FYI - I kill 55 vgers daily, no issues, same ship/crew.
However today, I target a regular 55 Vger Silent Enemy hostile & die. Looking at battle log, the regular hostile targeted turns out to be a Vger Orion Interceptor.

This is all about driving offline engagement, in the hope of retaining players to boost the value of the franchise (or increasing the value of player accounts as being more active/engaged, with a view to monetising them somehow) while the actual game is dying off… this would go counter to that …

Its Funny how the Unity Store has such great things to get, like Premium Dust and Recon Lotus building upgrades and other good stuff knowing that we can never claim any of it. Finally a Decent Event Store but Alas, No way to claim it.

Last night’s maintenance was supposed to be 3 hours and didn’t even last 1. No proper warning, no ship recalls, and players lost mining time because of it.

There was also meant to be a game update, which never even happened.

Today the game is running worse than before. It’s extremely slow, targets don’t lock properly, actions need multiple attempts, and error messages keep appearing. Wave defenses are crashing mid-run, and the game throws “no internet” errors despite stable fibre connections.

This is not a player connection issue. This is a server/client stability problem.

You cannot run timed events and competitive content when the game is this unreliable. Getting kicked mid-activity directly impacts rewards and progression.

Right now the game feels unstable and poorly managed. At a minimum, the game needs to function properly before anything else is added.

Maybe there wasn't meant to be, but the wording made it look like there was (announcement was later edited-removed the 'update your client or else' sentence). Also, just a tiny feedback - don't use the word 'recall' when ships are being reset to base. So many people are still confused by this, because when it says 'recall', players expect their ships to be home, but with the cargo the ships had at the time and count towards events/milestones/whatever. Some people know this 'recall' isn't the normal recall, but so many others don't and this small change would help avoid confusion in the future (to put it mildly).

@versed stirrup Just checked with one of our 72 player,s He has to kill 790 of them in the 70 system for this event If he does not use his Dauntless, His Dauntless Cant kill in the 70 system for long and will run out of juice long before reaching the kill number.

So the Event First Contact Recruit Pass, Are you planning on running this multiple times. 8K loot pulled from the Pass, 500 per pull from the Store gets you 16k loot for an officer pull but the pulls are 60K.

And Buying a 100 dollar Pack gets you 5K loot, for 10 more pulls, So now I would have 26K loot for and officer pull. Am I missing something here?

Can we please have the number of waves needed for the at task lowered. The game has so much loading stress on batteries that it is not helped that waves add even more. I personally have been booted twice due to lag because my device heats up way more in waves then anything else. Once you convert the rods, you have to use it for the currently running treasury. Always been the case, since the first treasury run.

correct me if I am wrong, but you have to use the rod in the current treasury, so buying the rod basically makes it so that you might not actually use the rod in time, so removing the option to buy the rod just makes sense from a playability perspective and of course, this makes it something Scopely wouldn't ever do because it just makes sense to eliminate a possible problem a player would run into (and have to get ignored by CS).

outpost event and no outpost officer fixes. more spend events. no more CoTA but wait re-release with a different name and no heads up, lag issues getting worse, new errors and old errors coming back from years ago.

New CotA is disappointing. Tightening the scoring options while increasing the points needed makes most of these events almost impossible without big spending. The rewards are only "ok" compared to new officer shards.

This is highly discouraging for the trajectory of the game.

Okay, mine just reappeared and I got the 1st tier again, instead of the larger 2nd tier. I should have gotten the rewards for getting to 34k, not 17. I already have the 40, I needed 60k

Oh great, Alliance tournaments is finally working right and now they will refresh it on the next BP, which means it will not only not work correctly it will also be a real Pita to do. I am sure they will get rid of my 1.3 million refresh tokens since that makes it to easy for me to get the tasks that I want. Scopely can't just leave well enough alone.

Yeah pretty sure alliance tasks will expect us to drop $100’s to complete the decent ones now going on scopely’s track record with these so called meaningful changes as they call them.
