We have a few large catfish, the state we merge with has 10 death stars and 5 megalodons and several whales

So, about sos and collaborations

Never watched the walking dead, there was enough ads and commercials to know the interesting points in the show and enough hype about the show to know the juicy stuff.
But i enjoyed the collab they did. The after about 10 days it became tedious, but was still enjoyable and had funny moments in it.

Ok, for starters, one of my favorite villains, besides being loved by so many, not sure why a psychopathic batman character made it into sos, but at least it was entertaining and the Character was detailed in drawings etc. A bit too bouncy in animations though, seems a little too much like the riddler but whatever.

Resident evil. This is a beloved classic by so many players of the gaming community and movie lovers. It's been a while since I've seen the movies and even longer since I played the games. So when I see the spoiler about Leon and Ada becoming the upcoming heroes, I was like who are they 🤣. I'm serious.
Like, I just watched all the resident evil movies within the past 24 hours, even looked through some of my games. And wow. I'm really disappointed, more now than I was before. Out of all the people you could have picked to be the top 3 heroes, we get Chris for infantry, Leon for riders (if he's not a useless rider hero I'll be more disappointed) and Ada the hunter (Ada vs Leon, no doubt she should be the hunter, but sos love to make bad decisions)

I guess sos is on that low budget for collaboration, makes perfect sense they couldn't spend more to afford the rights to better characters considering their revenue is tanking at an alarming rate and player satisfaction is at an all time low.
Not sure about anyone else, but besides Alice (obviously), the person I remember most from resident evil is Jill. Guess Jill cost too much or was too much of a baddy that it wouldn't be appropriate to have her overpowering skills.

Commenting on match making. I know it will not change anything but...

We all know the match making works poorly by design. You pit biiig players against smaller ones to both stroke the ego of the big players and spenders and provoke the smaller spending alliance into spending in the hopes they win next time. You do this for MM RR and SvS.

It doesn't work. Smaller alliances give up and mostly stop after minimum points and whales don't really get to play. Nothing fun about sitting in a building for 20 minutes.

Want to know what would work to make people spend? Even, close matches. If you're 1% away from a victory your little spend makes a difference. If youre only 1% in front that little spend kerps you there. Interestingly this would apply even more to big spenders than small ones. Up against something where its close? Gotta spend to stay ahead.

However if all you want to do is stroke egos, keep doing what you're doing. Strong will stay strong but get some boring gameplay and littles will quit because they can't play.

Mm needs more divisions, my alliance is master rank but if I dropped into elite we would probably win, we are at 660k mm score we are up against val vvv rli etc with scores over 1million add a few extra divisions such a simple fix.

Trust me we hear you. We are working hard to help find solutions to these problems. I know it's not very fast and yeah sometimes it feels like things are wonky. But I do want you to know we are trying and you giving feedback and big reports even if you get a canned closed response helps us to move things in a positive direction. I wish I could fix everything and it was a perfect world. But I seem to have left my magic wand in my other suit and sent it to the dry cleaners lol. I’d assume they just lazily chuck them into the hero skill breakdown in details section but no way of knowing for sure. We have 3 leads relatively same strength, one has 5 whale statues while the other two have zero and we all hit about the same. Like I said doesn’t seem to have too much impact except the wallet.

I completely agree with this, but I will say this. There are many new mods that are so disillusioned into thinking that this company will change. The only true approach is what many mods have already done to date is quit en-masse, forcing FP to actually do something about it themselves rather than use a free unpaid workforce to do their companies jobs. The annoyance is that they also do so in a manner that they are still treated like just another player furnishing them with information to ignore, and naturally it sometimes feels that a mod is just a title, and offers nothing above what I can do myself without it.

I suspect also that this is why there are so many new mod faces lately.

Doxxing is one of the worst I've seen in SoS. This happened to me and others over a year ago. FP simply do not care, it was discussed at length with more than one GM, and ultimately outside of two players getting a temporary ban, nothing happened. Its verging and even in some cases surpassing cyber-mobbing and police involvement.

They simply do not have any measures in place to deal with what is ultimately just another social platform

Individually dead won't bring mergers. They can still leech for transfer tickets if individual states are dead so they're gonna prefer that route. You want merge, see what activity is for the group that could merge

There are states on list that got merged 6-9months ago, they still are crazy active and crazy strong (compared to most states that aren’t even on a merger list) but they are getting merger again

The state age and the fact no merger has took place IMHO isn't a factor, what is a factor is that whatever metrics are used to determine if say State 1000 can merge, should be the same metric that determines if State 200 merges. The state number and position in terms of how long its been open and hasn't had a merge is just ludicrous as a justification.

