Just to say it absolutely sucks that during this entire arc at ops 36 I don't have any access to the arc event store. Whats the point?

The Arc stores are some of the best opportunities to catch up on Shards, Ship bps, difficult/slow to obtain resources. Not to mention flat upgrades like skins or beams.
I don't know if its purely GQ stuff in this arc event store because I flat out cant even see it.
What might otherwise have been an interesting arc instead I'm completely demotivated. Instead of choosing what I want and progressing parts of the game I want to progress, I'm forced to spend on a loot chest with a 35% chance to get the value of the points in a normal arc event store without even getting to choose.

The bigger joke is that it also has Mirror characters in the loot box. Officers I cant upgrade because I don't even have access to the Trellium D I need to promote them.

It really feels like I'm being pressured to rush through the ops levels just to be a part of the game this year. But I know doing so would mean leaving my ships weak, research behind all while trying to desperately scrounge 11 uncommon gas from the refinery to purchase a single ship component within a month.

The current event store isn't the usual end-of-arc event store. There's probably going to be a second part since this is labeled 'Part 1' in the news. I expect the regular event store will come then. This is just a store for the Invasion. It's not populated with all of the usual end store stuff. I know it's not great news, but at least you aren't as totally boned as you thought.

As someone who pushed ahead hard, my advice would be don't let Scopely push you too fast. Take your time and invest in your research and buildings before forging ahead. Otherwise you will end up like me: upper mid-tier Ops level but absurdly weak. The content will still be there when you level up.

And for this you will receive only 750 tokens for premium research. It is easier and cheaper to deposit money on these tokens. Can you tell me who to throw poop at for all this?

The non-mats rewards on these battlepasses seem to be getting worse and worse. 360 Mu creds at ops 49 is basically nothing, 700 mirror vouchers-junk, and don’t get me started on unc ship parts that are easy to acquire. Give us rare directives, xindi directives, premium dust, isolytic artifact stuff, heck even epic ex borg creds. There are a ton of non-junk items that you can throw in there.

They can only do it on Tuesday as that’s the only day without Territory takeovers - alliances would lose their Territory if they couldn’t score in their system’s takeover. And it’s not a weekly shutdown, it’s once a month, twice at most.

<@&509690795536941056> Couple of issues with the invasion event and the Fatu krey. One, the IMS requirements on many servers, including ours, is simply unattainable. We are like 11% done and so many people were very active yesterday working on it. Then we hear of servers whose milestone was so simple they finished in a couple of hours. The loot from this event is too useful to make it impossible to complete.

Second issue is the fatu krey SLB is perfectly tailored for bots. Since scopely won’t invest in any real anti-bot tools, people using them are going to easily win this slb in many brackets. Again, I don’t care about botting in general, it’s tacky. But in events like these with desired loot, it is an issue.

Having the new futa hostiles replace normal hostiles as you kill them is super annoying. Just trying to do dailies and grind ship parts and keep having to switch systems as all the normal hostiles get replaced by the new ones. It's making the usual daily grinds take much longer.

The new hostiles should be limited to certain systems rather than slowly overtaking everything.

The Chimeras are a bit underwhelming. It would be nice to experiment more with them, but in two pulls I got exactly 100 tokens ie. What I needed to launch one. Now that I've done that, there doesn't seem to be any option to get more tokens to launch more Chimera attacks until I've pulled possibly twice more (ie. two days).

The number of SMS and SLB’s that you can’t event participate in without spending is kind of shocking at the start of the Arc.

The only people that seem to be able to participate in the “Chimera SLB’s” for example seem to have spent (or gotten lucky on their first pull) to say nothing of the whole host of ship linked ones.

