If the event today was to replace the Sisko/Miles event that was unceremoniously dropped/missed this last weekend... it should include Miles O'Brian. Running an event today is a suboptimal but acceptable solution for the missed event.... But not if it doesn't actually replace the missed event. 🤦‍♀️

Jesus guys! The canceled recruit spend event was supposed to be sisko and miles. Now it’s only sisko? And now it’s gain power? Are you freaking kidding me? Your event planner needs to be fired. This entire month has been nothing more than a constant let down. Most of the fixes were even shady or a let down.
I saved my mats for today expecting the same canceled event would take place. Nothing was mentioned the style and prizes would change. If I new that, I would have dumped my mats for the one that just ended.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but in a future update would it be possible to automatically award transporter patterns if the indicated officer is maxed? For example, my Mara was maxed months ago, but every Sunday the Threat from Beyond events award more Mara shards, however, the 7 day chest gives patterns for Keenser who is also maxed. Why one and not the other?

They award TP but the client cant show it, so it shows as 0x shards but you get 75 tp per rare shard

The moment of upgrading all base turrets to 49 after that is ops 50 is here, i already did all vaults and drydocks. They take lot of uncommon and rare gas, more than 48s. I worked on timing so that I could blow it on the announced materials auction of sisko and obrian.

Power-wise power from 49 is more but not as much of an increase vs 48. The curve of power doesn’t increase as fast as the materials. The turret power continues to be bugged so I can’t actually do the math. Also power-auction requires finishing the building while materials is just to start it.

I finally have the opportunity to go to town with materials and get a good auction position and you water down my chances with this fake-domination event. Not only you moved the goal posts, they went from being a huge rugby kick goal to being tiny archways of croquet.

So i guess how i am feeling, 🤬. What I really want you to know:

If you have a strong epic ship or a unc level 42 ship, bring your ship plus Cerritos to Kronos, do a few rounds of Klingon ( not the heavy) transports and you will finish it faster. Just bring pmc crew and boom you don’t have to spend all day with attacking hostiles.

Playing during incursions, talking with people from the other servers (especially in relation to finishing server milestones, since that gives you a good idea of how many players are active), looking at the huge difference in discord populations. There's no way that a server who didn't finish their missions IMS is the same server health as a server that finished it 4 days in advance.

Every server has a bunch of people who don't want to be on discord lol, ours included. Quite a few 😅 Doesn't seem like the % of people who don't want to be on discord should be that drastically different, for 3 consecutive incursions 🤔 not to mention ims/players experience. The last few we've had PVP systems that look like territory defenses because 60 some players from our server have just been sitting and waiting for hours to get their defensive sms done because they can't find anyone to hit them (or to hit)

The three day shield was good. The arc was not too bad (we have had much worse) the “spy” event is fun as were the missions and the “who said it? “ event. New officer sourcing was good. New Star base research is good. Gailia nerf was bad as is the starbase 26 error. Overall DS9 part 1 was ok. Grade C

Every single refine in bonus refinery has given me less than a cheaper, normal refine so far.

250k bonus g4, ~60 uc mats.
100k normal g4, ~100 uc mats.

Same story with g3 bonus, but in that case 12k refines have always been better than 150k bonus so even worse. How this is a "bonus" is beyond me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Swarmadas are so trash, including the rewards and horrible input, that the participation is beyond horrible (About 40 players in my server). Rare directives as input AND the refit only serves to help swarmadas which no one does. I know this was thrown in as a filler event, but it's in very dire need of an update or two.

@uncut forges <@&509691205798592532> @wanton copper Please extend MY appreciation for all of their efforts to improve the game with new storylines, features, ships, officers, etc. I acknowledge there were some "issues" again, but your efforts towards the betterment should be acknowledged and encouraged to continue. For those planning the path of the game, allow for more QA/QC. I recommend selecting some player from various server to play on a pre-production server. I recommend cloning their accounts onto a PPS to experience it and provide feedback and not just a few players, a bunch. Look for players on all servers and build a network of individuals who will provide more than negative feedback. You already have the <@&509691611903426561> helping to provide community insight. If a selected player's feedback isn't constructive, thank them for them time and bring in another until your PPS players are providing the kind of feedback that you need to smooth out the bumps.

Yes I work in IT. I also know there are a goodly number of players out there who are retired and that would love to be a part of a team helping to improve the game.

