap so one can see there is a significant drop off in interested players

Aside from just ensuring favorable views on both sides of a collab, i gotta agree with Future that we already have things in the game to drive the metrics the devs want. Hello Michelle, as of yet there are no SvS prep days which award points for formation system parts. The only aircraft-related material that earns points are the standard level up ones. Hope that helps!

No, I'd worked out early on that i could earn donny. I can probably earn mikey through the gacha too. But that doesn't change that gacha mechanisms for a key feature in an event suck. They should never be used for anything you should really earn by just playing the game. Especially not fups horrible version where you win resources and cheif XP rather than the frags or even simply good items

That's correct and I made one mistake in my comment this morning someone quickly and graciously corrected.

Finding a hero and completing a hero are two different things entirely and they've made it even more expensive to unlock their special completion skills so it for sure isn't happening for F2P

We were also reminded they've removed resonating frags and now it's only a paid bundle (no more swapping 15K bios for reso frags) so this further ensure we can't even complete them without paying, assuming they'll do the same thing they did with the RE frags at the end of that event

Sorry, I meant the general reso frags. Those were gone for some time now.

But we can still buy them 😦

Can never really complete reso heroes f2p. We also live with that. Most of the time for me its the collecting rather than maxing them out anyway. Its just the whole game is gestures vaguely with its issues and honestly you get lost in how bad it all is sometimes.

Buying the potions out the crates for me has only made sense when:

1. The hero frags are maxed but I'm lacking potion to upgrade them. (just had this happen with Scope, and then Buzz)

2. The heroes in the crate are already maxed and I just want the potion to start going towards an older gen or save them for a future gen. (just did this with Strings)

Otherwise, it hasn't made much sense but those are just my experiences.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I opened like 5 of those crates with just potion before realizing that each of the different crates comes with 10 lol 😂. Could’ve used them on the skills lol

Observation:

Expired Event Rewards.

When an event has expired, let me choose the final rewards instead of converting items I paid money for into RSS.

Consequence:

If users wanted RSS, they would buy bundles that contained them, or use the various tokens they’ve completed tasks to get. Users might be increasingly wary of purchasing bundles when they know if they miss the deadline to convert them for any reason they will instead receive RSS, which is not a great ROI.

Suggested Solution(s):

1. When the event expires, let us choose what we want to receive as rewards.
2. When an event expires, leave the store intact for a few days (grace period), to allow us to convert our items. Some events currently do this, so it wouldn’t be that hard to extend this feature across all events.

No logic btw in this bundle crates...Lets say your heroes are maxed all the 6th there , should be if you have extra frags to have opportunity to recycle them or if you want only potions to get 15 or 13 but not 10 same number like in the crates, but if we looked at the proportions and the frags bundle prices well only advanced potions number should be like 20.

I really dont know any other game to offering to players bigger packs with less items inside. 2x500 diamond packs items are not equal to one 1000 diamond pack...2x1000 arnt equal to 2000, 2000 are with less parts/items etc even with this nonsense they still add those ridiculous banners with 3000%,4000,150 000%

Also you cannot see the price of second chest, you need to buy the first one...just to realise isnt 1000 or 1500 diamonds its 2000 😂

It's the difference of people being able to devleop gen 13 marches for a few months? I think it was compared to others so they had one "strong" march and once gen 14 and 15 dropped they had to focus on two lots of heros compared to others who had to do like 5 odd heros

The injection will have an impact of 0.000001% (exaggerated, but you know)
so not really a big thing tbh.
Won´t help to avoid getting bbqed. If the opponent burn you by 1st hit, you will burn before the injection use. And also the same after usage of it.

My personal opinion is Mia's first skill is pretty OP. 50% heal for both riders and hunters in every round

But as a gen skipping state you can skip gen 14 altogether, pick Chukon over Robert (he’s an upgraded version of it), pick Carlos which is good cross gen, Evelyn is a must and good cross gen, and go for Maddie.

You know, the late 700s states had it this way: in August we were getting normal Gen 11 but instead we got fake-limitless Gen 7-11. Then fake-limitless Gen 12 for 3 months. Then Gen 13-14-15-16-17 at the same time. We don’t have Maddie nor Evelyn available at Rays. We dont have Evelyn on vouchers either. Yet we know she is good to have. We have had the limitless now for 6 weeks. Potions are scarce without pouring tons of money in. And in 6 weeks we are facing teams with 6 months of gen 14 or whatever.

There is a lot to try and keep track of, and I have a lot of issues too. I dislike having to rely almost exclusively on player-generated content as a rule rather than a nice option.
And being that it's a lot of moving parts, I'm one of the few in my alliance who even sort of understands half of it. Explaining it all to my team has become of case of field triage more than actual education.
And because information isn't consistent over time and changes constantly as the game does, I'm having to then explain that "no, that's incorrect and no longer works. You need x, y, and z to be at this before you can then focus on a and b, and c is a false metric which actually contributes nothing. G, h, I, and j are only relevant if d, e, and f meet these parameters" etc etc

I didn't mind the first airplane, it was new - it was bad and had tons of bugs, just like every new thing or event has in this game - but it was new. The heli was already repetitive and boring. And now they bring two more airplanes, but thankfully removed the 200lvls of monster killing. I don't see this as a good thing, its just a money greed based copy/paste. Nope, Airplanes, vehicles, and even tempest gear - all copy/paste of other things to make the game more buggy, players frustrated and not really new. They have no idea what to do with the game, as this current turtle even also shows this. Its an (air)ship going down.

