That's not what they have said at all. People are more than welcome to get their feedback saying they don't like it and don't want it, but people haven't been doing that. They have been taking it far far far beyond that.

Is it just me or is the COW recruit chest shards significantly reduced, got two shards? what's that all about, I have noticed that even premium chest pulls the shards seem to be 3 or 4, has scoply did something to the rewards from these as its really not worth the time investment into these events if you get nothing back for the time.

I apparently didn't finish an event from it because I was supposed to do amada damage and I'm just not strong enough to do that much amda damage. Also all the power increase events are really nonsense.
Of course these events were only one day instead of two.

The main issue with incursions is that the rewards aren’t worth it. If they truly gave out a great reward, like an epic officer of your choice, you’d see a lot more participation and teamwork.

Please consider eliminating nominally full galaxy awards as an ALB event. All personal beliefs aside, being forced to accept an award a lot of people are vehemently opposed to brings unnecessary negative emotions to a game that otherwise is comforting, engaging, and fun.

IDIC Event, has multiple levels of winning, put the payout is the same for coming in 1st place as it is for coming in 1,000th. If this is not an error, then it is a cheap and insincere way to take resources from those that donated them to raise their scores in competition with other alliances. Since money changes hands, in some states I believe the action is criminal, as they had run in with the lottery systems and bingo systems that were similar to this...........Please fix.

I got chat banned on Sunday for objecting to the event and for pointing out that to be inclusive and try and include any group is always to exclude another or anyone simply not mentioned. I was also told it's because the Pride/Trans group is oppressed. I posted a pic of Trump in a MAGA and wanted to see how much oppression I'd get for posting it. Figured some emojis and a negative comment. Instead a mod proved my point 1,000% by deleting the post, despite others repeatedly posting pictures of two women kissing or two men kissing and those not being removed. The chat ban came when I pointed out that deleting my post made my point. Chat banning me temporarily proved my point now 10,000%. sCoPeLy made this political by including a political symbol, a controversial one at that. The mods here need to accept you will have people in support of such a thing and opposing. In true Star Trek form controversial issues have always been cause for an episode in a series (I think TNG did it best). I'm sure exceptions can be found but the side silencing the opposition is rarely the one in the right. I give you the TNG S5 E17 The Outcast. A planet determined to be genderless, but they forced it on their people. Criminalized anything outside the government approved narrative. I don't mind the emoji or even disagreeing. I like a good back and forth on ideas. Pretty sure that is why Star Trek has controversial episodes. To explore not just space but concepts and ideas, to see things from both sides, to see bad athinking and bad arguments on both sides, to get its viewers to think about things. Despite it being a controversial episode it used to never take a side. The conclusion of the episode was very often a compromise on both sides. I might not even have liked the outcome but it was fictional. In the real world things matter more, but I respected a show for creating a dialogue that didn't end on a side or push an agenda. Obviously that was older versions of ST as the newer stuff does seem to take a side, just like the avatars indicate sCoPeLy taking a side.

An argument could be made that these symbols wouldn't have much relevance in the future, where equity and equality extend beyond, into other intelligent species. In that way, I see it as both embracing the progressive nature of star trek, and signaling to players with these identities that they do indeed belong in this game too. You could maybe argue this is just more corporate pride, but they didn't make money off it. Just a gift.

I think scopely could have diffused this very predictable blowback with:

• Opt in individual player mechanic
• Player choice redeeming an identity symbol like the two given to us, but more options. (No I'm not saying give us a str8 flag)

There are many rights LGBT people don't have. In many countries, gay people can't get married, they get arrested for simply being gay. They get tossed in jail, tortured, killed, and murdered by their governments. This is only a small list and doesn't even get into all the discrimination encountered that remove the rights and dignity of many people under this umbrella

Don't forget that this is an international game, and it doesn't surround or encompass only the United States

However in the United States, it is illegal for gay people to get married in most states. However those laws are only suppressed by Supreme Court ruling which could be overturned at any time I could go on and on and on ... but no we don't enjoy the same rights other people

Part of it is a political issue. But scopely has chosen to embrace the LGBT community. The differences is all people had to do was simply say they didn't want this badge. Last thing I'm going to say regardless of the feedback of the event itself. The mods feel hostile and one sided (some more than others). Negative emojis get used on my comments and I inquire about it, no response. Why does EU Servers get Incursions and Faction Hunt on the same day AGAIN? Didn’t scopely say when Incursions launched they would rotate which server is when. Then why does EU always get a good Event that want attention during incursions which wants attention too? APAC and US only get Hostile hunt again which you can do in a few minutes.
Either no Faction Hunt for all Regions during their incursions or switch it so not only one Region gets Faction Hunt every time

For incursions, for the pvp slb, why not have a king of the hill system. Add several capture nodes around the system. Make the sms be earn 10 points to complete.

