ALSO if your in your 30s and higher why are you even mining data for that event, just recruit khan or mudd crew, in outlaw and augment recruits, and mainly in transporter patterns. much faster and easier

Relax, I'm a player first and busy earning pts in the incursion. The other player was right, I heard the same thing about hopping to the opposing server can fix a stuck ship. If that doesn't work, there's a stuck ship procedure pinned in #👾-bug-reporting that's usually pretty fast.

Stop putting farming events with incursions. Or better yet stop doing incursions. They suck most players don't do them, and it's just level 60 players hitting down in swarm systems because of the event. Such utter waste of a cosmic clean up.

How hard is it to have an opt in feature and use a temp server, you just closed a few servers, and move everyone who wants to do it there? Let us lower level players who can't do anything against the other server grow and not be farmed. It's a huge negative play experience

I hate the way Scopely insists on matching 83 against anyone not remotely close to being a peer. 75 last time, 64 this time... probably 22 or 11 next time. God forbid we get matched versus 82, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, or 89... no because 83 is not allowed to have a fair game as in EVER.

We've been hard underdogs each time. The closest we matched so far they only tripled our score. It's literally the worst possible event. We are too out matched to compete and we also can't do the regular events because we get slaughtered if we are not shielded and in base.

Its still 1 day a month of pvp. 27-30 days of mostly pve grinding. If you ask me it needs more pvp, not less. Some players want pve, some want pvp and some ofc want both. Its only fair to cater for all peoples playstyles.

Yes, our server had great fun in this incursion. As did the opposing server. It was close and down to the last hour could have gone either way. Beleive it or not, spme people do enjoy the pvp. For the rest, there is the option of moving to a system lv19 or lower and popping on a shield for the day. So no one is forced to participate.

You should see the amount of community organisation and activity that goes on with the servers committed to really trying to win these incursions.

Yes, incursions are very, very difficult to enjoy when your server vs server matchup is awful. That's not an issue with the incursions themselves, it's an issue with Scopely being not nearly as good at matchmaking as they should be.

on ours it's more like participation on both servers was down to 20% or less.. and then it was only on their terms for a big chunk of the rest (i.e unless they could win the PvP match up easily they stayed in station). It's a grind most folks are tuning out of. The 'it's a PvP game' crew will say different.. but they are far from the majority on most servers, they're just channelling their wishes over reality.

I think those avatars and other similar rewards are only for top 3 to place in incursion slbs. One of my alliance mates got one this run, and I think you can still get them in future runs if you score top 3.

I sincerely think some of this is bound by the norms of the server you’re on: some are Farmville, some are Grand Theft Auto IV, and others mix.

It would be nice to be able to earn additional switch server tokens after level 10 so that if you find a server more to your liking (eg, more PvP) at Ops 29 or 42 you can do so. If they can do server crossovers for Incursions now, no reason to make it a norm.

I can save rss but that makes for a slow event - I'll just run out of buildings and research that don't require G3, and I can't get several of the ships available at my level until an event store comes round again

Just wait until even your para buildings take a couple weeks+ each. Conservative building is a real deal at that point.

It’s not a secret so much as they haven’t even figured it out themselves yet. Scrambling to get the code done. And it shows in quality. This game is 3 years old and still is basically BETA mode

@pseudo rune would be better to run and SMS for the whole month for UC 3/4* spend and get the full officer unlock as that way people can upgrade when they want and not feel rushed an penalized and do other non spend SLB's in the month for the rare's (Like armadas etc)

Sorry but this is just a terrible decision… last rss spent SLB was canceled, lots of player like me saved for it and couldnt score in it… but i thought, that i can at least get some other officer this arc in the slb event… now there is no such event…
Crazy bad timing, so the last rss spent event for a long time was cancled and no other event will come…

I’m not so much concerned about spend events per se but I would like a reliable way for my low level self to get the officers. There are still officers I will NEVER get because I was to low level to participate in the events at the time. ALL officer shards should at least be available through transporter patterns. It isn’t like that markup is so low that people would get everything easy and cheap.

Something up front saying what will be needed that is different then is kind of warranted for the community. People are getting frustrated having to stop and freeze nearly everything they do with limited resources just because they don’t know what events are going to need next.
Scopely seems to want people to grow ops and grow ships, but the events and how they are structured punishes players for not hoarding things until they are told ‘go’.
Take the last sisko event that was changed to not just being mat spending to being a domination event that relied on mat spending. People were punished for having ships to upgrade in favor of doing builds and researches.

But it has to be worth going for. Doesn’t make sense if the top spot is nothing more than a $99 pack

Buy packs, that’s how armada events have always been and why people started not chasing them as much, hence the new types of armadas and tying them to researches.

And what does this even mean. Pack says level four, but the mats given would all be soaked up on the unlock of the prime. Ok, so now leveled, paid, primes. Is it $99 a level? Does that pack somehow let you get to level 4 like the graphic makes it look like? Is there actually any info anywhere in the game regarding how these work?

Just saw in the Tavern, not sure how true it is, that they are gonna run a new SMS for shards. From what I understand, it’s kinda like an unlimited limit. Spend whatever you want and you can just go for the unlock, or spend more and go for t2, t3, ect…

The prime tribute packs are 99$ for each level, so 500$ for lvl5 and we have absolutely 0 information on how much reward we get in the chest…

nothing wrong with ultra recruit/etc. spend events as long as they're regular enough to be dependable - then people can hold on if they wish to spend during that event and if they're regular, you can still get new officers - instead of holding them for several months in case a random unexpected event occurs

Not only that. Im a lvl 35. I can spend $100 and buy a armada pack, launch a armada, and have a vindictive lvl 54 come in and destroy me before my armada is finished.

@pseudo rune Also side-note before changing SLB 's so everyone is not caught of guard/frustrated, maybe asking what the player base want to change in SLB's might be a good start so people can plan instead of just guessing what's happening next/hoarding.

I dont like them too, too unpredictable… one you win with 30m points, another you dont win with 40m… if they bring another type of event that is more fair and reliable, i would appreciate it very much…
But for now, we have a cancled slb event, and now we dont know if they bring them back next month…

Plus, I haven’t seen anyone my level try to beat a rare or epic. Will be curious to see if its possible. I spend about $200 a month, if the direction of the game changes that doesn’t allow me to unlock officers I won’t be spending that anymore.

Well, that's the issue. Events that keep you from actually playing the game, like Ultra recruit, spend SLB or armada spend event or upgrade specific building (like Treasury upgrade second run) is bad.

People shouldn't postpone upgrading their account just because some event requires them to wait.

depends on the level - the longer I stay at lower levels, the more likely I'll come top getting the officers in SLBs

No, Im lvl 35 and have every officer unlocked except Darwin, Tal, Mavery, Hemmer, and the three new ones.

Yeah, but every day you dont upgrade ops, youre not getting better rewards from events, refinery etc.