Honestly the fairly stable arc launch was nice, but this seems like another tone deaf arc that will see more people dropping from lack of interest caused by everything being linked to $$$ and none of the critical issues people are struggling with have been addressed

The whole chimera mechanic had potential. 30 second timer and one ship needed is nice. Only being able to source enough directives for a single launch in the last 2 days is garbage. Limiting the length of battle to 10 rounds is also garbage. I got one test fire in on a chimera with comparable power to what I can easily solo in standard armadas. Didn't kill it due to the 10 round limit and now no directives. Can't even reach t1 on sms that isn't marked "heroic." If you want us to engage with new content then you have to give us the means to engage with the content. As it stands this all will be ignored just like the whole silent enemy mechanic.

Galaxy Quest crossover was an unpopular idea. The Chimera pay to participate events are a huge mistake. Everyone should be able to complete the SMS without paying. Remove the cooldown for the Fatu scraps. Let players finish the events. This arc needed to be fun and rewarding- so far it is neither. Please reconsider your actions and start encouraging participation.

It's a recurring event. The event store will return every time. Eventually you'll be 40 and can spend the currency.

Every single monthly “arc” has been a backwards step and ignores what STFC once was, a community.

Sure you will always get players who pay to play but if it is the intention to end the game at least just say that the game is closing, instead of relying on the whales to keep it ticking over because the small spenders and f2p players will soon quit.

I was able to complete the SMS with 2 launches. it's based off the loot gained. make sure you collect the loot chests and make sure you watch DJz/Rev's videos to have an idea how to crew to maximize your results. I may have completed it with one launch, but I forgot to collect the loot chest until after the second.

Please stop with the continual arc grinds and new content! Two reasons, firstly, as your player base has repeatedly mentioned (and highlighted by the recent game crash) you need to spend at least a month fixing the back end code. Secondly, instead of jamming new content down our throats and selling $100+ packs to unlock stuff early, please look back at other $100+ content packs that just a few months later are obsolete and have little to no value. Mantis (other than syndicate xp), monaveen, Borg cube (until PvP and the pay-to-play cutting beam upgrade in research), are just a few recent examples. Wouldn’t it be nice to revisit some of those in future arcs to reward players who have spent the time in their respective grinds??? I’ve been doing the weekly evicerator grinds and am STILL at least a month from unlock. Nope, on to galaxy quest! 😖

While I do agree, "you can't please everyone" is an old addage I think we're all familiar with. At least Scopely has come out and said that they are gearing new content towards 40+.... the Scopley of years past would never have even let us know. Also, this content isn't geared towards the whales either. The 70 in my alliance was "meh" for the NSEA and it's refinery. Why? because he already has all the mirror research maxed from $$$. However that refinery is VERY rewarding for me at G5. Everyone's experience will be different based on where you are in the game.

I appreciate the availability of the new hostiles. Being able to find them in various systems does help for folks to be able to get the materials they carry and finish events and such. its a much better system than keeping them locked behind token systems

Fatu Kray hostiles in all areas are regular hostiles and kill as many as possible but the lvl 62s in New Bombay are in a hazard system and it’s a much more difficult process

Fatu Cray spawn in more systems then just the flagged ones. When they spawn in G6 systems you are gogin to be subject to hazards, but I think there are g6 systems that DON't have hazards and soem may sawon there. I'm only 57 so I don't have visibility into what systems out there have/dont' have hazards. @twilit adder not true. whiel I'm pretty neural on the invasion event, I am very apprciateive of teh NSEA and it's refinery. super easy to grind the raw omega, and a single refine gets me all the stuffs I need. I love this, Scopely embedded a required item to participate in the events in the event store as a refinery option. And since I missed the refine option yesterday, I cannot participate in today’s events. If we are supposed to refine for benefits isn’t it logical there should be a new refinery tab? To me, the event store is to accrue loot and buy what you think you need. It is not for unlocking new content.

According to “normal” armada math I should have won easily. I hoped you’d learned your lesson from your recent mirror universe rift token stinginess, but apparently not. Personally, I think the idea of the invasions is a great idea. But, they should be using it more like an event structure instead of just forcing new content. Personally, I think waves should have been the same thing. Rethemed based on a season or event. Mirrorverse part 2 could have been "wave hostiles have changed as new threats are being assessed by section 31." Same directives, new things to spend on. That way, you save the code straining to have multiple currencies.

