You get a daily pull of syndicate xp straight up, and you can get syndicate xp in daily cheats with free research, plus the mantis refinery has syndicate xp. Even if you have only the daily syndicate you should be able to finish it in the 7 days it runs.

Yep, missing the Inside Information - SMS as well. All of my alliance is between 30-60 and some have it, some don't. I tried to collect my Syndicate XP to see if it would still register although I didn't have the event showing, but no go. This was after restarting/repairing.

as a f2p, i find those variable milestones and other stuff pretty rediculous. Just because you got a prime to make something easier/faster doesnt mean that an even should get automatically harder.
One reason why i dont trust scopely RNG.
For the FC Recruits for example, its a 50/50 chance between Spock and Kirk, but for weeks you get the one you already have, mathematically impossible

The ATA RNG has usually seemed the most reasonable of the ones in the game, but I've made had decent luck. Like low orbit flyby maxes out the crit at 40%, but with a maxed pilot seems to crit decently often.

Although I find it silly that the stats bonuses apply only on ships, ATA doesn't seem to give the officers the stats bonuses...

Stats bonus from ships not applying to AT missions makes perfect sense ... you aren't on a ship and therefore don't have all of the addition resources and protection a ship has to offer. AND ... if you were to assign them a ship then that ship and drydock would also be tied up too for up to 3d (no think you)

Neither research research nor building bonuses say "stats bonus on ship" the modifiers are to the officers stats, not as a part of them being assigned to a ship. Granted there are some that do only apply to bridge crew, although oddly those are in the Away Team research

The bigger thing it means that as long as the officers are the same level they provide the same value no matter if 2 players are 20 ops levels apart...granted moving the needle for a player 20 ops levels later requires gaining a lot more resources.

Can you do tc battlepass events that small alliances that don't own territory can do? Small alliances that don't fit in to territory can't keep joining tc battles perpetually

Gotta agree with this. Smaller alliances do not have the territory rss reserves larger alliances do (I'm in a top 10 alliance on my server with nearly 100mil of the basic rss needed to join, but we've always had zones. I imagine much smaller alliances have nowhere near this.)
Considering the cost to join 1* zones all day, even just for that day, would be a significant drain and they will run out long before the bigger alliances will.
Imo, this arc's events have had no forethought put into them.

Having the Friend or Foe ALB be all in the same systems regardless of level does make for more excitement in there, but for the upper levels it's more or less impossible to accomplish much. A 46 being able to hit ships all the way down to 30, for example, means there's a lot of people who can't spend a lot of time in there. Or they can get chased a bunch, which makes it a little difficult to be sending a HF every 30 seconds...

i remember in the past the timing was perfect for hopping in and out of the systems.
i'd send my ships into the system, HF, recall, cancel immediately after they go to warp, and redo.
the timer reset just as the ships started returning to the pvp system, reducing the risk.

I used to think that there was no event that players would hate more than Incursions until the TC trailblazer event. Players feel forced, smaller alliances do not have enough ISO1, whales grab and drop territories for points at will leaving them unavailable, and because of the aforementioned lack of ISO 1 even if a smaller group managed to get a territory, it can't afford to activate any services. Essentially ruining the value of having territory at all. If they quadrupled the points earned, it might work but right now staying 30 seconds in a territory with whales engaging is a challenge.

This territory event is ssdd. It’s at the point now that nobody fights. Biggest alliance sits the nodes, smaller ones float for points. Scopely you HAVE to change the rules for territory. Reinstate pvp banding to introduce even a small amount of strategy (currently it’s king of the hill exclusively). Allow alliances to join as “Allies” and score points on behalf of a “Contesting” alliance at a reduced rate. Everyone here says it’s too expensive to join so make it cheaper. Simple things to try and resuscitate a dead boring event.

Right now territories reach steady state when top 5 stop moving around. This idea is intended to add another possible element of strategy to TC. Currently the only strategy possible is $ due to the rules Scopely has implemented. Imagine the $ alliances having to actually care about diplomacy to prevent 10 angry smaller alliances from banding together to overwhelm with ship points without holding a single capture node.

What I like about most things in the game is that you can be done with it and move on.

