Do you know that Becca is the most hated hero in SoS?

No? Ah right, you never played your own game.
She always appears in the most critical situation we are faced, when a overpowered maxed player burns us during SvS or RR and we URGENTLY need to jump away to avoid getting zeroed within seconds.
But then this mad hero jumps in our face, and blocks us for crucial 15-30 seconds (depending on how bad the game is lagging) to do ANYTHING helpful, while the attacker kills exponentially more of our troops, filling our enlistment for weeks, while Becca is explaining us for the threehundred32th time how enlistment works.

CAN YOU PLEASE FINALLY REMOVE THIS CRAPPY BECCA POPUP WHEN WE GET ZEROED?

Every time we read "Becca" somewhere, we get horrible flashbacks to those moments and think about quitting again.

State 1000 use to be a leading state. When we didn't get put on the LAST merge, all our big players transferred and now we aren't competitive. Dying state that got skipped for merge again. The spenders are done.

Tbh I really don't think so, I think they've got not only network congestion issues but also graphic related chokes in performance, the explosion of fancy HQ and march skins, for example. It's not a coincidence that having more players on screen with custom skins results in laggy events.

The march skins in KOTH probably also add to the performance chokes (menus getting stuck, general lag, etc)

Nah, it's doable. There's some things that can get tweaked and performance optimizations, at least part of it is network related. Also hopefully they update the rewards. It's better to have the free stuff than not, but that stuff was calculated when plasma was more valuable (plasma for plasma) than it is now

At the upper end rally leads will push for upgrades to try to succeed over their opponents. It's also a reason for more fair matching, from an earnings perspective.

I think they have motivation, too, but you'd probably have to play with big enough spenders to see it. People absolutely will do some clutch upgrades if they think it will take the alliance to the finals. A lot of rally leads spend for the thrill of victory or to feel like they're not letting their alliance down.

Adjustments to the rewards would help with that, like instead of temporary skins give permanent skins that get fancier as you upgrade them. Upgrading the skins wasn't a thing back then but it is now. Give more plasma, maybe polymer. Stuff like that. Temporary titles would be a good idea, too, it lets the whole alliance show off how far they got. A big part of the spending model is making people's eyes pop when they see your stats, your alliance, that stuff.

I think their main failure with matching is that because of all the features they've added the simple calculation they're using isn't enough, and I don't think it can be enough. The system has grown so complicated that it now needs a new measureing model.

Some states in the US have passed laws that take effect soon. that limit the amount of money an online game is allowed to offer to an individual per day.

There are 100% dev accounts out there. Soneone brought up a "travis touch" who had max behemoth in the state, his only kills were from people hitting him and he never played any events. Go look, very good example of it.

That said if the players you're interacting with are strong they're also probably not devs.
