I can honestly say right now I do not like the battle pass that they've rolled out. We get less for longer time than we got with the choice tokens. And also while I have your attention please allow me to share my and my team mates huge dissatisfaction and disappointment coming from removing choice tokens from BP.
I am sure you and your team are aware that many players including me and my team plan ahead and choose tokens were extremely important part of that planning.
Personally based on my current efficiencies and build/upgrade costs I knew exactly what and when I should be able to upgrade.
Now this got thrown out of the window for no good reason.
I am struggling to understand why would this be the decision as from everyone I spoke with introduction of choice tokens were one of the most positive changes viewed in STFC community.
I simply struggle to understand that.

Oh, they plan on doing that tooo... well not fully removing them, but you get just a pittance of the new and improved formula Rerolls (8 per day i think?) and they announced the frequency with which "certain" tasks would spawn will be modified, which sounds an awful lot like taking out the chance to get 3 of the popular ones in one day... plus Choice Tokens means no more Mats Tasks every day, so the selection is shrinking even more...

I don't think that's the case, they could have either ended the claims before AT started or just changed the task, both of which would have been way easier than redoing the whole battlepass.

Never would have thought that Scopely could create a BP that would be worse then the Starfleet Academy show, but they have done it. Four Trips to get enough loot for a Single pull for the Academy Engineering Credits is just Silly. We should be able to make 1 Run and have enough loot for a single pull, not 4 runs. I will not have enough entry tokes to sustain this. 3rd Refinery that we can barely get anything out of. Outposts, Challenge and now the Academy. It will take more years to get anything useful out of these refineries then this game has left. Its great that you put all this nice stuff in these refineries like Artifact and the such but we never gain enough loot to obtain them. This will only make more people leave the game. I get it Scopely, you need to make money, but putting out content that stagnates our progress is not the way to increase your revenue. Your Customers would like to see real gains and then money will get spent. By doing what you are doing just makes us want to spend less. I know I will be until I see some kind of change in this game, the way it plays and my progress. Constantly Nerfing Mats and Rss hoping we will spend more to achieve this progress is not going to work. You need happy customers if you want them to spend money. Also, trying to force F2P players to spend money will only make them leave the game as well. You are constantly bleeding players, when will you wake up. I am hoping soon.

😂..... The past couple of months. I've spent more money on Pokemon Go and have gotten far more value out of the $40 then I would have with STFC. I'm also having more fun playing with my grandkids, which means less time on STFC because the game just blows chunks now . Every day the lag, freezing and getting kicked is just to much to deal with. Scopely Management said they were going to improve quality of game play. It's gotten worse, not better.

I highly recommend watching Section-31… 10 times over. Before an episode of ST: SFA. The whole series is cringy and the only redeeming character they made supporting role for about 2 to 5 minutes every few episodes (EMH). Plus he wasn’t even given good lines, like he had in Voyager.

I understand this series is for Gen-Z/Alpha… but it felt like a show in what is completely wrong with Hollyweird. I felt like it was just a show with scripted MeToo moments everywhere.

Also the MACO events yeaterday for the last 3 were pointless since they didnt count to the final tally as it ended at the same time. The events right now also suck! To the point I just logged since the only thing I can actually take part in is Tech Tuesday and Baited Hook. The rest is USS Reliant or NX-01 upgrades, the other is ship trials and station upgrades, well for anyone who actually plays the game and stays on top of their stuff will have nothing to do, especially off the back of multiple spend events, well planned out, nothing like leaving your player base in the position of might as well log out, nothing here for me do other than farm all day.

The problem is that everyone lacks the mitigation to get to the higher levels. Money is in the only solution for a quick fix, otherwise best to do the duo waves for the refinery progression.

I can't reach my own ops level for these hostiles until I get the new building upgraded or get the new refit.

I will admit... these new refits for the g6 epics are not bad.

One thing is clear: the only thing that works correctly is the payments section, since they've added events that are impossible to complete.
Now, apart from being small rewards compared to the time spent, the game doesn't even give them to you anymore.

They are clearly investigating it, and when they fix it, they will provide compensation that will not be 5% of everything not earned after the effort.

You keep adding new things every month just to charge, and the first week of the monthly event is always plagued with problems. Keep going, and there won't be a single player left.

But the payment page works perfectly.

Possible temporary workaround for people who are still not receiving rewards.

The notification would briefly show up on a fresh reboot, and you have to click it fast before it dissappears.

Repeat for each reward. Worked on android and pc. Sometimes took multiple reboots because the notification wouldn't pop up every time.

The problem is not that there are "no" rewards for the days in between 6 and 27, but that you canno tgather green tickmarks to trigger the existing rewards... so it will collect until and unless you get all 27 daily login ticks from the last event stage... which seems cruel event design.

If I initiate a Duo Wave... just like the current group waves, I share the coords in my alliance chat to invite another member to join. This acts the same it seems from my test this morning.... so those under 61 would see the invite. My question is could they click it and join.... or are they not able to join due to their ops level... or is it warp range contingent. - Added..... Im guessing no because to even get out there they had to obtain ops 61+ and unlock the warp trails.... but just wondering since you don't literally "travel" to waves, you kind of just pop there.

