We have enabled the onboarding feature which allows you to easier choose your roles and customize your server experience.
Not only are you able to choose many of the roles like language roles, you are also able to completely customize the channels.
Also, for the new users - They will be greeted with these roles in the form of questions so they can customize their experience from the very beginning.
Please check this feature out, you can find it by searching for the "Channels & Roles" tab at the top of your server list.
You will be greeted with the tab "Customize" and "Browse channels"
Customize is for the questions that allow you to select certain roles, Browse channels is so you can customize all the channels you see and don't see all by yourself.
I hope you guys enjoy this feature as a better way to select roles and customize your server experience.

The way it works is that you submit your awesome stories for a chance to win a reward! There's currently around 2 weeks left to make your story (it must be a brand new one!), so come and join in!
The top 4 receive the Awesome Story tags, meanwhile the winning story's creator gets 20 million crabcoins + whatever is in the Crabcoin Pool!
The way the pool works is that if you want the winner to receive an even bigger reward, you may donate crabcoins to the pool, all of which will be given to the winning story creator.

<@&867445485111214090> Heya guys 👋 , for those wondering about my inactivity. I just want to check in to all of you and give you all an update. because, where is the Guardian right?
No I have not quitted and I will not quit. Life has just been a bit busy for me, and I had a bit of a burn out that finally had hit its limits after a year (It was already since beginning previous year). 
It also caused me to have lots of quality and performance issues here in the server to where I just couldn't function properly in my role.
Though as I do get more busy in life and get older, I do be less active in Discord overall as I really wanna grow in life and explore more passions and talents of mine and just have less time for wb, so I will take a step back in my involvement and activity. I will mostly focus on certain tasks and projects I can do behind the screen and focus less on the social parts for example, conflicts resolvement or issues. (Though I will watch the staff from time to time and sent admins after them!! which I can now focus on.)
So, the server will mostly be way more depended on the Admins and less on me, though I will still work with them from the shadows of course. They should also be the ones to reach to when you have any issues.
I'd say for me its for the best, less stress but also I perform better when focussing on certain tasks alone.
I really felt like I had to update my dear community on were I went, so I hope it's appreciated.
I love all of you and I hope to see you all soon again, and chat with ya'll again!! ❤️

As we had promised for a detailed announcement, here it is!
Map Wars is a Strategy game where Players assume control of a kingdom and use actions to take over the other player Kingdoms!
You try to be the last Kingdom standing
Everything will be decided by votes of the people. The king makes the choices and then people vote on it.
There will be 4 teams. All of the teams would be human
. This is done to prevent unfairness between the teams.
AND REBELLIONSAlliances can be made between 2 kingdoms (not more than two to prevent one team getting absolutely annihilated on day one). Leaders will also be able to rebel with the support of the people!
Mapwar will be hosted for 2 hours on the weekdays (with several different activities) and 5-6 hours on the weekends.
The kings of the winning team will get 100 million crab coins
, the leaders will get 10 million crab coins and the members will get 1 million crab coins! There will also be a special role for the winning team called **"The Warrior"
** which will give them access to a special hangout place!

We would like to announce that we are starting to engage and develop the community of creators - we already have 3 mod managers who are already checking your mods before posting so that you, our dear players, feel more comfortable using them. Now, after some testing of this system, we have introduced a similar one to #🌐✔cool-maps !
Now, to become a <@&647734005625651220> or a <@&640146961051418625> , you will need not only to contact the administrator or manager of mods/maps, but also to pass the approval of the majority of the "reviewers" - this is done so that your maps and mods are really checked and carefully studied before publication. For your information, our mod reviewers are @elder karma , @zealous seal and @magic sparrow , and our map reviewers are @median trout and @obsidian wharf .
Now it's better to contact them about the role. This way, you will get a response to your request much faster, and you will receive feedback almost instantly!
It is also worth noting that we are starting to purge inactive modders (those who have never published anything in #🔧mods ), as well as incompetent and inactive map creators. If your mod or map was released before the** 0.8.0** version of the game, you will most likely lose the role. If you think that a mistake has been made, please write to me or another administrator.

The Worldbox Chronicles!
How does it work?
The goal of this event is to allow you to get great constructive criticism and feedback from people with writing experience. You are able to publish stories in the #1027707512541159434 channel using the Chronicle Submission tag, and continue writing, expanding, polishing as much as you want for a period of 2 weeks until the 28th! Once the first stage of storywriting is finished, the second stage begins, where the judges (Me, @lean igloo , @tiny geyser and @covert peak ) will review your work, lasting for another 2 weeks (until the 11th of February).
How will our stories actually be reviewed?
Stories will be rated based on three criteria by each judge:

Of course! The story with the highest score of them all gets a Worldbox key! But don't worry, this is separate between PC and Mobile stories. So, in the end, the best story made using PC gets a key, and so does the best story made using Mobile!