Not sure if it's still normal practice, but it used to be that most MMOs had a 'test' server, that players could voluntarily join and play on - with the risk of the servers being wiped and reset and progress lost - but with increased xp gain or the sort to keep people up and testing at the right portions of the game.. EQ at least allowed players to run their own /testcopy command, that would clone their main account to that server to play around with new features/etc.

Warcraft, world of war (ship, tank , warplanes) , eve online etc. Public test release servers , closed test servers. seems only for scopeley its not. but this in sense a crappy mobile game and not a AAA MMORPG. they are just lazy as long as the money comes in. if it stops coming in they will just close shop and rename the game. after wich u see another facebook ad with gameplay that is so far from the real thing its not funny.

I doubt CBS would be associate with a "wam bam thank you" type of company. If our collective "positive testing" suggestions are actually heard by the Scopely officers/direction setters, then I have to believe they would see the value of such an environment. How they employ it....eh.

Take away ANY PVP scoring during Incursions that comes from the constant hitting of DEAD BASES. The PVP board is FILLED with people that have only done THAT instead of actual PVP

If the resources gained are not over a certain total, nothing should count further toward any score.

We are being raided while online with no notifications, no shown damage to ships nor to our base until after we've lost billions in RSS all while actively playing and watching the system/our base. Or you can get at least some officer shards with Outlaw and Augment officer chests and then mine up the rest. The fast mining nodes are generally better for the event, you need to watch the BB anyway so you might as well be on the active mining duty.

EU had to do a Faction Hunt as their incursion event, and that means your ships need to crewed for PVE, in faction systems, easy kills for the opposite server. Or spend tons of mats for tiering up several ships. Yet we did it if we wanted the rewards...

at the time I took the screenshots about complaining that we did not get all points for the - Celestial Prospector - AMS

• Celestial Prospector - ALB we mined 135k+ collisional plasma, but we only had 25 mio points in the leader boards. 1 harvested collisional plasma during the event was worth 250 points. 135.000 * 250 is already 33+ mio. but support tells me that we received all points that we should have gotten and treatens me that if I open the ticket again, it will get rejected.

I never left the alliance, the only thing that was different was, that we build the star base when the event was already active and did not have it when the event started.
specifically for the event I bought a pack for being able to build the star base and to compete in the event, and this is how scopely support thanks the playerbase.

I quite enjoyed this incursion and generally didn't have lag issues. I'd prefer the 4 x 12 hour invade/defend event be replaced with 2 x 24 hr invade/defend. I'd also like some type of capture and hold mechanic similar to territory capture so you have a way to score if the enemy just doesn't show up.

I really want to like Incursions or at least dislike it less, but it really is not my play style. I am used to being able to get on and execute to a task like a hostile daily or mining. I couldn't do cosmic cleanup on Saturday because the moment you went to kill hostiles anywhere, a player from other server would kill you. I did all my mining and dailies prior to event reset, and then waited until next reset to do them again. There's never going be a 'perfect day' to have incursions run, and you'll have to prioritize winning incursions, over doing dailies and events that day. thank you.

Frequency doesn't matter, if I can miss an event for incursion preference, you can miss an event for incursion preference. If you don't want to miss out on the event, do it instead. Again, there's never going be a perfect day to run incursions where it doesn't interrupt something happening that same day. If you're not affected by it, someone else will be, so it's either you win and they lose, or they win and you lose. You will never be 100% happy with it, and there's absolutely no way that everyone will be, if you want a date to never interrupt anyone's events, it's never going happen. Also, incursions fell on day 1 of Apex for USA, so you're not the only one affected. I may be able to just recruit 10 officer shards and be done, but not everyone can. Try mining data when people are hitting any ship on your server that scores damage dealt!

Scoring is screwed up, imagine that. The new Jen hostels don’t count towards the mission kill requirements. And for a while normal hostels were counting until I got about halfway through the SMS event. I’m stuck at needing 400 points for the third benchmark of the SMS and it hasn’t moved despite killing dozens of hostiles, the same hostiles that I got points for up to this point. It’s like someone just turned off the switch for the SMS scoring. I’m still getting AMS scoring that drops down below the chat box. I’m not seeing a scoring for IMS either.

this event is bad designed. milestone too hard, new loop where we need time to understand how to get directives and only 3 days for event. We need time to understand how big lvl of armada we can start for most efficient event progression. I'm lvl 43 but i cant kill 43 dominion ship because i have only 2 decent warships. And i think many players do the same - we usually dont upgrade a whole fleet of warships. But lower lvl of dom ship didn't give me enough points to make good progression. As result - we cant finish this event.