Territories is just a way to screw over the smaller alliances, and with alliance reputation, merges cost more.

I think either Scopely doesn't get it, or they completely do.

1. The one event everyone praised last month was the heroic armada event. Removing solos from it's scoring is terrible. 2) The officers offered are now obsolete because the Freeman-Lorca-HG Worf Crew steam rolls them and there is no sourcing for Freeman ingame.

This probably won't do anything to change the way scopely operates but I figured I'd try leaving feedback instead of just saying nothing.

I spent ~6k 3*uncommon materials and maxed out the event last weekend, pulled all my chests and got 4000 of 4800 required to open the full unlock. It's like they took all the positive things praised from the Voyager arcs (full unlock for heroic recruit events, can double down for more tiers without needing to go ham on slb and compete with whales, heroic mada events using any directive types, Voyager ship actually being a pretty decent g4 and can be earned entirely f2p, artifacts being fairly useful and not overly difficult to get) and just pooped all over it and threw it out in favor of whatever disaster this arc has been. At least I can say that any money I have spent outside of the usual $20 BP has gone to a couple of things not arc-related. My stance is: if the arc is trash, I refuse to buy anything that shows I support it.

its not random mate, it works like this: last person to score becomes top of the list. This rule holds true if you are F2P. If you are a spender you adhere to this rule: highest spend (lifetime) will appear at the bottom of the ranking, least spend at the top. The whale rule is subservant to the F2P rule, so that given a whale scores after a f2p, the f2p will still remain at the top. This is to promote spending, as scopely know if you spent a lot, you got the money to buy your way up the ranks. so expect all tied rankings to look like this: R1 last F2P player to score, R10 first F2P player to score, R11 least spending P2P, R20 biggest P2P whale (in a 20 rank tied slb)

I know there are a lot of complaints about this event. I think I have a compromise. If Scopely runs this event multiple times over multiple days so FTP can get one pull while whip-buyers can get multiple pulls, I think that makes everyone happy. You can appreciate FTP players grinding their butts off to get to the second to last milestone, and then not able to redeem that currency for anything being very frustrating, I hope.

My maxed lvl 60 Feesha can mine ~1M concentrated Latinum with the optimized Ferengi Crew in Tarna (lvl 55), thats the highest CLat system with the fastest nodes..
That means I need to mine over 7 hours ! to reach the top milestone....

The once a week join takeovers is fine, if like me, you are in a large alliance on your server - but for the majority of players its very difficult/impossible to complete. There needs to be alternate scoring in that BP of some sort to allow folks without a shot at TC due to wars, alliance size, or timing to still complete the events. Again, I have had no issues personally, but its HORRIBLY designed for most players. A simple secondary scoring mechanic would probably resolve that.

The whole point of it is to cause more fighting and scrambling for tc. If people want to try and finish these events they need to take the lesson and start condensing up into alliances of actually active accounts on many servers, instead of alliances of 40+ accounts where a chunk are inactives or passed-on abandoned bases held onto for padding numbers.

While we have seen some groups do just that, what we are seeing more of is people leaving the game. Scopely keeps trying to create more pvp in a game with some of the worst designed pvp parameters/rewards I have ever seen in decades of gaming. The powerbands allowed to hit eachother are pitiful, the game-breaking officers add to it, then you have the complete lack of real rewards for pvp action in the game (even incursions, which is a pure pvp day has horrific rewards compared to the effort). The only reason most people do pvp is self-satisfaction, revenge, or trolling in stfc these days. The TC redesign hasnt really influenced much extra pvp in our server as scopely has yet to resolve the core issues with pvp in this game, it needs a complete redesign, each fight should have risk on both sides (even hitting a miner should have some risk), and there needs to be real rewards for the activity that help you grow in the game (besides the silly PD leaderboard) 🤣 .

Anyway, point still stands on the TC BP events, the scoring metric is not attainable by too many players and alliances, add a secondary metric to at least give some players a reason to try (you can make it difficult). Soap box put away, lol.

