Apple just updated its price tiers for app purchases and in-app purchases. Scopely did nothing in this case. Apple is updating the price tiers.
Every item a developer puts in store or in the app as an IAP it has a tier.

**❗ I think players should be informed that just because your base and your shield timer looks active, you may not be shielded and still able to be attacked. Scopely customer service has informed me that, I should take extra steps in making sure my shield is active. ❗ **

During last incursions, my base was shielded and in a lvl 15 system but still got almost emptied before having to activate another larger shield over the top to stop attacks. We all know the sync issues we all know this game suffers from, yet they refuse to help me and close support sessions without resolve (which would be free, and easy for them to achieve).

I am looking at someone acknowledging that I did nothing wrong playing my game, that an issue with sync caused the problem, and compensation of the 190,000,000 resources that I lost because of game issues.

failing all of that, just getting my resources back would do. It costs Scopely nothing, and is trivial to achieve.

Okay, good, we have something to work with:
Did I do something wrong? Yes, "I should take extra steps in making sure my shield is active."
Did an issue with sync cause the problem? Possibly, if you believed you had a shield up but the server did not.
Will I get compensation? No, the server's information is absolute and if there is no log there indicating that you activated a shield, then you did not.

Server sync is an issue, that's why it's a good idea for players to perform a syncing action, like sending a help or opening a chest after activating a shield. It's not necessary to ask someone else to check your shield.

It would be an issue of fairness if they gave someone back stolen rss when it's clear to them that there was no shield applied. To do that is to open them to doing for others. If you've provided no evidence(like a SS), then there's really no reason for them to believe you.

Scoring error in Faction favors SLB, currently i am in 21st place with a score of 145. i have completed 8 favors @ 20 points each = 160 points + 15 pts (3×5pts - 1 research i completed for dailys yesterday and the 2 i completed for todays daily) = 175 pts. I saw Shakaar's scoring pop up only awarding 5 pts , but was unable to get SS. Lucky for me it was a slow research day. Scoring is kind of important .

Instead they will believe a system that is obviously not working as intended. Also I happen to know of situations where they have already fixed this issue for someone else. So "opening them to do it for someone else" has already happened. I have provided plenty of proof of contradiction against the servers information, and have offered plenty more evidence, including the attack logs, which differ from the servers information. This information was considered as not needed.... hardly trying to resolve anything.

You’d think it would be easy enough for them to change it so the client only starts displaying the shield once it’s received an acknowledgment from the server, fixing this issue permanently. They do that everywhere else, heck even speedups don’t show an effect in client until the server oks it.

I did a solo armada with 3 ships, but didn’t get full bonus from 5of11 ability. 40% of 40k is 16k, not 6.4k. And I didn’t any bonus edicts, even though it shows in armada reward box.

Well the "broken hostiles getting stuck and never spawning" fix lasted less than a week. Do you guys even care anymore? This month's event calendar is pathetic, and all the bug fixes lasted less than a week before they broke again so fixes obviously weren't where the resources were going instead this month. There is no Actian system on server 32 that currently spawns Apex ships they're all stuck and broken. Have we reached the "milk the remaining players of as much money as possible before shutting down the servers" stage of the game cuz it doesn't seem like you're bothering to put any real effort into it anymore.

So… it’s been a while now… are we any closer to getting a fix for the stuck/dead hostiles all over? Actian hostiles are pretty much the worst right now and getting to the point where we will just need daily gifts to compensate for the rss we cannot reasonably obtain from them.

I’m just absolutely loving how I spend money on a mantis and stuff to upgrade it but can barely use it in there. Also same with officers that get bugged, don’t work properly, and everything else. Meanwhile new stuff gets added with the same potential of bugs that never get fixed.

Again, it really sucks to have paid for a ship (mantis), and the way to get the currency for the ship has been handicapped by stuck apex hostiles.

We need a channel for feedback. The last two months have added two new time consuming (and tedious) needs to farm hostiles. At a time when most players are trying to spend less time in game and focus on fun, this game development makes little sense. Maybe add layers or nuances to what already exists. Yer the hull and shield are weird recently. I see my shield down to 50% after a battle, but if I go to the actual logs it only dropped by 5%.
And the next battle did have full shield even though on screen it was still regenerating.

A reboot fixes it. I wonder if the script they are running is doing something.

Loot is apportioned according to power, then officer/ship bonuses are applied to the ship share, the battle report shows this value of the biggest ship here, then all the loot is dumped into your inventory.

Apex spawns isn't the first time we've had ghost ship issues, it's just especially impactful if we need to go after one kind of hostile. If you want to compare it to Gaila, then you should understand how easy it is to disable an officer's ability inside an armada. It's database flag that goes from 1 to 0.

Well Scopely covered its butt by updating the contribution description to say 1 point regardless of how big but its still a bug and no one that has been playing the game for a long time reads the description. Multiple helps works for me for daily goals so there was no reason to expect that the contribution event was suffering from this issue. 1 out of 5 stars for communication, Scopely.