I think removing spend SLBs and making the new officers available to more than a handful of players on each server each month is a good move that helps even out the gap between F2P players and those who spend. Imo the recruit Tendi was the best officer sourcing we've had so far, some events a bit tough but all doable without $ and engaging. Though I also agree with others that it's super annoying to feel like you need to hoard everything for when an important event that couldn't be completed at all without hoarding is randomly dropped, which can be months apart and some of this months events definitely don't seem to be doable without $$ 😅

I like the bajoran element - but as it’s a rip off of eclipse there is inevitable comparison and once again, Scopely, you are expecting more and more time from the players. It takes multiple full cargo bays to reach the required value for chests, nothing like the much lower eclipse values. You mark my words, you will lose players over this constant creep on how long you need to play the game. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to solo a 43 armada with my best 3 ships (a valdore(t3), jelly(t4), and aug(t4)) with my best crews (including a full synergy sisko) and 2 ships supported by a Cerritos (on top of which, the SHIELD RECYCLING DOES NOT WORK!). SO NOT ONLY DOES YOUR MECHANICS NOT WORK, you expect me to solo a 43 armada EVERY DAY for the event which means I have to do a 2/3 batch turn in EVERYDAY! This is unacceptable and is breaking the game. I am NOT wanting to play at all. I am not excited for the solo armadas anymore. I liked the idea but with your current sourcing and current requirements, it is not fun. You are penalizing me for not maxing out a 34 epic and not having a second 42 ship. I can finish my dailies and run ds armadas just fine. Where is the fun in this? Especially when I need the 4* uncommon to advance and I can't because I can't complete your unrealistic goals!

The only way I can complete it is to skip upgrading my station/research and tier up my ships a few more times and for what purpose...spend 2/3 months saving up mats for ships I won't be using in 2/3 months if I push for a 46 ship! The development team has no clue what the common player goes through. And I am not a ftp player, I spend...well, I used to spend money on the game. I have not since the mantis has not been announced as a ftp option.

There is almost no useful communication coming out and that is 100% on eco. People can blame scopley upper management but he is the voice of us to them and he can say more, he chooses not to. He chooses not to fight for the community. And that is his chocie.

The bugs are getting worse. More ships are being 'locked' in every system. The capital systems normal transports are almost all broken and you can't finish dailies off them and have to go into deep space, which essentially eliminates sourcing for the 4* ships. The mantis ftp path has still not been announced which is the ONLY sourcing for the new officers. There is no ftp path for the new officers this month (not even in the elite battlepass), more and more game mechanics are failing (like shield recycling), they are changing officer abilities (the new ds9 officer abilities) and not making announcements about it, how many events have not worked correctly, they are constantly changing events, without notice or announcement, the ticket queue is weeks backlog, and I can continue.

Also like to add… numbers don’t add up! I’m using both 5 of 10 and Geordi to increase loot payout.. I would like to second 53s only average about 1.2 million loot with my setup. If I’m lucky that’s 3 days for 1 pull of the uncommon chest.

The 56 armadas absolutely require 3 massive G5 ships at least T2 for warp requirements. I can kill the 53/54/ and 55s but they don’t all have uncommon loot. If they did that would make some of these Milestone requirements easier. But at ops 55 this is just silly!

Oh and I tested 56 uncommon armadas with basic G5s two won’t kill one and even assigning a nova for fodder won’t help. It actually hurt my damage output.

53s payout around 1.4 million per so correction….roughly 5 days of armada turn ins for 1 loot chest isn’t what DJ described. Only way to tell what I get for a reward is do an armada and then check the faction store.. 2.7 to 4.1m for 1 armada. Again the loot amount paired out does not match this.

at ops 46 it is not doable unless you are extremely lucky with the reset of your shop (22h cooldown of shop option vs 24h of event duration).
Since we all have a RL where we need to get things done, for simplicities sake, I'll just assume that you can access the shop option only once within the duration of the event.
Max amount of Bajoran Badges I can purchase withing 24 h, 3 chests @109 badges each, gets me 327 badges.
Max amount of Bajoran Reputation I can purchase within 24 h, 3 chests @150 Reputation each, at a total cost of 500 badges, gets me a total of 450 Reputation.
at ops 46 I need 5.000 points to finish the event, which means 500 reputation.
So a) I am not only short 50 reputation, but b) I also need an additional 173 badges left over to even get those 450 Reputation in the first place.