This TC Trailblazer event, besides having some of the poorest rewards ever and being almost universally disliked, suffers from the same problem that many limited-schedule events do. Players are frequently unavailable when they need to be. Once you have a territory, your alliance is essentially limited to very few opportunities to compete unless you give up a territory, which makes the whole thing useless. Players are universally going to be shortchanged a few times if their schedule conflicts in any given week. Alliances in the past might plan a give-and-take over a month, and players can negotiate their schedules to participate. This format doesn't allow for that. Players are being forced to accept being shortchanged with no recourse. That's not going over well.

I completed this weeks Trailblazer event in two takeovers: a 1-star and a 2-star with 5 ships at the 1* and 4 at the 2*. It's definitely doable, even if you might have conflicts in the week (but couple that with not having 5 territories, and any others, and yes, that can spell doom).

It's doable if the big dogs let you score. Otherwise all ships are kos, and it's a slog. Would love another way to score points on none tc or 2 and 3 star territory days, even if it's partial. For us not tied down to a single territory.

Cloaked ship especially amalgams (for duration) do score with no risk. But what we usually do is allowing other alliances to register to "compete", lose the takeover but score, so everyone is happy.

The Cat Doctor events are a real problems to me.

• The initial Material spending event resulted in 4,000 / 4,800, leaving many players wondering which trap was it.
• The lat mining event definitely so high so as to "strongly press" players to buy the whip. 4,400 /4,800 after hours of mining without whip.
• The syndicate XP thresholds are also high so as to again try to force players to spend one way or another

This is a deceiving, stressful experience which will leave many players with useless tokens ... and those who succeed, even without spending will not be pleased for the stress they endured not knowing how and when or which new "spend your bucks mate" trick they'd have to expect. Again it could have been OK with some communication ahead, but as it is it just adds up new reasons to leave the game.

So how does this PVP event work? Mine is use Jelly/Franklin/Turas in Cita Laga for PVP and must be attacker. First, the attacker part seems not to be true. I was attacked in a Turas by a Turas and got 30 points after losing. Second, do both players have to be in one of the listed ships? Just the attacker? Just the defender? If a Turas attacks a realta and wins, do both get points? Neither? If a Realta attacks a Turas and wins, do both get points? One? Neither? Could this be any less clear?

Recommendation. Either reduce the cost Borg event store or drastically increase the payout rewards for currency. With removing the SLB for character shards and not replacing it with another officer is brutal. Not to mention top payout for the top SLB is 6 epic shards. Return of the Meba Cube event - ops 42, rank 2 in the SLB, rank 6 in the ALB, got 76K borg war funds, which I used for 10 shards for borg queen, 3 random shards. Conclusion - the rewards were rubbish for the effort to be online and hunt freebootoers, hostiles and launch or join borgmadas.

Will do something better with my time on the next Mega Cube event, if it will be the same!

Apex Outlaw event - first of all, the limit on spending the rewards, why was not taken out or increased? Are you afraid that we will upgrade too aggressively and break game balance?? Don't think it's fair to wait 7 days to get two chests for unc mats!

• second, the Apex exile is pointless, from my point of view, because I have the stella skin and all the collectors hijacked ships. So I have ~ 40k of contraband chips that have no use....can you add more items in the event store?

#1 Throw in 5 or 11 shards in the SLB.
#2 1 shard of FC Locutus should be 3/4ths the price of a rare officer shard. (This pricing structure was established in the incursion event store.)
#3 The rewards for the mega cube and regular borg group armadas themselves need to be updated. Throw in Guranteed independent creds for all regular borg group armadas and a chance to get some epic borg officer shards for the mega cube and rare shards for the rare borg cubes which serve 0 purpose cause they score 2x the points of a uncommon and cost 4x more.
#4 At the start of a mega cube event hand out 1 mega cube directive and 5 regular borg directives to all players.
#5 This event needs to be run more than the twice a year it currently is. At the current pace it will be 2 years to unlock Locutus (assuming people had enough currency to buy all 30 shards of him this time.) longer if they're not doing well on leader boards.

I've been playing this game since it launched in November 2018. The advertisement was to bring you into the game. It did its job. You're here. The model scopely uses is not to placate the "average" player, nor the light spenders, and definitely not the f2p. Does this model suck, it definitely can when your expectations are to be able to be competitive in this type of event if you are f2p or a very light spender.