Ways to score. 1 point per minute in the system. 1 point per kill. 1 point per 6 seconds being on a node. 5 points per 6 seconds being on the king node (center of system). Then allow the points to determine the slb winner.

Players can complete the event without having to fight, but won't be able to earn enough points to place higher. This will drastically change the pvp aspect. You could have several systems set up for different tiers.

The issue about the older bases doesn’t exist as these do get removed before incursions and during the month.

What I was pointing out was that the scoring blocker would still need to be there since in theory an ops 60 can sit on an ops 39’s base and in theory that is a dead base and the ops 60 can just spam ships on it and as you are constantly in combat you can’t move your station or shield etc etc

It was on the day the chat censor filter broke. He used the F-word slur used to way too often with gay men (of which I’m one). Then he continued to justify to me and everyone else in AC how it was a word he was entitled to use, and it was a word that was appropriate for him to use. I tried to educate him to it’s meaning and how it was a slur to no avail. I quit the game that day and didn’t come back for nearly 6-months. I believe he earned the definition I gave him. I would love to see a breakdown of whre the points actually came from. There is a massive amount of points in raiding, and far less in attacking ships. Also raiding only gives points one way, where attacking ships gives some points both ways. I'd be willing to bet taht even for the winning server, there was still a ton of points form crossing over and raiding. If you just stay and defend you're crippling the point potential.

Thats because base raiding accounts for 99% of the total score. A few lapsed shields determines incursion wins far more than any other action. Wish raiding counted for exponentially less of the total, just so people were forced to do more pvp things besides base attack/defense to win.

I would say about 2/3 of the at least marginally active players on our server like incursions. (Marginally active here means a player who logs on at least once a day) The main complaint I hear is about how incursions are riddled with bugs… or are cancelled or rescheduled last second because of technical issues. I would rather see more time put into making what we have work more smoothly than trying to change how incursions work. (Tho I can see how these could be the same thing by trying to change how many people move between servers? If this is the case, though, I would rather they just say “we are making this change for stability and reliability reasons”)

Fairly certain you get transporter patterns, sometimes it doesn't display that properly and your chest shows a Ghrush icon with a red "0" but it converts to TPs. Similar to completing missions with, say, Kelvin Spock shards, but you have him max already.

Allowing players to attack players doesn't make a game a "pvp" game when no form of progression comes from "pvp*. While I understand not wanting bases to count for the PvP event I think it needs to be returned to where it was. It allowed us smaller players to compete with much larger players. For example, when a big ship hit my base and my base guns hit that large ship, I'd get credit with PvP damage and put me in a position where I can compete with ships I could never hope to fight normally. Now, I have almost no peers to fight with. The systems are dominated but ships 10-15 levels higher than me. I'm not even a speedbump for them.

Not sure if it can be completed f2p, and not sure why yours is only 400 pts, while mine is 600. But if it is, you'll need to upgrade the green torpedo, mine will require going through an upgrade that will probably cost catalyst mats as well. There is quite a bit chance for failure as my first upgrade is only 85%. If I can't raise that success %, then I'd expect this one to be extremely difficult for even a lucky player.

Why do scopely think alliances has no value? The ALB rewards are mostly very low in contrast to SLB and now you add a player of the month and ally of month event but only SLB get a token.... that is so sad that the alliance in STFC has such poor value.... in other games you have great benefits like alliance research etc where player have to work together and donate or do daily to get upgrade points for ally and all has a nice benefit from alliance like active boni etc and alliance rewards are the best.