All, while I understand what Scopely did to fix todays reputation event. There is a big problem with it’s fix. I was one who bought my daily allotment of reputation prior to the fix. And while it is true that I will be able to complete it prior to reset tomorrow, it means I now have spend double the badges to complete it compared to those who didn’t do it until after the fix. This matters because we also need those badges to buy directives and favors, and now I will have 100 less badges to spend compared to those who completed after the fix. To make this right, Scopely needs to send 100 badges to those who completed it before the fix or they have to figure out a way to complete the event for those that did it prior to the fix without requiring those people to buy reputation twice to complete the event. @wanton copper

Will admit, the way the Bajoran rep was implemented, it punishes ops progression with more grind in a much worse way than the Rogue reputation does with its rep progression. You move up ops level, you get punished with higher credit turn-ins you might not be ready for. At least for the Rogue one, you can stop the rep progression without affecting ops progression.

Because the announcement regarding the messed up rep event wasn't made until more than 18 hours after it began, I (and I'm sure others) spent most of yesterday evening's Bajoran token pull on a double load of rep, only to now be told it wasn't necessary and a single rep bundle would've sufficed
Because of this, I couldn't get any directives yesterday and based on the level of solo armadas I can realistically take down, am now left in a position whereby it's impossible to complete the solo armada SMS event

Alternatively, the solo armada SMS event should be extended to allow players adequate time to work around yet another avoidable and unprofessional Scopely cock-up

It’s bad enough you screw us by not giving us an in-game explanation that we can only choose one of the three collaboration options to spend on, then you go and pull this BS in the store.

We have one refit (at this point), which requires 75 shards to unlock but you can only buy 5. Last month you could buy all 75, but there were three to choose from and some players chose to buy one or more of the other two which are no longer an option.

it’s this kind of stupidity which is making a lot of people question why they still play this game.

Why does everything have to be so complicated to the point where players make bad choices not because of something they did because of something the game designers did and/or didn’t do.

with this game it seems like you take one step forward, with a pretty decent event store last month, and then three or four steps back with a 💩 event store this month.

at least the people who are screwed by not being able to complete the event because of poor communication have the consolation of knowing there isn’t anything to spend those rewards on.

You should leave feedback to Eco. To me, there was enough in-game information to guide the decision in how to finish the event. Those that made a mistake will find that it wasn't costly, a couple thousand chips, and that they would recover some of that in December whereas those who all-in'd on a wrong spy target will lose everything. Moreover, they will have learned a cheap lesson for future runs of this kind of event, especially if the consequences for a mistake then are far greater.

I went all in on one officer as that was what the event required. But really not sure how anyone was supposed to any clue as to who is the correct officer - and I can’t find anyone on our server who has any idea. I like the concept of the the long ‘identify a spy’ event but the communication overall and how it’s been executed has been woeful.

spawn rate of the new hostiles is terrible. We spent an entire arc getting a new set of anti-hostile crews that are specific to hitting a type of ship (e.g. use an interceptor to hit battleships). So I load one of those crews, go to the new system, theres 3 of the target ship types there, I kill them ... and i'm sitting here for 4 mins so far and no others have spawned. Try to hit another type of ship and my ship gets wiped out

The layout of the new store is also confusing. YOu have to take hostile rewards and scroll down to row 2 to trade them in, then scroll back up to row 1 to change those for tokens, then scroll down to row 5 t trade those in

2. Why bother trading A -> B -> C -> D. Why not just make it that you trade the hostile stuff directly. Just an annoying process that doesn't need to be there

Whenever they’ve given us the opportunity to provide feedback through a survey or through something like a content creator gathered feedback I have suggested over and over again that they reconsider the pricing on their packs.

I’ve played other games and very few have the vast majority of their “packs“ (or whatever that game calls them) at $100. Most of the games I’ve played keep the purchasable content at $20 or less. Not everybody has hundreds of dollars to burn.

When I’ve spent money on this game it has been to buy packs that were $20 or less. Those smaller purchases will add up, especially if you have more people actually making purchases, which can happen when the things they’re purchasing are affordable to the majority of people.