I've learned to temper my expectations and compete in events they run where I might have a modicum of a chance of placing. I'm a light spender and I know my place in the STFC ecosystem.

I know Scopely is making lots of changes to the game but this lack of consistency on an event that's meant to be Monthly makes it impossible to plan for and will drive down participation.

Yeah, for an event that was meant to be twice monthly and the primary source of the relays needed to upgrade a bldg. The lack of success of even running the event is astounding. I think they haven't run incursions more than they have.

They should ust kill the event. I used to love incursions, but two big changes ruined it for me - @wanton copper has heard these from many players, I am sure:

1. When they removed base defense kills as a scoring metric in some of the events, it soured the thing for non-whales. Setting up a good base defense and having people think they got you and blowing up was fun and scored great points. You ran some risk as a 60 can pop anything, but it was fun. Plus it motivated me to be unshielded while raiding and participating, knowing that I was scoring points and could repair.

2. The addition of this recent base killing prime further sours the same concept. Now someone with a multi-level prime can stop my entire base and fleet from firing for two rounds, most likely resulting in being cracked immediately in many cases where that would not occur before.

Why would I risk my rss for a non-scoring metric when scopely has stacked it against me? Base defense was a fun mechanic in the event, and for many players the only real motivation to engage in it. They want us to play pvp, but give no rewards for it in general, and do zero balancing of it. They could do better, but influencing rage spend seems to be the only motivator for the pvp formats they use, little do they know that if they truly balanced pvp and made it engaging, spend would most certainly end up higher overall and less in spurts. But thats just my opinion.

That's how it's supposed to be. You're not spending the 100 directives for a regular uncommon armada. Same applies when spending for the swarm aramdas.

The ALB scores uncommon directives, but as they said, the pts you earn are scaled as well. The scoring card is showing you a shortcut scoring metric that's true for regular armadas, but isn't for discounted ones.

1. mining dalies .... should be able to raid other mining ships towards the same daily goal... either mine or raid it.
   2 ) remember the star trek movies where captains were beam to the other ships..... player vs player general ship attacks should give a % chance of obtain characters shards for winning pvp battles based on the characters on the ship you battled... this would encourange more general battles example attack ship B ... ship B had 8 character on the bridge and below deck.... winning gives 10% chance to collect 1 shard of below deck 5% chance of 1 shard from captains crew

jo... some feedback here: having incursions for all three server groups on the same day is a dumb idea... my designated pvp system for the SMS event as defender is Yoruba... my ships need about 1min40sec from where my base is... when I look inside the system to see if there are any targets within my pvp capabilities and then I launch a ship - during the travel time I see no ship movement in the system whatsoever... but once my ship arrives in the system, the data for the system is being updated and out of nowhere there are either 5 more ships all way too powerful for me or all ships were killed by other ships from my server and those appear out of nowehre... and on top of that I can't move my ship after it reaches the system cause when I target a ship or just another location in the system it says that my ship is still at warp for up to 30 sec and then all of the sudden my ship is dead and I have a battle report in my logg without ever seeing a ship moving towards me or seeing my ship in combat (or getting an incomming attack warning for that matter - those show up way after the fight as per usual) ... also my ship got stuck and the only option to make it unstuck was to blow 20 server switch token to switch to in the invading server and back again... server 187 APAC

incorrect ... there are multiple events... for the SMS event you need to be in the right system and on the right system (either on your own server if you have to deal damage as defender - or on the other server if you have to deal damage as invader) ... then there is a SLB event where you also have to deal damage either as defender or as invader which determins on what server you have to do this - but any system is valid for this event... and then there are the two XSLB events (raid rss and score pvp wins) and for these two events it doesn't matter what server or what system

I know I could go and do a ticket and one fo the questions is what are you doing when the error occurs and what is suppose to do. Well the answer is anything. Want to navigate between viewing systems, want to open manage of a ship, want to repair, want to open a store, want to scan a ship, want to select a ship to scan it....lol Any of these things and pretty much anything else and the game lags for one, gives an error, or just crashes. How do I show this in a screen shot? Well I could show the lovely "your internet connection has been lost" error screen. You know I didn't used to lose internet connection on wifi. Makes me think it's an error msg that will pop up to pass the buck of where the problem is. Like the game is having a problem but we'll just blame your internet connectin cuz, who can prove otherwise.