The starbase was my hope you will increase the ally value but it was a big big fail with single player research again and no real benefits for alliance member .... assaults are useless also... really sad... place the starbase into a system could have given some kind of boni for player in that system or allow repair in starbase / change crew etc so many many good options but just wasted till now...

The new Forbidden Tech system is far too complicated without a far more extensive guide than you have published.
In this instance I have unlocked some Forbidden Tech, a mining booster against my Pilum as it was not at all clear that the unlock process is locked to your current ship as opposed to a generic research screen LIKE HOW THE WHOLE REST OF THE GAME WORKS!!!!

Now I've wasted a ton of resources unlocking an item that is completely usless.

The event descriptions and new feature explanations are getting worse, there is absolutely no attempt to explain anything beyond "hey look at this new feature that lets you power up your ships". Don't get me wrong, I don't mind having to figure some things out for myself, especially if I'm levelling up into already existing content but then I have resource to pull from when I get stuck in the experience of other players, with brand new content a little more effort needs to be made, a splash screen that you only see once that includes 2 lines of text doesn't really do what needs to be done. What worries me is that if any sort of comprehensive game guide doesn't exist, do the people designing it even know how it is supposed to work?

Vidar, kill probes, refine probes, upgrade ship, do research.

Cerritos, buff ships, collect weekly rewards, use it 1 day a week. research, upgrade ship.

Mantis, kill actians, exchange venom for parts, research particles, syndicate and officers, do research, upgrade ship, get Tal, mantis becomes obsolete.

Talios, kill probes, refine, do solos, kill new mega armada for exo that replaces exos we just got the month before, do research, upgrade ship. retire vidar.

Defiant, kill jem hadar, kill new solo armadas, turn in tokens for rep, for directives, for credits, for materials, for bajoran favors, for research for officers. Oh new research, upgrade ship. even more new research.

Titan, buff ships, use it once a day cause the 2nd daily is useless if you're material locked at epics, collect daily, refine rewards, collect parts and research particles. park it until you use it again tomorrow for 30 second. eventually, maybe get some use out of the fleet commander stuff.

Voyager, collect hirogen trophies for 100 days to get a free ship, then you need to go kill more hostiles to collect more loot to refine for more loot to refine for things you can actually use to summon the ship that you need to kill to get the loot you actually need. And I though that one was horrific lol

Q's trials has potential to be fantastic and a great way to reinvigorate add some variety to a stagnant content path, right now it just looks like another massive grind that screams pay me now or deal with ops locks.

Botany bay, meh, mine data, exchange for credits and ship BPs for ships you'll never build now and are useless and cost more to build and upgrade than their counterparts for no benefit other than a skin. Unlock officers

BS (before Stella) kill hostiles, collect tags, exchange for bps to build ship.
AS (after Stella) kill hostiles, collect tags, exchange tags for tokens, rep, directives, get credits, buy officers. Do aramdas, exchange loot for more loot that upgrades stella. Scrap stella for particles, do research, repeat in perpetuity cause that M160 is a LONG way off and oh look, stella particles can be exchanegd for mats...ooooh new APEX event, oh, new skin, oh new mats, FML.

The simpler loops of even early 2022 still made the game enjoyable and had a good overall impact, not only on gameplay and progression but in all the discussion and game theory conversations it prompted, crew testing, different loadouts and approaches. It really made the game collaborative and built that sense of team work with your alliance, the last few have been excessive to the point of exclusion because people just want to get their heads down and get it overwith because everybody complains about it but nothing changes an we just continue to see a repeat of the same thing over and over. Now I get that these arcs are probably planned out months in advance of launch so some things are hard to change at that point, but we have had quality of life improvements that have helped alleviate it some what.

Swarms can now be down with freebooters, so can faction dailies which does help reduce the grind but these new most recent loops are such huge time investments, any gains that were made by adding iso and probes, actian venom etc to the exborg faction store were instanly made irrelevant in any savings they may have gained because all that time now goes into something that takes 5 times longer if you're lucky.

I would agree that right now exborg main benefit is the research options but if you look at the costs of the material, especially if you have your meridian or botany bay maxed, being able to buy several loads worth of material for a relatively reasonable sum does save some time, but if the ships aren't maxed, like my mantis T8, max cargo is 196k, buying 7 chests is 511k venom, is that worth saving 3 tokens or would I rather spend it on research so save me trit or dil? if you're in a pinch and run out or miss a grind day and need to catch up, thats where I see myself using the exborg store more than anything.