A perfect example of the poor choices when it comes to packs are the Bajoran Enlistment Special and Bajoran Faction packs they currently have in the store. Both of them are $100. Both of them have the items that players would like to buy, the new faction currencies, plus a whole bunch of other raw materials and speed ups that we can get through other means. The enlistment pack has more of the new currencies than the faction pack, yet they’re both $100.

I’d be willing to bet if they put out a pack, with just the new currencies and nothing else for $20 more people would buy it than they would these other two packs. And if they made this $20 pack have no limit then the people who do have hundreds of dollars might spend their money buying a whole bunch of these $20 packs instead of whatever limit they’re allowed to buy of the $100 packs. But instead of trying to get a few bucks each from multiple players they’re focused on trying to get a lot of money from a few players. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Then again, given the subpar quality of this game there’s probably a lot of people who wouldn’t buy packs at $20 let alone $100.

I was doing dailies. Unlocked the rods from hitting hostiles. I know the game had cool downs for who to pick. I seen new loot and wanted a couple of each for officer pulls. Problem is, 23-29 can get maybe 20-40 rare directives a day if they're incredibly lucky and UC directives don't score.

Really disappointed/frustrated by the lack of officer slb's this month. For me the most enjoyable part of the game is managing my resources and figuring out how to spend them efficiently each month. It's extra salt in the wound that as a Pilum owner I was expecting to have a shot at the new officers. Hard to enjoy a game when the rules keep changing.

Without the spending event its actually difficult to start more research without having to hurt my game and spend mats for nothing...whoever is in charge of the arc this month has a poor understanding of how dolphins and ftp players engage with this game and plan their progression using events.
All of the complaints in here, bugs withstanding, seem to stem from choices made by the person who planned this month's arc. (Event scoring metrics, event timing, officer sourcing, and event rewards have all been indicated as being within purview of the arc runner in the past.) I understand this person wanted to try something new, but in the simplest terms, this arc has, thus far, been awful in large part because of these choices.
Not being able to source the officers without spending makes the arc feel like a cash grab. Combined with subpar events in terms of scoring, time required for completion, and generally lack luster rewards from those events and there is very little point in engaging with this arc. The changes made by the arc runner this month incentivize dolphins and ftp playing to not play, and therefore to spend less or nothing.

This is the first arc in my 3.5 years of playing & spending that I am purposefully not engaging with the content of events. Love the bajoran loop, hate the event structure & payouts. I engage only where it makes sense & keep my powder dry for pt3. So far pr1 gets an F, pt 2 is looking like a solid D & that includes high marks for bajoran loop.

I’ll add that this will be the first arc ever where I did not source every officer. I’ll be passing on unlocking dukat as this sourcing method is not to my liking at all.

The lack of SLB spend events after taking one away last arc shows just how little you listen to content creators and your customers. Ducat sourcing is too expensive. I like the idea of a fixed payout- if you pay/grind you get the officer. This month is pay/grind/pay more and IF RNG is poor then you get to pay even more. 20 for $100 BP, 23 from BP, 27 from events =70. Then buy elite Legate decree for $100 and you get 10 more shards . $200 and still no unlock. Is this officer worth $400? Please add more chances to get Ducat shards- spend auctions or some way to grind for them.

Some feedback on this. Taking out the Material from the sourcing event is crazy. Its not like Armada Directives are easy to source; the way this is planned is super horrible. No swearing, no threats… I screenshot when I posted and have re-read the original post and I can’t see any issues with saying this runner shouldn’t be used again because the direction it’s gone in is terrible - scopely has done the equivalent of opening a steakhouse and wondering why the vegetarians aren’t coming to eat there. I’ve spent thousands in this game - literally thousands and I’ve always felt that at least I knew what I was getting and could make an informed decision. As for constructive feedback, I loved how the event store last month had a high influx of chances to spend / earn skins and cosmetics. I don't mind the whole revolving store mechanic, but I feel like we've made the store too restrictive this time around, with little to no espionage events to get rods.
Personally, as we move forward, we should have more of the events like last month with a store like last month as well. I had f2p players happy they could unlock cosmetics. I was able to get the Disco refit when I didn't have the time / money to get it when it first came out over the summer.