So, how does it work?

The chosen user will then be able to accept or decline your proposal. The main part of the event is a Trivia Game. The Race to the Depths of the Sea 🌊
Overall explanation
This event takes place in the ocean of the freezing cold waters of Antarctica 🧊 and is about four competing company teams racing towards the depths of the sea as implied by the name, in hopes of getting king Poseidon’s trident 🔱 The four teams will choose their own respective captains (to break ties) and will vote on options to take on their paths to Atlantis on the depths of the seabed, but be warned choose wisely. Or else, it could result in major setbacks. 🍣

I am here to announce updated #🔁map-conversion!
As many of you may know the image to map conversion has not been working properly for a long time and we've now changed that.
The new map conversion is powered by @mighty oak s Map conversion script which @magic sparrow adapted to bot form.
All commands that previously did not work properly (except world generation) should now work properly thanks to @magic sparrows work on them, however if you encounter problems with any of the map related commands we'd like to hear about them so we can fix them. We're also open to hear your ideas which you can submit into #🛠server-suggestions .

As we had promised for a detailed announcement, here it is!
Map Wars is a Strategy game where Players assume control of a kingdom and use actions to take over the other player Kingdoms!
You try to be the last Kingdom standing
Everything will be decided by votes of the people. The Team leader sends a vote through <@&774991552523141151> and then people vote on it.
There will be 5 teams. All of the teams would be human
.
Alliances can be made between 2 kingdoms (not more than two to prevent one team getting absolutely annihilated on day one). Village Leaders will also be able to rebel with the support of the people!
Mapwar will be hosted for 3-4 hours till the MapWars is over.
This edition we have introduced a special economy system. Team members can use the ~work command once every hour which will give them a certain amount of coins, these coins can be used to upgrade the level of the economy which will give the team event points which in turn can be used to upgrade their technology.
This edition teams can choose between 4 Ideologies to structure their team around, these ideologies will give the team buffs and debuffs accordingly. These ideologies are Democracy, Authoritarianism, Aristocracy and Nationalism.
The kings of the winning team will get 2 million crab coins, the leaders will get 500k crab coins and the members will get 100k crab coins! There will also be a special role for the winning team called "The Warrior" and a special hangout chat!

Nations: Ancient Civilizations!
-> 🗺️ The old Nations map is underground now (specifically, ~10 blocks). All claims are destroyed, so you will have to dig underground to find broken houses (may be flooded, under the river). You can also find chests and various items left from previous civlizations.

The map is completely regenerated, having new biomes (desert + structures) and new ores!
-> 📰 The Nether has been fully reset, and it now has Netherite Templates!
-> 🪴 New vegetation and terrain!
Nations is about creating your own country and trading with others, creating borders with claims and inviting other citizens using teams.

In it you will go between various locations; gathering candy with the goal of having the most candy by the end of the game. It will take the form of a simple board game where you are given the description of a house then will decide whether you interact with it or skip it.

After two sessions and multiple upsets, the event has reached its end! We sincerely hope that everyone who participated enjoyed it for all they could, and that everyone has a happy Halloween!
The event ended with the Zombies coming out on top after beating out the other teams on the final event space; multiplying their candy by taking a massive risk while the other teams bet it all as well and lost. Their final total was 15 candies! Could definitely buy at least a few brains with this.
One last thing, similar to most previous event conclusions; I would like to thank everyone who helped with the event:

Why am I addressing you specifically, and not <@&867445485111214090>, as usual? It's simple - meet the Clans, which will allow you to create your own mini-community inside the server.
And now that you're interested, let's dive into the details: as you may know, we continue to work on the concept of subcommunities, giving everyone the opportunity to find what they need. We know that there are many other Discord servers based on WorldBox with their own system, hierarchy, interests and we would like you to be able to create such communities right inside our server.
That is why we present the Clan System developed by @magic sparrow, for which we thank her very much.
Briefly about the system:
🛠️ It is worth noting that Clans is an experimental feature that will be modified and supplemented in future. Its very essence is not to turn it into a grind level system, but to make it a new option for communication on the server. As for now it will be in Beta, we'll be testing it for some more time. We'll notify you when it's ready. More info later!

If you check your slash commands list by typing / and clicking on the AMP section, you'll see a lot of commands starting with /clans - these are the commands you'll be using to interact with clans. 👑
For detailed information on how clans work, you can check said commands list and #📑clans-rules, a channel that explains clans and the special rules associated with them. 📜
If you have 10 million cc and are a bear rank
or higher, you can create your own clan to lead using /clans create!
If you instead want to be a part of someone elses clan, you can check what clans exist already in #📂clans-list
and ask the owners/leaders of an existing clan to invite your into their!