Invasions could have been an event theme. The idea would have been Week 1: grind invasion hostiles that take over systems. If Invasion Health is > X percent by the end of the day, more systems are affected with less loot. If < X percent, less systems with more loot. Week 2 would have been introduction of the Chimeras and trying to defeat them. Week 3 would have been the "last push," wherein both styles of events run. Fatu Krey, yes, but you could retheme it as Borg invasions, 8472 Invasions, a Faction War wherein one side gets a juggernaut that needs to be defeated, Worms, so many different ideas that could have been re-themed for a 1 month arc structure. And, you can still fit in new content and updates to officers as you go along while balancing the meta for it.

Same with Alliance Games, War Room, etc. You could have months devoted to a PVP as well as a PVE aspect to keep both players happy, but instead, it's cramming more down our throats in hopes the whales will just pay for the answer. Eventually, you'll only be left with the whales if you keep that up. And they will eventually get bored no matter what you throw at them.

TL/DR: Instead of reinventing the wheel each month, how about we have a toolbox of event structures that make the game more fun for everyone, PVP and PVE alike.

please make sure you are utilizing the content creators. DJz and REV have both posted videos for this content that told you specifically these are NOT armadas.... armada crew abilities will not work. many hostiles abilities will not work as these are also NOT hostiles (I call them not-madas, not-tiles) you have 10 rounds to kill. Try using OG Pike/Moreau/Janeway on the bridge. Below decks Neeliz/Torres/Kim all work but etroi, hugh, and Chapel do NOT. The PMJ combo is confirmed working and seems to give the most literal bang for the buck.

I used to enjoy this game but because of all the glitches bugs ( which I’m still experiencing just as bad as before) it’s killing the fun and enjoyment of the game. An armada event on day 2 is an absolute insulting joke of an idea for your players. This is by far the fastest way to lose more players than gain money. This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen especially since you can source once a day and maybe get 30 directives each pull.. it’ll take me 3 days to get enough to run one armada.. and by that time the event is over. This could have been a great event, instead we've got people leaving left and right because they made it pay to play, didn't give us ANY directives for the event, and have the bigs annoyed because they need millions of the currency from the fatu to get one chest, while those of us at mid levels end up with millions we will never be able to use because of the stupid cooldown. a. first the event mechanics in the event "Chimera Hunt - SLB" (Hostiles suddenly give points) and
b. now also the event description (added Defeat 1 Hostile | 1 pt).

This arc is totally ridiculous, Scopely need to tone down requirements. For me as fresh 61 with Baby Ent D,, to get 105m scraps I need either 1200+ kills of 54 (84k per kill with loot crew) or nearly 100 trips to hazardous area, and You probably need to do this twice to get enough for single Chimera. Saying that this is too much Time/effort/repair cost is massive understatement.

Try fresh 60+, you need 105m sccraps, possibly twice for single chimera armada and getting enough scraps for single refine is twice as much time as completing everything else in game, and we were already complaining that amount of grind Scopely is adding every arc is unbearable. And btw for me it would take 4-6h of grind to get that 105m scraps given that i need 1200 kills and can do about 5 kills per minute with loot bonus crew. Or 100 trips to hazardous space which would have insane repair costs and even more time spent in warp.

On our server where the 99.9% of players can't reach G6 space we would need to hit 268.473 Lvl 55-57 hostiles or 434.383 Lvl 52-54 hostiles to complete it. Let that sink in, even if it's split half for each, that's combined around 400.000 hostiles!

You have forgotten many and too many players in your calculus: an IMS event needs that every player plays the event as a big family (Toretto approves) even if in Day 1 only 24 players have scored in my SLB and in Day 2 and Day 3 I have not reasons to hit Fatu Krey hostiles.

Fatu Krey hostiles provide few points but few points multiplied by 100 or 200 or 1000 players are many points...but in the real world I have not a reason to hit them because there is not an event and event store with one chest per day does not give to me the reason.

