The Second Riots

During a late night (in Alaskaland anyway), the automod for the server randomly stopped working without warning, completely out of left field. This prompted some server members to have a little fun with it, saying things like the classic "dn" joke among other things.

Not many mods in chat cared much, until Charles arrived.

Charles started mass warning people and muting, which prompted obvious pushback from the people of general.

Minutes passed, and it only escalated further, slowmode was put in place multiple times, there were tons of verbals, warns, and mutes being thrown around everywhere.
What turned into harmless joking eventually evolved into a large scale protest, criticizing the mod team and admins alike.

Since it's started it has only gotten worse, will update as the story progresses.

This personally to me was one of the most active moments I’ve seen in the server, as an example someone who was a mere grasshopper when the event started, was a dragon by time it ended, I personally sent 5000 messages in the server during this time. Even if /place was an April fools joke, it really did bring people together. And I aspire for stuff like that in my life, /place was an amazing event, and I hope to see it happen again in another 5 years.