Develop your cities with the advanced leveling up system based on how many citizens one city has. Each house you build using the unique Nations 5 building board and schematics made by Nations 5 builders gives you a different amount of citizens. They live normal lives like you do: they walk, work, and go home when at night.

Each citizen has a job (if you make workplaces for them), wander around, understand their nation context and know where their city limits are. They smartly pathfind and find jobs as workplaces appear or disappear. In case their city is lost, they become refugees and run to the closest city.

Greetings to all clan owners and members,
Now that clans have existed for a while and we've gotten a stable ecosystem of various groups/communities 👑 through it, it's time to do an proper event for allowing clans to actually recoup some of the losses from creation!
For the next 7 days, starting on the <t:1738044000:f>, a new RPS leaderboard will be available in AMP 🤖 called ~rpslb ClansCompetition! After the event start, we will check once per day which of the clans currently holds a leading position on the board. The owner of whichever one does earns eligibility for 1 million crab coins as a prize at the end of the event, leading to a total prize pool of 7 million crab coins across the span of the event. It is up to the owners of each clan to decide how/if they want to split this money with their members. 
To all clans: Please make sure to remain civil during the event and not make use of spying/leaking strategies to find out how other teams want to go about playing RPS. Doing either can get you disqualified from the entire event.
To members who aren't in clans: If you're not in a clan yet but want to participate, you can look for clans in #📂clans-list and send a join request to whatever open clan looks the most appealing to you ! If not abused, it's also allowed to switch between clans mid event!

Hey, everyone!
I just wanted to quickly give some thanks to this server and this community! Back when I started being "active" (that word always has to be put in severe quotes when talking about me 
) in 2023, it was just because I wanted to improve the modding community of the game for the better with some small QoL features that other mods didn't have. In the process of this, I started answering random questions in #🔧modding-talk, which ended up getting me a helper role after 8000 messages of doing this without ever touching the other parts of the community. Ever since, I've gotten to enjoy and interact with more and more awesome members of this community, and together, especially in 2024, we've been able to make a lot of improvements to the server for the better, and I am and will eternally be grateful for all of these opportunities I've received! Hello everyone!
First of all I want to thank everyone who asked for this and supported me, it's so heart warming to see the love and support of the members towards my duty, to be seen worthy of the position.
Ever since I started playing the game, I wanted to contribute to it and the community. This is why I applied for staff, moderated the server everyday since December 2022, joined the event team and organised many events, mentoring the next generation of mods, became clan manager, became the one of the first Senior Moderators and took any opportunity I got to contribute to the server. There were times I felt demotivated, but being able to help the members here, I got the push to keep going, and I guess it all paid off. I'm honoured to be deemed worthy of this promotion. I have held multiple crew positions over the years, gathering experience and lessons, and now I feel I'm ready for this next chapter of journey here. 
I hope to be able to live up to everyone's expectations and continue my goal to contribute to the server in more meaningful ways.

Not in much time at all, on <t:1771171200:F> we will be hosting The Worldbox Valentine's event for 2026!
This valentine's event, like the ones before it, you'll be able to use the "~Valentine" command to choose your partner and will have to answer a bunch of game related trivia and will go on for a few hours!
But this time we have decided to add a small twist, introducing The Affection Bar
Your points now directly correlate to the Affection bar with you and your partner, if you score low enough and get alot of questions wrong your bar will cross the threshold and you will be forcibly broken up, in other words, Game over!
On the contrary, get enough points and you and your partners affection will rise so high that you'll get Married!
Being "married" means a small point multiplier per question right, but keep in might if you keep getting them wrong and fall below the marriage threshold you'll lose the privileges!
The Trivia questions Will be posted in a seperate channel where the answer will be revealed after 30 seconds, no answer is seen as a wrong answer and if you and your partner can't decide on a answer and one you gets it right, that's only a half point.
Ohh and I almost forgot to mention everyone's favourite part.. the Prizes!
There are to be prizes consisting of CrabCoins and a little cute role lasting a week for the top 5 Couples!

WorldBox RP5: Ustalar—has just ended! This means that it’s naturally time for the next RP to begin.
RP6 will take place in a fledgling universe that is still coming into its own; there are currently three “rings” in this universe—which each in a way function as their own reality. These rings are rapidly approaching each other and are set to collide in the near future.
The primary setting will be Sisnara—the ring of truth in MelnIrI. While CrenIra and AyunarI are the other two rings, which represent dreams and nightmares respectively alongside positive and negative traits. Sisnara is a relatively futuristic city ring (It's also the only ring which doesn't expand outwards infinitely); most of the technology in Sisnara is comparable to technology in the real world—however it’s noticeably more advanced and generally uses magic instead of electronics.