For the Sarris invasion fleet event, please consider implementing at least some of following changes to smooth the issues that the events currently have:

• Fatu Krey Hunt - SMS should be a daily, so running on day 1, day 2 and day 3 and not just day 1. That would promote killing the Fatu Krey hostiles on each day, as we need loot from them each day anyway, and would help servers with reaching IMS and invasion % targets.
• Chimera Hunt - SLB is, due to unfortunate change in scoring, no longer about starting Chimera armadas due to low 7 * 100 points per start. It turned into autogrind all 8 docks in Texas / Augment space. The tie-breaker mechanic of killing hostiles is now actually main scoring. The scoring for Blue Particle Accelerator should be drastically increased to 100 - 1000 points per one instead of 7.
• To help with the Sarris Invasion Fleet - IMS, sourcing more directives would help too with scoring more points for killing Chimeras - perhaps the Fatu-Krey Scrap Exchange should have guaranteed 100 directives, with the additional 50 and 100 directives chance roll staying as it is. It is hard to get any interest in Chimera armadas (which are neat design) when people can only run like 1-2 per Invasion.
• Sarris Invasion Fleet - IMS should be re-evaluated and milestones decreased for most of the servers, so they are able to reach them. Some of changes here might help, but not sure it would end up in pushing scores to completion on 90+% servers.

This might have been said before and probably lost in seconds but I would say the event spawns are far too much. I'm sitting in Mempa, the system I do my faction dailies in. There is not a single hostile that is NOT Fatu-Krey.
If I was able to clear them up myself to then get to my true objective I would... but these hostiles are 3-4mil strength, while the native hostiles sit at 1-1.2mil.
I have no ability to kill them, anyone strong enough to kill them won't be in this system normally and no-one hunts for event hostiles in normal systems because of the dedicated spawn systems that are much more efficient to farm

The situation is the same in all the handful of systems I can use. 90% unkillable event hostiles and maybe 3-4 normal hostiles who get replaced by event hostiles once I get them, at which point I need to abandon the system and try elsewhere

First we have an pretty unrealistic “Saris Invasion Fleet - IMS”
(I question if most servers were able to finish all the milestones on 63 is pretty active and we fell short”.)

Next we have non-Armada solo armada hostiles we don’t have starts for we can only get them from a time locked refine for linked SMS and SLB’s…

Then Scopley removes our ability to refine the “Fatu-Korey Scrap” we were forces to collect so maybe we’d have some non-Armada starts for the Chimera’s and we are left with tens or hundreds of millions of a new resource players wasted countless hours collecting on an Arc there is already allot of pushback on, to say nothing of the bugs, lag, and lack of Communication..

the 1st part is a guess there is no clear path to get the right path and at least 3 3 choices so chances to get it right very small

I am not sure if this is deliberate. My part 3b mission (the last part, defeat Mudd) of Omega 13 leads me to Leone which requires warp range of 24. But I just got op15, and with the correct officer, my max warp range is 21. I don't think 24 is a decent number for op15 players, or op10 players, because the event is supposed to be available for >=lvl 10 players.
If the location is randomly spawned around my base, then I advice maybe next time add a warp range clip according to the player's level : )

There doesn't seem to be any form of simple system checks in place for this mission - so you might have to contact support to see if they'll auto complete your mission. Though in your case I suspect they'll tell you Op up and get a new ship

I think the trivia event was meant as a way to get additional attempts at the Omega 13 event. But it was busted, so they just put additional attempts on a 13 minute timer instead as a workaround.

Please do something about the event store cooldown, I have another 52k eye patches to spend on bp and I’ve hit a 22 hour cooldown. If you wanted to limit purchases you should have just set a limit on how many one could buy, a 22 hour cooldown is kinda ridiculous since 1) most won’t have any eye patches to spend right when the store opens, and most people have a life that doesn’t allow them to be right back in the event store 22 hours later

It is, by far, the worst arc yet. Some of the least thought-out content we've seen from a game company that ignores its community over and over again. To dump all over a massive portion of the players because they're not ops 40 yet, OVER and OVER and OVER again...it's a mistake. Level 70 players were level 30 players once, and if you had screwed them the same way the chances are you'd never have gotten level 70s in the first place.

