Scopely needs a rethink of match ups. Puts me off playing this game or even investing $ into it.

Match up is impossible. Scopely baked mismatch into their server system by the very way they set up and started additional servers. If they really wanted a match, they’d set it up by player level, and let players who join choose one of the factions to join. Then it would be faction vs faction, not server vs server. Server v server doesn’t really fit the Star Trek paradigm, but faction v faction certainly does. That way, it’d also be whales versus whales, and mid-level versus midlevel - a much more satisfactory construct than whale dominated events. Plus, players just not interested would be left in peace.

I hate the fact that you bumped 43, 192 and the EU server and were missing out on valuable relay items to build our base. So when we switch to battle different servers, 43 has level 1 subspace relay and we can play against someone who has a level 6+ relay. THATS A LOT OF HULL BONUS AND CAUSES AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE. They're really good at denying problems you report like not scoring properly in events. They are trying to convince me pulling Ultra recruits with 16-18 mostly rare and epic officers was only supposed to score me 20-100 points. How did I get to a 100k score up to that point? Are you telling me I pulled Ultras 1000 times? Terrible terrible terrible. This event is terrible. Their customer service is atrocious 90% of the time. You get bounced around from one person to another. They don't read what you put into chat and come back with an incoherent rambling answer that answers nothing.

I observed a 56 lvl player (30M ship) hitting miners on a lvl 25. Miners were from 450 to 700K. What is the object of such event? Blowing players ships that can not retaliate?

Yes but whales should be ashamed of hitting such low levels. Daily's were difficult to complet. Ikilled all my 49swarms, but on lvl 45 threre wasa 36M ship, wiping all players in on e system,then switvhing to the other 35 swarm sistem. Since Iplay on a pc has to change systems as soon as he appeared. They were also on the chipher event plants. Used D'vor to com plete it.

Cross Server PVP is Cr-ap. 1.) Scopely didn't even give everyone coins to go to the other server. 2.) To many didn't seem to read about what was happening. We had to many unshielded sitting in High Level Zones UNSHIELDED.

some time ago i was checking 1 Extra research Queue. when i checked what i have inside that box, i saw 2 tokens... i bought it thinking i will get 2 tokens for research (screen shot is attached). how i didnt, i raised case with support. they said, this is just a cosmetic issue? i can accept that, but i wanted my money back then. because i didnt get what is presented on description of the box. support refused refund, and they refused to give me one more token... guys, i can really understand this was a mistake from graphical designer... but why this has to be my issue now? if i didnt get what was presented on the picture, then refund me take back what was given... all good. but dont ignore this problem like nothing happened...

I actually agree , despite the pack description being 1 extra research, if you show certain rewards inside a pack and that’s what was purchased then what is shown should be given even if it was a scopley screw up after all scopley won’t reverse a screw up in an accidental purchase of something in the game. Well I can officially say I’m really not happy with this incursion event. All I want to be able to do is get on and grind away, focus on the missions, get my dailies done and so on, but thanks to this being forced on us the game is now utterly unplayable. I can’t even take a survey ship out to mine for 60 seconds without being target locked and fired at. As a suggestion going forward, maybe designate an area of space where if people want to take part in this “event”, let it all happen there. So those who don’t really want anything to do with this can continue to plod about happily and those who want to go whale hunting and cause chaos have a place to do so. Just my 2 pennies worth…

Im sure it was a successful event, but you lost a lot of business also, because people are less willing to spend when they see the few free stuff they are supposed to get dont work. Fix the free stuff, and more people will be willing to spend to get more. Its up to Scopely how it makes use of this feedback🖖

Fair enough you have to pander to the wallet warriors but the vast majority of people who play this game are not interested in who's got the most money to spend on ships etc. Some of us live in the real world where money is actually spent on trivial stuff like food and heating. Fine they think it's fun but we don't this incursion is just a "look at me I've got loads of money" if you run this Mickey mouse thing again spare a thought for the normal players give the wallet warriors an arena and leave us to get on with the game we enjoy.

I also didn't get any conduits and completed all prep events. I ended up having to buy conduits which I can assure you I will be requesting a refund as the servers were so poorly matched that my competing server refused to partipate, so in no way did I get the experience that I paid for.

I put a ticket into scopley customer support and they simply gave me a stock answer of "they were in events" and closed the ticket immediately leaving no time for followup.

I have submitted multiple tickets to customer service over the last few months for various issues. Every single time they respond and close the ticket immediately meaning that you cannot reply in any way and have to start the whole ticket process over again. I manage an IT helpdesk and quite frankly it's appalling customer service, tickets should be left open for a minimum of 24hrs pending a response from the submitter, no point making it look and feel like a chat box if you're not actually allowed to chat.

I think it is time to narrow some of the PVP bands. I think players in the 50s should not be able to to kill players in the 30s. The argument that the 50s don’t have enough players to hit doesn’t hold water because there are now enough players in the 40s

There are other options to make PvP more fair:
Only allow Ship-Combat between ships of similiar power level (exclude miners as targets)
Limit the type of ships that can be used against a lower level player. Like 46 can't use a Pilum against a 42 guy

I'm not entirely convinced it is a 'PvP MMO'; it has a PvP component, but it is probably better classified as a 4X game (Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate), which doesn't necessarily have PvP as the defining component.

@tacit obsidian Scopely has to i crease the worth of territory bonuses, especially since it sells 100€ packs for them. Getting base penetration or 25 % base increase in ship weapons is barely worth mentioning. ISS is so difficult to tier up and so slow to grow that it never becomes better than enterprise or D4. So you will be selling something worthless until you decide to make these bonuses better. Say, an overall percentage on weapon damage, penetration etc

With incursions in game and raid fights being a centerpiece now, pvp targeting needs to be looked at. This saladin was 100% untargetable. Clicking on it brought up the planet, and no stations had arrows to it.

Edit: the planet may have had an arrow, i didnt think to check. Still though pvp targeting needs to be looked at. The priority hit box is way too large for stations and planets

For real, this isn’t “real” pvp, this is a numbers game. Who can grind/spend the most. Period. Anyone who plays this for pvp is doing it wrong. Either that or that get picked on in real pvp and want to thump on this.

Pvp in this game is really just who can bully who the most. Otherwise folks tend to leave each other alone once they figure this nonsense out. (Really, a timer?).

True pvp should have skill involved. In this case it's dedication or paid ship stats. For every whale showcase event. There should be another type that scores and let's folks lower lvl or new to game participate. Being food for whales isn't participation. How do you expect to draw in new folks or incentivize current players in p2w policies.

I find the recruitment pulls lacking. For example The Exclusive Barclay Recruiting I'm only receiving 1 or 2 shards similar to a regular Pull from other Recruiting packs.
Secondly Scopley should bring back lucky pulls as the counts are lacking when comparing how much 4-5000 ultra or premium token cost in store.

Nothing Special about it really when you look at it from a player perspective.
