situation: i had an empty plot and bought stitches from another player. he said he would move to mine. so, when i returned to my island, i waited for the saving after leaving through airport. it said it was saved, so i didn't wait for my charachtee to arrive. i tt after lunch one day to have stitches moved in, and the plot had been alr auto filled with hippeux. i asked the seller if stitches had moved out, and indeed he had. where is stitches rn?

That happened to me once... It seems that when villager trading, you need to make sure to wait until you exit the airport on your own island before quitting the game, otherwise the villager won't install their plot x/

When restarting, you will lose all of your DIYs and catalog. The start of the game is very tedious and people tend to forget this when resetting.
It is easier to remove everything and flatten your island.
Restart only if you don't like the position of your RS, airport, river ends, northern beach, etc.

• Villagers' gifted clothing can be removed via giving them over 24 wearable clothing items, as 24 is the limit for clothing a villager can hold.
• Accessories: can be replaced by gifting them 24 'non-glasses' accessories (Villagers won't wear these, e.g. bubblegum)
• Caps (not helmets): Caps in the game are tagged either as free or womanly. Male villagers will only use caps tagged as free and gifting them 24 womanly caps will replace other caps from their storage. Since female villagers can use both types of caps, the only way to remove them is when they approach you to sell/gift/trade in the item. Pumpkins have 4 stages so it will be fully grown on day 4

The MIQ is basically an actual queue. You most likely have a full one if you have played with other people, and if you leave a plot open, one of them will move in. The other three will still be in queue for the next plot. Then you'll also immediately fill up that fourth spot if you play with other people, so there are always those four mystery villagers in your queue that won't show up on islands unless you clear it out and don't meet anyone, sadly.

Its what Nintendo seem to just do for events. When the next years version is added they remove the previous year, and timelock it until it comes around irl. Historically though they usually do this update about a week before the event, so the wait isn't that long, but they added Halloween in back in the July/August update with the fireworks. I play two islands on my own account and two on my partner’s account atm. And he has his own island too. No issues with anything. I can tell that the islands are cloud saved separately based on what the title screen says. No way of actually checking that without qualifying for cloud download, and I’m not gonna go break or lose my Switch to test it ;)

No, since the title screen just tells me when that island I am looking at was last saved. But I trust that the islands are saved separately from that info and Nintendo’s answer. They know people got more Switches to have more islands!

spawn them in again, you have to do this on three separate days (spawning them in -> getting them the item they want) before they want to move in

no, halloween day has been time locked for the entirety of 1.11's release and it will not change until it's the 31st irl for your switch's time zone

there's an update coming on november 5th, but they can unlock halloween without releasing an update. your game version will just change to 1.11.1a
