i’m making a suburb type island and i want my nook’s cranny and able sisters to be in either side of the plaza but idk how i would have them like that without looking weird. any suggestions?

If you don't mind spacing them a bit, You could use terrforming/trees/ castle items. to obstruct a direct view or to create separation to give the illusion of distance if that makes sense

My nooks cranny is pretty close to my RS and I'm doing city core, but I use a bit of terrforming and castle items to hide RS and create a little gap between

So these images are a bit old (more decor on the right of Nooks) but from the castle item over is about 6 spaces I think?

RS is just behind the castle walls (no spaces between)

You could also do stairs leading up with parking at the base or something too if the goal is just close to RS

You can’t collect your houses, you’ll have to go to resident services and pay bells if you’re wanting to move your houses. Tom will give you a moving kit and you have to choose where to put the house. The house will be in the new area you chose for it, the next day

What kinda island are you going for? town/city, natural, farm, etc.?

It helps get a general idea, city/town I would suggest a road like what you have in front but bring it down a little for some lead up. If you want RS to seem further away then terraforming and/or castle items can help give the illusion of distance. For instance, you could use terraforming to make the player enter RS from an angle or side instead of straight on.

Tree are also great to help obstruct the view to make it more cozy/dense/full

This is my rock garden, but I’m a bit stuck. I’ve filled up my island except for these spots. Nothing is blocking the spots or the surrounding areas. I’ve waited for a while and still nothing in these spots. I’ve checked many spots around the island and there are zero rocks. And I doing something wrong or is it a waiting game?

i think there is a limit to how many rocks you can have in an acre, and if that limit is met and no other space is available, the rock just ~doesn't spawn~. so make sure you built your rock garden on the edge between two acres so that rocks are allowed to spawn