We have had this for 3 -4 days now. You need to clear data and cache for the app. It’s not a permanent fix though, you will have to do it DAILY!!! Yep be prepared to lose tickets

I’ve had to delete and install the client to fix - clearing localization has not worked for me on iOS. And then after reinstalling, it only works one time before breaking again. Currently broken on all 3 of my devices since the patch went live.

yeah the 38 system no longer works on server26 ... you get a single explorer spawn every 2 mins, with no interceptors since it is stuck... the 37 system will no longer spawn interceptors only explorers.... and still getting failed to purchase errors from mantis.. so they either need to fix it or remove it and refund people... cause really it is garbage and not playable.... and just because of how long it takes to do this stuff for a single turn in. I am now refusing to spend any more on this game. seems to be the only message they get is if people stop spending..

You can sync your ship with the system to trigger another spawn. Easiest way for me is to move it to a different spot in space, or you can enter galaxy view and back in.

it seems the game gets more and more unstable by the day.. iam done with clear this reinstall change language etc i think it's time to fix things like purple mines it's more then a year now and the list keeps growing.... laggy all the time.... when daily refresh is there or the 18:00 hour one the game gets unplayable for 10 minutes or sometimes a bit longer. think scoply needs to use some repair speedups on there servers.... just throwing a thought out there....... and yes for the believers out there it's time to repair for sure

@stuck hemlock It is hard to not agree with you :(... The quality of the product decays with every new arc... Last Arc was the thing with Starbase not working (broken) for which we never got any recompensation (my alliance was affected more or less whole arc)... On older phones game is unplayable, there are tons of wrong numbers in game (like ship protected cargo in base / out base, underdeck officer calculation broken etc)... And that is just on client... then its whole server lag mess...
But I guess as long as stupid people like me keep spending money - Scopely wont see it as a big issue :/

Second: When I get officer XP from missions they will not be saved. I deleted the game and installed it again. Startet the game several times. I have always the latest update. Please fix it. Problem 1 you are confusing mycellium with its refined version. The mined one is in your inventory. The refined one can be used by your disco to jump and has a refine limit of 18k. once you have 18k stored it wont unlock till you spend it

I’m currently losing a battle with a ticket about points on the faction favors slb. During the event, I unlocked all 20 favors (20 favors at 20 points each is 400 points). I ended the slb at 405 in rank 5. I completed a lot of research during the event and should have had at least 200 points or so from that. I should have landed a reward tier higher than I did. I’m only asking for the difference in rewards, especially after having purchased packs to be competitive on this. They tell me all my points reflected. 405 points is not all 20 favors obtained during event and multiple researches. 400points alone is all of the favors. Getting extremely frustrated that I can’t even get the small difference as a compensation for incorrect point tallies. Especially after being told they were all correctly applied when clearly not.

Possible you are attacking something that completely outclasses you, mitigation has a cap but before you see an increase in dmg, all stats over cap have to be drained

So your numbers sound about right, but the problem is that there's still a large number of mitigation stat compared to piercing stats for 2/3, with a balanced weighting from the stats, so only small benefits are actually expected with these numbers still.

Try this when you farm Regs in Kronos. After killing a reg, sent ship towards the center of the system, exit to galaxy view and comeback to system view. You should find a fresh Reg at one of the 6 spawn dots.
Not sure why it works but that's what I do and I finish my daily really fast

You've taken out half of the mitigation stats, which unfortunately doesn't do much, but if you had 1 or 2 other Kira's in a group then you'd be able to zero or take them into negatives, and then you can start to get results that are better than 6 is capable of at all and it's then shared for everyone. But without the numbers then yeah, she's not very good generally.

Your client only shows the loot gained by the first ship.

When checking against your inventory you’ll see you got the right amount, boosted against individual ship loot bonuses.

For example Pilum and 5 (if on the same ship) will boost the Pilum’s haul, but not all three ships.

On server 135 we now have at least 3 systems that don’t work - L36 and L37 Apex are stuck and the L38 system has only one Chrysalis at a time, which does spawn the Apex but means you can’t consistently get Exocomps. I’ve had to give up doing dailies because I can’t get close to filing cargo without going down to the L35 system, which is too busy and would take far too long anyway

Don't know your setup but I've found a lot of times it's a latency issue when I get constant crashes, check your connection and see if it's worse at certain times of day, if it is it's almost definitely a latency issue during high usage periods

No, I’ve reviewed that with them as well. It’s occurred when I’ve had 100 mbps service and at 30 mbps and no latency issues. I’ve had it pointed out that Scopely uses Unity for their o/s and that is a known memory sucker when not coded properly for iOS. When I’ve asked they only suggest trying PC or android. I only have iOS devices so I’m not going out to buy a system just to try it out. But it’s curious they have pushed hard to go to PC some CS reps more than others.

for the last few days I have been in an open chat with Scopely to report a bug in which i never received credit for finishing the first core mission, "Doctor, Tailor....." then only 12 hours later one tech came on and stated that they did see i didn't get the final reward which was a cardasian crew member shard and gave that to me, but nobody since has corrected the original issue of giving me credit for completing the mission. So here i sit in the chat line cue with nobody answering me. I would like to have this resolved so i can start the next one, if it is possible?