I just read the last comms and my brain hurts. Why do they overcomplicate everything. The transfer of the transfer will only occur on the date of transfer before the transfer and after the merger, but those wanting to transfer will transfer in January, and if you're in a state we skip the event with, then the transfer won't happen because our transfer isn't in line with your transfer so you can't transfer. you cannot attack players settlement, gathering tiles, you cannot be attacked.
Participation in solo based rank events will not interfere with the players of the state. The rewards you earn for events will be based upon your original state. Etc.

It's really easy to do a better merge for determining a states strength, etc.

Currently in the game there are "sectors" but only 1 sector exists and they're merging states into other states and it being the same sector.
The game has changed drastically. And more time consuming. People don't have time to make alts like they did before as spy account. Etc.
Also, bunch of hq1-10 have stopped playing but effect the state bp for players using the 61+ inactive transfer feature.

If those settlements effect the result of that state, what makes anyone think the state merge is being calculated any better. That's a bigger issue.

Every state merge brings complications. Hundreds of alliances have a 3 "character tag" and a name. And if alliances have the same tag, they must change the tag. Pretty bs considering there might be a 10 person casual players alliance who likes their tag. And a spy account in a state that also merged. A curious player spy account logs in before the causal main accounts. And the main account players need to make a new tag.

That's just minor issues. But other issues exist on the map itself.

1. Devs announce a merger 90 days in advance
2. Devs create state 0
3. Every settlement that is in a state for a merge gets moved to state 0
4. When a player logs in to their account, they are moved to their state
5. When 61 days have been reached, all accounts who have not "reentered" their state, are removed from the alliance of the state.
6. Devs calculate the states information accordingly.
7. Devs announce states that will merge no less than 28 days in advance.
8. State goes into maintenance.
9. State merges.
10. Currently every state is in "wrath county" sector. They make a new sector called (example) "infestation county" there will be clean maps with easy to find states from the world map view. Currently when you look at the world map view. So many "this state has already merged" exist and it's really junky looking.

Many other options can happen too.

When an hq 21, with 6 million battle power comes online in a state in the 80s, that does not have behemoths, aircraft, and the only heroes it has fragments for are sarge, chef, rusty. And the state offers states in the 400s saying "high player rank".... Clearly the game is not calculating the active players bp. It's clearly still counting and including the rank of all those who have not logged in for 3+ years as players.

Doesn't mean that a source of growth is removed. 10 levels in f+ way would also mean only 10 rewards. And with harder difficulty, that 96 clearing the hardest level gets pushed to maybe 50.

Reason for that is to ensure that only active members actually participate in RR.

It is hard enough to coordinate people in Showdown, where you just need to sign up, no need for live strategy during the match or whatever.

If you have people playing RR who don't listen during the match, you might just as well give up

Pretty much, new resonating heroes are more and more expensive, and ability to get their frags is either overpriced (Angelica) or rng (Chris), so buying and using universal resonated frags was actually good investment. Devs saw it and cut it immediately to not lose money

Take a leadership role, give up ur weekends, sleep and social life. Male plans, implement them, distribute them. Make sure everyone understands what needs to be done.
It's easy to criticise when you haven't done it and have no idea what and how much work it entails. Make a difference yourself and step up to a leadership role.
Put your money where your mouth is and then tell us if its that's simple. People have real life and stuff happens.

There is another alternative. Join a different alliance where they select their participants fairly, or based on some criteria and give people roles in RR.

What is the point of the different levels of crystal mines? Higher levels give the same rewards and don’t finish any faster. Seems like a waste of migo parts to unlock higher levels or the ability to gather more since the repellant is so little for 24 hours of gathering.

Plan only work if.. the pair us up correctly, meaning similar strength (monkey, Dino, and level of heroes). Of coz I know it's rather tough but often time we were paired with impossible opponent.. e.g our highest monkey was 160 but we had faced many with 200, it was simply impossible to knock them out. We had 6 rallies and we didn't even make it

There are two different problems there:

a) the people themselves and personal commitments or the fact they just don't care and
b) because FP implemented their forced time schedules, so you have to guess if you can be available before knowing when it is.