We joke all the time that Scopely is only looking for the money. And it is true for almost every company. So it's important to understand for the company that they will lose a lot of money if the events are kept this way.
Let's imagine that today a "normal" spend slb would run. A lot of people want these new strike teams. The whales would buy packs regardless what the event structure is, and i guess even more with the slb, where there are going against each other.
I'm not a big spender, more of a little little dolphin. And as such i don't want to be FORCED to buy a pack. I want the option to increase my chances. But even though i would love to get these officers, i won't go buy these chances packs. And a lot of people will do the same in my opinion. So Scopely is loosing a big amount of the middle tier spenders which ads up.
If they wanted to try something new, which is a good idea in theory, they could do something like the heroic sms style for the officers, maybe even together with a slb. And let's say this sms some kind of "acquire 500k points with the normal spending point system for 5 gul dukat shards" (needs to be adjusted for different ops levels of course).
I easily see people buying packs to get that officer to t2 or higher.

So i don't think the event runner had the intention to screw the player base, but if the events and especially the officer sourcing will stay that way for this month, Scopely will lose a lot of money. And that is something that should be interesting for them.

This battle pass is one of the most boring disappointing set of events for me. I’m level 32 and can’t spend huge$$. The events offered me require huge resource investments, like 800 rare armada directives, to get 1/10 of an officer. I don’t have 800 directives and the only reliable way to get that many is spending $100. Which I won’t/can’t do. And the other events require maximal resource spends for a minimal amount of lat and recruit tokens. The expense/reward balance is just not worth the effort. Even the time requirement is just unrealistic. To finish one event I would have to participate in 46 armadas. Even at 7 mins per armada ignoring repair time and resources that is literally hours of required play. This is supposed to be fun not a job or vocation. I’m gonna start looking for another game. This game for me is like Eve echos and second galaxy. Not worth the effort and I’ll be moving on soon

They have paralyzed the smarter ftp players into not doing ANYTHING until an event calls for it, so now they are mad players are saving up all the various materials and special resources like directives and ultra recruit tokens for events and making them into a joke when they release them.
Every time the ftp/low spend community makes headway, they have changed the events to take away whatever advantage being patient has awarded those players. This is just the logical next step, the flat out admission to pay or get out when it comes to new officers.

What is even more funny the lame rewards for doing the event. At least at my level. It won’t even cover repairs

True enough but god I’m a former programmer and I have pride in my work. This would just eat at me. It’s like they don’t even play their own game. It’s like someone working at a ping pong table manufacturer and despising ping pong. I guess this is why I’m a former programmer. Couldn’t keep my mouth shut when asked to produce poor product.

There are games where the devs play, play regularly, care about the product, and interact with the community. App games apparently aren’t those, not even close.
It’s grab money, grab it fast, and when people stop spending, shut it down, who cares.

So I'm not against variety for officer events but this one just seems so bad I have to question who vetted it and why they still have a job? It's almost as if someone looked at the amalgam refinery and said hey, let's build an event with the same mechanics, it'll be awesome! Meaning "ca-ching $$$$$" is all they thought about.

Armada event.....with 0 effort, again, to improve directive sourcing and now adding an entirely new type of armada into the mix with again 0 sourcing. Guys I know its a business but when nobody is spending in protest there no profit, people will spend because they want to, not because they have no choice. It's like you guys don't even read any of the feedback, oh wait, you don't which makes this discord completely pointless other than damage control.

Same with the change in espionage events and the half baked event store concept with 0 communication or explanation prior to launch. Content creators got the word out within an hour, it was 5 before scopley said anything by which point most had already made the mistake and got shafted. And we're only 5 days in.... Sorry but no. DSN part 1 was mediocre at best, part 2 is downright awful, I have 0 faith for part 3 or 4, if I even make it that long.

I was getting ready to jump to 41, now I might just cash in and let my server clean me out, there's no joy in this game any more. It's just 1 mindless grind after another cause it seems like that's all scopley knows how to do anymore. It's star trek guys, you have 1000 episodes of content to pull from, maybe its time to go back and learn your market and audience.

The idea that the moneyless society as shown in Star Trek, except the ferengi of DS9, odd coincidence that, has devolved into a $$$ driven game is really sad.

And face it after they messed up latinum as the in game currency with latinum mines they needed another currency to force spending to participate fully. It is obvious that new currency is armada directives. At least for now. And as wonky as it is incursions have generated more team participation than anything. But it will get stale and ossified like territories.
