This bug was there from more than 2 years, thousand players experience it. Asking helpdesk to unstuk is not a solution, the solution is asking developpers to solve this bug. That's the role of this chanel, report bugs to developpers and give feedback. Not have a paliative solution.
Today i can not connect more than 5 min, as it append each time there is too much players online, this is because of not suffisiant ressources, this is not a bug.

Just want to report I am the latest victim of scopely's "shield application doesn't ping the server" glitch, if that is a glitch, and not a design choice. I often send a help or open a box after applying my shield, knowing this issue exists and has existed for a long time without a fix. I happened to not send a help after applying a 4 hour, and closed my laptop lid two minutes later. I came back from a short trip to the store, about 20 minutes, to a vaulted base, but my 4 hour shield up, with 3 minutes counted down. I don't want my RSS back, I just want shields to function as designed and described. Thank you for reading.

this is and issue. during CoW gold trophy gave us a 25 points per one for AMS. its a 30k points from one player during 3 days. for middle powered alliance its at least a half of all points for CoW AMS.

Every time you guys introduce a game update, it breaks something else of a serious nature.... you guys need to start running a Beta server rolling out these updates a day or 2 before and testing the update, making sure it doesnt break the game in process before being released to the general public
and that will ALSO offer you a QA process, making sure event wording and scoring are correctly displayed

You need to make sure the request is received to the server by opening a 10 min chest or sending a help. Otherwise if you just close the app it might not get sent.

I set the sheild as I play if it goes down while I'm playing I reset it. Then when I'm done playing I verify the sheild is active then go do what ever I need to do.

Yep. If there is a shield failure you write a ticket to CS and when they don’t believe you. You enforce the fact your shield was up and show screenshots if u have them and they will give you tokens in return

Yesterday I've activated the protected folders feature of Windows Defender on my Laptop.
Can anyone from Scopley please explain why this morning I had a warning on Defender informing that the file prime.exe (the executable of the game) was blocked when trying to access the folder %userprofile%\OneDrive\Documents on my laptop???

That folder is on the root of my C: drive, its empty and don't even know what it is used for.
But even so, that's bad design and goes against privacy protection. On Windows the default folder to keep user data for applications is the appdata folder, the developers can reference it by using %appdata% or %localappdata%.
This way the applications don't need to have access to a folder were the users keep their private information.
Giving access to the documents folder is not an option, if the program can access the folder then there is nothing I can do to stop it from scanning my files on that folder.

If your system is set up to use onedrive as the default documents store, which out of the box Windows does for you these days, files that write to that directory like this app will access that folder. Pretty much every application on your PC that saves a document or game profile settings would have access to the same folder, but Defender likely doesn't recognize the app as 'good' so it flagged it.

I just looked out of interest and my Documents folder has over 300 sub folders from years of various games, programs, etc. in it.

Microsoft even created a default "Games" folder on the user profile folder, to give the game developers a place to store they're game data. That's were you will find saved data for Microsoft games, for example...

Shards only give you a fraction of an officer, you'll need to collect a lot of them to unlock the whole officer.

Why does the notification for 'ship being attacked' have such a delay ( it can vary from at 10 minutes and up ) ?
I mean:

1. • if it's designed this way it makes no sense , because it doesn't help the player much.
     In a logic of things - as a player it makes sense to be alerted in real time, so I can act - in real time.
     Otherwise, I'll see it eventually - but no need to "alert" then.
2. • or, otherwise, if it's a known bug - then is it worked on?

If you mean notifications on the mobile that has always been an issue and it's very device dependent. I do get notifications on the old device I have in seconds while my main phone might take hours to get any notices. It also seems to vary if the game is running in the foreground or not. But I have recently seen where my base getting hit in game didn't give me any notice that I was attacked until a full 2 minutes after my mobile did with no on screen indication it even happened, so no way to repair, defend, etc when they came back with the same lack of client notice. That to me is unacceptable.

It used to be a time, roughly 3 years ago when I started playing this game, when they (the alerts) were popping in real time.
I didn't change anything from my side: I.e. the device is still the same.
Granted the OS got updated , but so was the STFC.