This event is terrible. There doesn't seem to be a way to complete this event FTP. Even if you fully complete the first 3 trials and unlock the Transphasic Torpedoes, you need to upgrade it 6 times but there doesn't seem to be enough juice to do that. This event would have been better had it been delayed by a week.

Yes, they screwed up the scaling of the 40+ event for F2P because they ran it too early in the month and haven't (AFAIK) acknowledged it. The only way to do it F2P currently is to have 4 upgrade failures, and at best the odds of that are about 1/256.

Ops brackets. Ops 31 to 39 has a target of 400 points. I remember a 2-chest limit for the first 2 days for catalyst, so at ops 42, I'm unable to get enough catalyst to do my first tier-up. I can't think of any reason that the target points should be any higher for ops 40+ vs lower ops. F2P should be in identical places in in the loop (assuming an ability to defeat the trial hostiles).

It would be great if the upgrade FT SMS event could be extended another day or two, to let ops40+ be able to complete it F2P.

Now that I've confirmed it worked, there's an objection I'd like to lodge with this event: I can see that the intent is to reward you for trying harder and harder ships, but the way it's setup, the optimal way to win is, every time you spawn a new hostile, lose to it for 14 minutes to rack up damage points before killing it. Also, it's slightly weighted towards the battleship trials as those tend to have more hull.

If I might suggest instead - Total Power of Trial Hostiles killed would be a far better metric for accomplishing the feel of this, without those issues, or failing that, if there was some way to make it so that only your first attack on a specific trial hostile scored, that would work as well, without worrying about taking away people's ability to try different ships & crews vs hostiles.

So forbidden tech is bugged with exccomps. Don’t try to unlock a slot with one running. It will take the upgrade cost, say to many exocomp running and then not open the slot on the your ship. An with scoopley customer service your out of luck.

Yep, tested this out last night with a ~4.9M hull battleship as the enemy. Gained ~70M points from one trial, but that included time spent testing crews to get as close to killing as I could without succeeding. I could have cheesed my way into the top of the leaderboard with a few more trials, if I cared to spend an hour doing it. This is base humping by another name, in another arc. I like your suggestion to adjust for a future run.

I missed the last step of upgrading tech sms because of not enough mats, and I will likely miss the last step of tech acquisition sms too if I can't build the commons quick enough. Honestly, this Q thing had the potential to be great. But is isn't.

1. You have to click exterior, interior, Trials, the trial you want, locate, go there, kill the hostile, exterior base, interior base, trials, claim, collect. Lather, rinse repeat.

2. If you collect the trial winnings, you get extra bells. Which is great, but then you cannot click your daily 80 from gifts.

3. You get 25 building doodads from completing all 15 or so kills. You get 75 a day for doing the 3 kill milestone, and none for the 5 kill milestone.

4. To get to L7 and open more missions, you need 370 building doodads for L6. So 7 days to get the level, but then the event is only 1 week long, and there is another level to go to open any more missions.

5. The convoluted claim and equip loops and the high chance of failure as noted by most of the previous posts in this thread.

6. I thought the idea was to make our dailies easier and less tedious. This is a huge fail.

I am finding the Forbidden Tech Acquisition SMS surprisingly difficult to complete F2P. At ops42, it is certainly possible to have completed it with very high rankings (top 3) on various SLB/ALB, and with foreknowledge of event rewards so that refining can be carefully planned out. Based on my knowledge of the events and game mechanics, completing the SMS would require the player to have upgraded their Court of Q to level 7, and then completing 2* trials, unlocking a third FT. My expectation is that the vast majority of F2P players will not have been able to complete the SMS prior to the end of the event. Personally, I expect to be 34 shards short of upgrading my Court of Q to level 7 prior to the end of the SMS.

My preferred solution would be to extend the event's end by 3 or 4 days, so that players will have been able to unlock Ablative Armor and Orion Seismic Charges through the refinery, and thereby completing the SMS. However, 3 days is enough only for my ops level. Ops 50+ may need even more additional time since their 4th milestone is higher than mine.

