I cannot complete the event (even to get 10 points) because you are NOT guaranteed at the very least a rare start every time you do a chest turn-in. Last run I barely finished and then didn't receive any directives. This run, I will be at least 2 rare starts short and only have 1 epic start. You need to fix the chest pulls to guarantee at least 1 start of the rares and any other is left to RNG otherwise, give additional starts at the beginning to players to guarantee they have the ability to finish the event.

I've had three reports of playing refining for Transogen, without it adding to our ims score. Including middle of the night where the score didn't move for 30+ minutes afterwards. So it's not a lag issue. Just the missing points i know of would add about 50% to our score. The total impact could be a lot higher!

I suspect this missing scoring also impacted stage 1 (where it's less obvious) and servers 403 to 405. Given how much worse we've all done, relative to other servers, than on the previous run.

All I know is we were on milestone 1 yesterday of stage 2. No pop ups, no rewards after milestone 2 was met during the day. Did my pulls that morning during milestone 1. This morning we were on 3 and I did my pulls. Got rewards and the mission complete popped up. Forget witch one, but still have the one for day 1 for stage 4 tht isn’t completed .

After stage 2 was done, I got final rewards. But that 1 mission is still there

The result is still chosen randomly, it's just weighted. It's similar to how the draft lotteries in professional sports work, where any team could win the first draw but some teams have a better chance to win than the others.

It's completely valid to argue that Scopely should disclose the weighted nature of it. That said, the game generally describes pulls using the word "chance" instead of "random" for that reason.

They aren't irrelevant, even G6 vets will often directly benefit from them. There are even 10k group tasks that require no grinding at all.

The UC exborg credit one just asks that you use your NX opportunity chips during AT time rather than whenever else you're doing with them. Hoard to win. The payouts from the exchange are the same either way, but hoarding gives you free AT rewards.

Completely agree. The Wok arc was too grindy but gave good rewards for the grind and the option for getting things faster than the usual 3 months. Instead of continuing that was awesome (which by the way made maybe the 4th time in however many years that I was willing to spend on this game), They kept increasing the grind and decreased the rewards.

While the current arc repeats the same aspects of the slient arc that made a lot of us consider quitting. And doubles down on the worst aspects.

Yes, but they decided to take that path away from those who buy the pack, which is silly from a profit incentive aspect. Just because someone buys the pack, doesn't mean they should lose the free path, it disincentivizes spending money, which is exactly the result for me, and leaving the free path open after purchase hurts no one. I wanted 2 and was willing to pay, now I'll only get one and spend less on the game.

But as soon as you build the ship you can ignore all transogen mining. Except epic. The free box and claims are way way stronger than the f2p common to rare refinery

Scopely needs to hire a person to write their surveys that knows how to actual make proper surveys. As someone who ran surveys for 3 years, no one in any real business would see the data from these surveys as anything but heavily titled in favor of the company.