That was the only crew most people could use to get their dailies done and they decided to take that away because we can kill 10 hostiles on 10 trips. They throw us scraps for rewards and don't want us to get one free pixel. Its ok that you don't understand the difference, but there is indeed a huge, huge difference. Adding 5,000 more of something you have 200k extra of is nowhere near as valuable as adding 5,000 more of something you have 0 of. Raw totals earned does not come close to telling the whole story. If I have 200k g6 rare ore, 200k g6 rare gas, but 0 g6 rare crystal, getting 5,000 of each is far, far worse than just letting me decide how to split 15,000 up.

They threw so many nerfs at us the past 2+ months, and there have been so, so many technical problems that there hasn't been time for most players to fully understand just how much has been taken away and shoved into $-only vehicles.

Instead of properly funding passion and interest to create new content that we WANT to spend money on, they take the lazy path and just reduce how much stuff they give you in the hopes you get frustrated and spend $ to get more instead. Its lazy, uninspired and sad.

Its a feedback loop of lazy greed growing out of control. They get greedy and lose customers, do more lazy/greedy 💩 to keep short-term profits up, that pushes more players away, they have to do even more lazy/greedy 💩 to keep profits where they are, and so on and so on until... it all falls apart. Which is what we're seeing happen now.

Every now and then it reaches such a bad state that they try to do some damage control (last summer/fall with the Flashpoint fiasco, this past fall/winter with Connor's pledges to improve quality (lol!!!), whatever will come of this, etc. But nothing ever gets better long term, because its all performative. Actual investment in tech, proper dev processes and team sizes, improvements based on customer feedback, etc. all get sidetracked (or were never real to begin with) by the lazy/greedy cycle of instant profit above all else.

What hostiles cant you kill? Im guessing your talking about the V'ger content? Are you using the Excelsior to kill the normal hostiles, or are you having trouble with the summoned fighters?

The credit card company wont refund someone for buying something that they didn't have the proper tools to use. They obviously weren't ready for the V'Ger hostiles, so its not anyone's fault but their own for paying for a ship before knowing whether or not they could defeat the hostiles that come with it. That is why I waited and F2P the Dauntless. I couldn't scratch the Agg. hostiles at first, so no rush.

You don't understand. When they bought the ship, you could use Leslie with your best ship to kill high-level vger orions, and thus complete the full track. As of today, Leslie doesn't work anymore for hostiles above lvl 51. A straight up nerf that now means his purchase no longer works as intended.

And yes, you can definitely submit refund requests on your credit card. Its up to Scopely to contest the refund claim. I wish them luck. 😄
In practice, they let the first one or two go, then they just ban your account. So if you plan on doing this, understand they may just terminate your account (but you'll get the refund).

Will have to see how this works. The issue for the player above though, is that the change to Leslie today directly makes what he used to be able to do, when he chose to purchase the ship, not work today.

I used to use a Leslie crew to kill 10 lvl 71's on Wednesday and Sunday. The ship would die after each kill, which was a pain, but still doable. Then they changed something and my ship stopped dying, so I just killed 10 in one trip. Now, I won't be able to kill any.

For me, I don't really care anymore, I've got both feet out the door and haven't spent in over a year anyway. But if I had bought the ship because I could full complete the challenge track at the time of purchase, and now couldn't, I'd be rightly mad.

Its just that I also see many cases people will spend money on something they are not ready for. Ive done it myself. Personally, I can kill all that I need for 95% of the Excelsior Challenges, and 100% of the Sphere challenges at my Tier. I take it you're not g7. VGer Orion hostiles are nearly impossible at ops level 69+. Because the Orion hostiles are impossible at my level now that they've removed the Leslie hack, the bonus challenge track that you get from owning the Excelsior - which I paid for - cannot be completed.

Yup, there is a method to deslot all my FC's, beg somebody to sting me, etc., but that's not viable or reasonable - we're talking about a kill 10 for a daily, it shouldn't require more than simply going out and killing even level ships, which are stupidly overpowered.

Its been a major problem for this company since the start, and its been in overdrive the last few months.

Instead of just releasing new content, or new packs, that offer new (and ideally interesting) value, they scale back old value that was included free and start charging for it. Its lazy. So incredibly lazy.

A small part of my thinks that at this point, buying something from Scopely and expecting them to honour the value they promised from it is like expecting the drugs from your drug dealer to be as amazing as they promised. We should all know better by now. But I've been here for years now, so I know better. Not everyone has the same experience, so I keep that in mind. The first time I made an in-game purchase that ended up feeling really bad, I was rightly mad, and I distinctly remember some people on here giving me the 'first time?' gif and 'did you really expect better?'

So I have noticed there there is no ops 72 Klingon Battleships to Kill. The System Muirnia Shows that there should be Rom Interceptors and Klingone Battleships but they are in the systems backwards. The Roms are BS and the Klingons are Ints. I believe this not not correspond with what the system says it is. This System Ulvoran already has lvl 72 Romulin Battleships in there, and this system is labeled correctly. Is it possible for them to put the Klingon BS in Muirnia like they are supposed to be as per the system Identifier. First pic is Muirnia and the sencond is Ulvoran.