I don't know what exactly is going on, but almost all of my ships cargo area is greyed out and unable to gather resources whether it's after battle ore mining. Uninstall the game completely I've also tried rebooting my my phone and my tablet a clear localization didn't work either

Only one of them is actually working. I've swapped them out with other ships I've changed their location nothing fixes it

I have all the screenshots as you guys need to prove this. I lost 23k uncommons that scored 1.26 million points with that change. My score after the change spending more uncommons is 888k. Is there going to be an individual comp? Server did not lose anything. Individuals did.

The Tendi chest had an invisible pt repair mechanic attached to it, and was only given to those that scored in the xslb. If you've already claimed all the tendi chests, then your issue is slightly different from others and still persists

Client to server synchronization warning. It’s not throughput, but fragmentation of incomplete packets being sent

TCP handles this just fine and you can see this by just doing a wire shark. They to your point can handle this warning much better

Peanut, it’s not a throughput issue. It is client to server fragmentation. This could be upstream from your house, or service provider. The warning indicates a sync issue with the relational database and presentation system. It does not mean poor bandwidth.

It seems that Romulan scouts provide far better code drops and spawn rates compared to Klingon and Federation.
I was farming scouts in nequencia the other day and a scout usually spawned in 5-10 minutes regularly.
For Klingon, in Brestant, Gorath and Mempa, I have observed spawn rates of 40+ minutes, and about 50-60% of the time, the scouts does not drop any messages.
Several players report the same concern on our server. We suspect that there's a bug with the fed and klingon scouts.

That assumes all the 38s are equal, and I wouldn't start there since we know that while they are all mostly the same, there are notable differences between the territories, eg. Tygokor & Romii. You could collect more data by killing the entire sets of scouts and analyzing subsets afterwards.

That's something far too difficult to test because the rules for spawns, even non-scout hostiles, have not been explained nor explored.

If you want to, sure, but you're greatly expanding the scope of the study. Some questions to be answered:
What is the ratio of levels?
Does the existence of scout spawns affect this ratio?
Is there a timer on how often they spawn?
Why after entering an inactive system with no scouts in there, but killing a couple hostiles seem to "force" a spawn?
What causes a double scout spawn?
How much avg messages are in each lootbox per system?

I think that's asking a bit too much from players, and should be handled by QA.

and our main concern is spawn timers of KGN scouts vs ROM, and drop rate of messages is much lower on KGN scouts vs ROM.

Presuming you have some form of database that you can review, pull hostiles killed filtered by scout and pull the metric if they had a chest or not should provide sample size of thousands.

This should easily conclude if there's an issue with the code, or poor RNG

Do I get enough scout messages from a faction if I went at it?

Klingon scouts don’t give nearly as much as other factions. My last 5 strikes in Brestant system resulted in 7 yes 7 messages. That was on one ship. Meaning 4/5 were zeroes.

Getting stuck in combat, iniate attack on a hostile and when the ship arrives at attack destination it doesn't attack, ship not showing warp location but instead showing warp starting point when locate button is activated. That's just a few off the top of my head, there's more, fix your game scopely before you start adding more problems.

Only change, between then and now, is I promoted and leveled Nero a few times. So, the chance of success should’ve gotten better, not worse.

I literally lost 8% success chance for promoting and leveling an officer. That doesn’t seem right.

Like CR26 said autopilot missions unlock the faster road to the systems there is 2 more Autopilot missions 1 is Yarda which opens up 2 lanes and there is another one that opens 1 lane

You follow the augment mission chain iirc then once your in Duriana and Yarda you can do the autopilots for the shorter road

Click on the locked warp lanes to see what mission you need to do

Your just better off getting to DS

Your mining daily is G4 if you stay at higher rep without getting to DS which is tough

For some players, capital systems can work for quite a long time if you can't reach DS or if those alternatives don't work

Out of options? Then I'd try deleting all unnecessary apps from your phone, uninstall stfc, then reinstall stfc.

Its a server communication error. When setting upca shield, make sure to send out a ship or give an alliance help.

They can request their ressources back from scopely too

I think the same old bug with spok and armada is still here, right? can it please be fixed?
If you run an armada, spok dont use the def values of the own ship, it use the values of the armada leader for all ships!

The result is, you can lose an armada with a team, that you can kill solo... because the shieldreg is way lower...

this is a very old bug and it realy suck!