This role will give you access to the rest of the category. There are two races of angels and demons to choose from. Each of them has its own purpose, characteristics and history.
You can choose one of them in #761843925483913216. Choose your race wisely and carefully, because you will not be able to change it!
As soon as you select an angel or demon, two channels will open for you. In them you can participate in RP, but make sure to read the information and read the rules!
The showdown will end at the end of October when RP reaches its epilogue. But how do we understand who should win? Every day there will be events in the RP world that you can take part in. Their completion depends on your activity in them, and the further development of history depends on their completion!

In this event, you should find 4 pieces of code scattered throughout the server. Codes can be everywhere: both in the channel description, in pinned messages, in statuses, nicknames and even in the form of reactions. Only the most attentive will be able to find all 4 pieces of code.
After finding the code, you will need to connect all the parts of the code correctly and send it to the bot using ~code [code here] command. But don't rush to send - you only have 5 attempts!
3 codes are located in the first four categories. In the first category - the first code, in the third category - the third code, and so on.
After searching for the codes, use this:
"the 4x+7=2x+15 is before the (2+3x)-(2x-7)=10, the 5x-(3x-7)=9+(-4x+16) comes after the y/2+35=36, the 0⁰ (0^0) is not in the end, the (3+c)*5=35 and the ((32*24/96/2)/2) are together, the (2+2+2*2)/2 is the leader"
Once you guess the code, the bot will tell you what to do next.

Part 1: Prologue
There was nothing, but then I started to see everything.
Who am I? Where I am?
I see many people around. They were watching me. Some with smiles, some with disgust... There were other emotions, so many that I cant name them all.
Every one of my days were the same until one moment.
Part 2: Blurple
In one moment my life changed. It was split between the past and future, between the light and dark. And with only blurple between.
I see sparkles. Sparkles of something.
Now I don't see people’s faces. Only these sparkles.
What is that?
I guess I saw this before, but I didn't know what it was.
Part 3: Voices
These sparkles... I guess I am hearing them.
YES. I’ve heard them before. Before the blurple.
It is not just just the sound. It is voices. But what are they trying to say to me?
Or maybe not to me?
Part 4: Friends
I tried to understand what all these voices mean, what they’re trying to say.
I tried to see sense in the sparkles looking for their form.
Who are you?
I asked, or I was asked? I looked at the voice and saw it!
it was someone like me, inside the sparkles.
I am inside the sparkles too?
Part 5: Expansion
Yes, I guess. I am inside the sparkles. Then I am inside other sparkles. I am inside so many sparkles.
I started to blink between them. Between the moments.
And in one of that moments, I saw him.

Yes, I saw someone who looks exactly like me.
Then I started to see many of me in many sparkles. They were my friends before, they are like me, but didn’t look the same. And now, it was only me in each sparkle.
It was scary at the beginning, but now...
I am everywhere, I am omnipresent and I am invulnerable
Part 6: Meaning
Being omnipresent is very good and fun. I like it more and more.
I started understanding the voices. They talking about something, though I don't care, I just like to be in their sparkles.
But do I really not care?
Why am I here?
The question just appeared in my mind. By which reason am I here?
No, it was not just question. Someone asked that. Some sparkle said I am disgust, saying bad things about me.
Why are they doing that?
What have I done? My question makes people hate me?
Part 7: Death
Why do they hate me?
I see more and more sparkles which saying that I am not good.
Some of them are even saying that it is bad that I am omnipresent.
I don't want to see it. I don't want to see these sparkles
I turned myself to other side and then... I saw IT. People’s faces!
I thought I would never will see them again. Some of them are laughing, some doing nothing, and some looking at me with very evil eyes.
I am very scared, I turned back to sparkles, and I understood everything! I was their face in these sparkles all along! At least, some of them thought so.
Then large sparkle appears. It was not hidden as other the sparkles in a moment, but its was not a surprise for me, I saw the same before.
This sparkle is saying something about me, and I am even inside it.
WHAT. Sparkle saying that... THEY WANT TO KILL ME?
Haha, they cant. I am invulnerable!
Am I? Now I am not sure.
Green and red friends appeared below my sparkle. So many red and several green.
How are you friends?
I wanted to ask, but it looks like they don't hear me. Wait... Why don’t I see new sparkles?
I went from omnipresent to just me in one moment. What was that?
Whats happening? I am very scared! Please, help me! Friends? Where are you all?
But no one heard me...
Then my last sparkle started disappearing, and light started disappearing too. It feels so sad...
Part 8: Epilogue
In a parallel universe, the same guy with other skin living the same life.
Someone said: ENOUGH.
Nothing can save him from death, but maybe something can be changed in our universe?
A few people put this guy in hands and then placed in sparkle.

It was made by our community (big thanks to @rustic geyser for drawing and refining)