When we discuss things like game development and what would make a game successful, players are looking at things from the perspectives of:
"does the story interest me"
"am I feeling like I have a good grasp of the mechanics"
"Is growth linear and am I given options for how and what I do with my account as it evolves"
"Are the paid options actually options, are they fairly priced for my country or region, and are they promoting things I both want and need personally?"
"Does the development staff give clear communications and noticeably work to correct any issues or address the community in a reasonable time, and is there always someone available in various spaces for support staff?"

That sounds great, but we all experienced different things. Most people still feel like the devs dont listen at all, regardless what is said or voted on, on this server.

They have a vote for new heroes, the community was against any new heroes as their old ones weren't even done. And what happens, within 3 months we have nearly 14 new heroes or something (my math sux)

there's more examples of these things, and that's why nobody believes anything dev say nomore. Is like, we will make help&support better. So they update the pages for help & Support. And now they have the old menu as 'secret menu' because everyone is fed up with the automated responses of current help & support. Its a joke lol

We have people who have been waiting on appropriate compensation since certain world events while others have no access to previous fragments outside of options which feel like they're forcing financial investment.

Easy, matchmaking is boring. When there's no variety of competition and people just play the same teams repeatedly, the game becomes stale. By introducing the opportunity to allow players to grow while the bugs are being corrected to utilize less resources, it also introduces the potential for more diverse selection of teams among - or close to - their level in pvp.

There are are lot of stupidities like this, for example when troop training resets back to like it was when you first discovered them, or decorations and frames appear with red dots again when they introduce a new event even though you have nothing new and its items you've held for months or years. I personally like the new TD but it could use some adjustments as people are saying.
Switchable tasks? Yes or no
Exclusive Tasks? What kind/quantity/points
Alliance tasks? Same considerations
Easy to understand? Yes or no
Points/rewards structure? Milestones/quality and quantity in each solo/alliance

These aren't even all things to think of in designing this event, but some of these have major points of contention for players. Some players don't want to be told to use construction on what many states consider a research day, or don't want to deal with constant bundle pack challenges in their tasks because of their alliance's spending metric.

While yes, R4/5 can remove those tasks, the frequency of which they come up disallows meaningful engagement in other tasks vital to individuals and teams alike

Which is all I was trying to ask/say. If FP tells me I need to do something on Wednesday, as opposed to any day of the week (I can't remember how custom tasks refreshed, outside of actually completing them) then to me that's forced.

It means I must have the resources on that day as opposed to working on other areas to get the resources via events or tasks and then only engaging with the custom tasks when those are secured.

Its not even just that. People need flexibility in their real lives, some of us are happy with fixing things on Day 1 or Day 3. Some people work in such a way they can't afford to do that, and its inflexible, so they miss out. Or even, they simply have enough to do already and miss/forgot it and realise only the day after. I don't want or need more restrictions in game than we already have, its got worse rather than better and we've moved forward since 2020, and people have less time on their hands.

Queue, parallel conversation about DD, AD etc timings during inappropriate times.

Sure you can't apply that logic to everything, but you have to apply it where its possible.

You nailed it. I'm a UX contractor and depending on where we are on a project I may not be available to complete tasks or participate in certain events.

In the past, especially when I'm the lead on a project, I have had days where I could not check my phone or do anything for 8+ hours. These are usually back to back IDIs (In-Depth User Interviews) with just a 30 minute break in between. At the end of these days I'm mentally drained, and they are usually week long stints.

I've had it good recently where my last two clients allowed me to work asynchronously but they're the exception, not the rule.

I never thought about it/looked at it that way but admittedly this is not one of my favorite "events" in SOS. If you select a few of the "Kill 15 Infected", you're then spending 6K biocaps (it's more) if you're also doing your daily tasks and joining rallies. Add PZ and forget it...

I saw a ticket for this today, which I upvoted because it's spot on.

Last throwdown I was ranked no.1 and finished the event no.2 in my alliance and in the end it wasn't worth it compared to what I spent to get there. The same with points event. I've ranked no.1 consecutively in the 2 states I've been in, but the bios used to hold that spot against stiff competition also wasn't worth it.

Now, if you are buying bundles every single day or every other day and getting the bios this isn't a problem you have. Not even close.

Tempest Arms blue and purple cubes should be recyclable for yellow (Legendary) cubes.

The yellow cubes are more rare and harder to come by, or are more expensive in various stores so an easier way to obtain them would go a long way for various tiers of players.

Consequence:

Players, especially F2P, are unable to close the gap on big spenders or help make their heroes stronger for various events by not being able to craft enough Legendary Tempest Arms, and then later ascend them.

Suggested Solution(s):

1. Allow users to convert an excess of blue or purple cubes (rare and epic) into yellow (legendary) cubes of a specific value.

"Escape the Train" and it has a timer, or something. Not like they did with the RE collaboration, but done as with Daryl where it mimics Explorer and you're required to find things along the way.