Stop making the Higher Ops PVP systems ones that cant be viewed externally.. Use the darn systems with Borg or the one Klingon Armada's that can be viewed in the higher warp space. The lack of ability to see those systems severely lessens the PVP action.

The new incursion format hurt the late night players even more than it used to. 24 hours was fair, but this one basically spanned my sleep/ work hours then ended.

How about rotating start and end times so people with different hours can actually participate?

naaaah, incursions can mess up TC however much they like... usually you fight against your own server, now you have to fend off a different server, it's still a pvp event regardless 😄

I was just reviewing the new arc info and I was surprised to see another new ship, which means another new grind!!
Have you not understood that this is not expected and I, personally, would like that you focus on bug fixing and game delay issues. Btw, I know that there are a lot others that have the same opinion..
I play the game on PC and a LAN connection and it responds slowly and I do see sometimes the yellow icon or the red one for connectivity but only ingame.
Adding a new ship every arc would be feasible if you would take out the spending limitations in game and that would allow a player to upgrade a ship at it's own convenience and not wait 1 day, 2 days..7 days to get a few more upgrade parts.
In that regard, another Apex Event has completed without any changes from your side - remove spending limits and provide alternatives to spend 40K chips; my initial post can be viwed here - #💬-events-feedback message
Now about the latest incursion - the fact that lasted less was good but the PVP brackets!!!! At OPS 42, I can be easily pwned by OPS 55 or OPS 60 players, without any chance; No matter that I've maxed pvp research, no matter that all ships have pvp crews!!!
A similarity to this is "taking a leak against the wind", you still wet your shoes, no matter what!@wanton copper , @icy cairn , @pastel hare you are all gamers, how happy do you think anyone playing the game is when the above happens?? Can you limit the PVP brackets to -5/+5??
Just a curiosity, do you even play the game, as normal players or have the devs provisioned you with special accounts?
And, in the end, can you start listening to player feedback and act upon it??
Btw, the new arc name is epic, so "Make it So"!!

Hi, in the event today I had a galaxy defence one that required me to kill certain ships, and I got 2x xp for killing those ships in certain systems. I played for at least 10 hours today and didn't see a single one of these ships from the other server, let alone kill one of them. For context, in the other galaxy defense event I came second I basically killed everyone from the other server I saw. The incursion was fun! But finishing the event on 0 points after a full day pvping is a bit frustrating

They ended incursions hours early for the maintenance, which they ended up extending for 2 hours.. Many of us were relying on playing this morning to hit milestones and rank up. God knows I was! So much for getting subspace relays and incursion credits!

If you haven't the special ships, it's a very good event store. If you have them then yes it may be less worth. Especially for the ST officers' devaluation caused by Freeman.

You know it's bad enough that once a month our Lat Rush gets screwed up with a 4 hour game update. Now it's getting worse running incursions at the same time. This needs to stop. Pick either another day to run incursions, as well as the update, or pick a different day to do Lat Rush.

In that case, the timing of this event is bad, Because of its difficulty level, Incursions shouldn't be scheduled just prior to arcs when maintenance is always required. INCURSIONS is still an awful event for someone who enjoys regular daily gameplay.

The purpose of this Incursion was besides a little fun for players, also for testing. Since today is maintenance and Arc update I assume the info from this test was needed.

I have been preaching for a +/- 5 in PvP for years…. I have even offered up a handicap system to make it feasible for a 42 to defend against a 60. But they will never change. Not sure if it’s a money thing, lazy thing or incompetent issue. But it’s not changing. Now go be fodder!!

It's most definitely a money/greed thing, but I also think there's some brainwashing going on. By forcing the PVP issue, they want us to learn to be okay with taking something we want from those who cannot defend. After all, if the big players do it to us, why not go after the ones we can win against? They want us to believe that whatever we want, no matter who owns it, is communal property. Except it's not right. It will never be right; and anyone with a conscience would only PVP on a level playing field.

By training our in game brains, I believe they hope to affect our behavior in real life.
