its been a long running bug on some servers that affects some of the voyager summoning systems. you can't summon there, nothing you can do but go to another system and hope its not broken. chalk it up to another scopely bug they are too incompetent to fix

Indeed, it is frustrating but we don’t insult people (other players, community volunteers or staff) because it’s unnecessary (and against the rules).

I appreciate it’s frustrating and I can’t wait to find out I’ve got the same issue in a couple of weeks but is important that we remain civilised. Remember, nobody wants to be somewhere where the atmosphere is nasty and unpleasant. We can be disappointed, expect more and still be nice to people 🙂

`Quality Focus rather than Quantity

A big focus for us in 2024 will be on quality, rather than quantity.

We have just had a year packed with exciting content, events, and features. We released Fleet Commanders and Wave Defense, to mention just a couple. We are massively proud of the impact these have made inside the game, but we also feel that it’s important to recognize that we may have dropped the ball in other places.

We are happy with the gameplay of Wave Defense as a feature but the performance and issues at launch fell below your expectations (and ours).
Other features like Artifact Hall did not meet the quality bar we are striving for and we have since worked hard to remedy some of the issues (more to come for this in 2024).
For next year, we want to ensure that we release fewer but more exciting features so we can deliver the best kind of experience you all deserve.

We can and will do better.

Lastly, we will also do our best to engage with the recently created Player Council so we can get early player feedback on many of these features which will allow us to make changes and adjustments as we develop them.

A lot of work goes into these big features and we hope this direction will improve our game in a meaningful way that you will appreciate.

<@&509690795536941056> First of all thanks for the rapid deployment of a comp chest once the MU bug was fixed.... now to the constructive feedback, This chest was not even remotely compensation for this bug.

Let me explain with some math. We get 1 start per day on average, a full run in the lower level MU wae nets 5000 currency (we can ingnore the liquid D for now but that wasn't compensated either). Further the use of the currency is to open TIME GATED rewards, which many of us haven't been able to open for a week? more? The compensation chest doesn't account for lost progression towards agony chamber, or other rewards.

AT A MINIMUM the compensation should have been 5000 currency/day it was down OR MU Wave starts (since there is a max cap these weren't accumulating), and really should have also included liquid trellium D

hope you can see why this compensation chest didn't even come close to compensating the loss let alone providing a feel good "we're sorry"