I didn't get any crits against the rom ship, my first crit against the fed ship was round 4, 5 crits in total but the crit hits did less damage than my main hits it seems. Comparing the damage across the first 16 rounds on both (fed ship destroyed round 16), I did 12,298,451 total damage to the fed (36.19% mitigated) and 10,803,237 to the rom (71.2% mitigated), but the analyser seems to show the rom ship was doing much more damage to me than the fed and klingon ships, and I was mitigating much less of it too

Actually, I think the mitigation % on the left is how much the enemy is mitigating. The rom has more def stats.

Rom is stretching the fight, and you didn't crit. Fed is paper, and fell fast.

I don't think the crits made much difference, or the mitigation - the rom's damage made the difference. I don't know why the battle report for fed shows them doing 810201 damage per round against me, versus my 526670 per round against them... the battle report for rom shows 985707 per round against me, versus 526670 per round against them - yet checking the fed damage per round they were averaging around 30k damage against me, and rom was averaging over 900k at least

Hey, the Delta event is still not working for me. Before first assignment was completed, all assignments were visible. After I finished the first assignment, all the others disappeared.
I went to the correct answer of the 2nd assignment and tried to use HF, nothing happened.
I tried going to all correct answers in order and nothing happened either.
I still just see one completed assignment,. With 100 points earned, and the meta says 100 points earned. But no assignment 2.

That's the normal progression of the event series for players who've already finished it in previous months. This is a rerun event for players who've missed out on those earlier run, and others were not supposed to get it at all. Those others will find that the events disappear after finishing one, and they will not be able to finish the rest or the meta.

i want to file a complaint as an ex ops 24 who had to deal with players of ops 27... i didn`t even got to compete in the "build trial of q" slb due to ops 24 and not 25. but still i have to deal with those who got that one leaderboard more in player of the month...

The brackets are different? Once your locked into a bracket your locked in. You can’t be changed. So if you scored in POTM as an ops 24. That’s what POTM sees?

What in the everloving heck is going ON with the trivia answers?! Different people in my alliance are getting different correct versus incorrect responses for question #1.

It's Who sponsored Chakotay's application to Starfleet academy. Some did B Captain Janeway, system Eshu. That scored for them. (That is the real accurate answer.)

But I and some other players tried and tried, and it didn't work. The answer that scores is D: Captain Sulu, system Kibuka. That answer is NOT true, but it's the one you have posted in the event tips and spoilers channel here on the official Discord.

Please get your act together. Fix the trivia coding in game and post the explanation of both in that event tips channel.

That is the reverse of "fixed". The correct answer worked BEFORE, and then it was changed to be an incorrect answer. That is breaking--not fixing. The true answer is Janeway, not Sulu.

It's a rerun event meant for those that haven't completed it yet. So if you completed it previously, then only the first event was completable this month.

I thought the first event was for only new players that didn’t complete the event previously (says it in the event detail) but it got sent out to everyone accidentally. Which is why only part one was able to be completed.

Looks like chakotay is useless as the crit chance isn’t cumulative. This is round 18, my enterprise had sisko and every hit after round 11 was a crit from ent but valdore had chakotay

Did you not read that it only lasts 2 rounds? If your ship is not constantly shot you will not notice anything.

It says each time you hit an armada, my valdore was hitting the armada every round like 6-8 times, even if we consider only one hit, the ship is hitting every round so by that logic by round 10 the crit chance should be at 80%

I had it the other way around for some reason even when I initially knew it was for firing. Valdore weapons firing pattern is 2, 3, 2, 3, et cetera.

They did the same with the 7of9 avatar during Picard Arc. It was locked behind a top 3 placement in a SLB, and I was so happy to be on 2nd place. One week later it was also part of an easy mode SLB and ALB and everyone in Top 10 or 25 got it.
I’m still waiting for my silver blood frame from last month’s SLB (this SLB was really hard) is given away for peanuts in the next event store.

In Delta event. #6 states players are to choose between Diplomatic Protocol or Offensive protocol which is found in Delta Adversary in event store. I’m not getting that option. Tried updating the game and rebooting as well as clearing cache… nothings happening

It’s not working on either my PC or IPad formats… Is #6 still being developed or is this one bugged?