To clarify, I'm ops 55, I've got content and ships and events to engage me. Sure they're poorly coded junk, but they're there. You keep shafting the lower levels and you're going to run out of players to make content for eventually. Only need to rub two brain cells together to figure that one out.

Not sure if this has already been answered but if your Omega 13 mission step spawns in a token space that you do not have access to what can you do? I tried to restart the mission but both missions exist simultaneously and when I get to the step with the existing token space location, the second version of the mission disappears and I'm stuck with the existing mission version that is out of reach

Might want to give a warning with the Omega13 quests... they apparently spawn the mission points like q Trials. I have an ops 15 player based in cita laga that can't reach Leone where the last part was placed. They lose out because of bad planning and a lack of knowledge.

Attempting a work around right now. My guy moved his base to a low system and took the Omega 13 Mission again from the gift store. It restarted the chain in the lower systems. We now have two mission chains going. One at Omega-13 Part 1a and one (the stuck one) at Omega-13 Part3b. We are hoping that the new chain takes over at that point.

A "feature" of the event is it wont go away. Complete it and youre prompted to pick up a new key or whatever it is and do the whole thing again. No rewards the second time naturaly.

When the second chain came to match the first... the second chain was deleted leaving only the original and still out of reach. Worst mission setup i've seen

Im an lvl11 player and can not complete the Omega 13 mission as it requires warp 40 !! Most low level 20s would struggle with this.

the warp range needed is based on where your station is.
it uses systems near your station, so if you placed your station near high-warp or token systems there is a chance the missions end up out of reach.

you'll encounter the same issue with Q-trials soon.

so make sure you move to a system from where every system within 2 warp hops is within warp range and unlocked.

my alliance member got their spawn for step 3 in a system locked behind the superhighway and he already talked to support and they gave him the generic response on how the mission will restart and closed his case.

He started a 2nd mission and when he arrives at the same step where the 1st mission is stuck, the 2nd mission just disappears and all he has is the 1st stuck mission.

Also 81 schematics would allow you to upgrade the building only if it was level 20 or below. While the Away Teams event did give more Section 31 transmitters total, it is still nowhere near enough to be actually useful. At least the Trellium Mining SLB has enough District 56 building blocks to be useful since the building is still new and if you place high enough

Having two different hostiles grinding SLBs on one day is terrible planning. Lower level players can really only dock Trellium by hunting hostiles and then to add a rep grinding event in... hitting the 2000 hostiles happens easily. Remove or increase the limit. Put an obvious counter in somewhere. I didn't know yesterday at hostile reset that I'd need to track it today so didn't take note and ended up hitting the limit well before today's reset. 😔

Given the hell we go through with instability and bugs galore, is it really a good idea to be putting in more cross-server features given the history of poor implementation for such features in the past?

Clearly Scopely do not care about their audience and are just ploughing on with putting in more money grabbing content nobody has asked for.

Well....I claimed a Borg Epic solo armada task......killed 2 of them.......then went back to the task page and clicked on collect.......and it actually worked. Then I did the same for a Dom Rare solo armada task,,,,,,,killed 4 of them.......clicked on collect and it worked. I am OP 28. I had seen a simple "kill 10 swarms" task and I picked it up. I killed 3 swarms and the task disappeared. Now I am stuck AND I only and exclusively get "gather 6* minerals" tasks and other things I cannot do in any way. I have rerolled a dozen times, I keep getting tier 6 tasks as OP 28.

Even if i spend thousands of dollars, it still wont allow me to use rare G6 until I get to higher OPS !!! spending $$ just allow you to gain stuff, not spend it. This is a common problem...rather than us having to guess what you intend to score for the alliance events list them out. For example, if only spending credits on particular things will count say so. If uc commander skill points means those to be refined into skill points for a particular commander say so. You gave us 3 attempts and yet seem to expect us to waste them to figure out what scores.
