It does, but about a year ago, they HEAVILY reduced the spawn rates of scorpions and tarantulas, making it not worth it to create your own scorpion/tarantula island. plus, there are better and faster ways to make money now

If you already told them "no" for that villager then they won't change their choice. Otherwise, just keep restarting, it might take a lot of trials before they choose the one you want (also make sure that you have talked at least once ever to the ones you want out)

• What is my native fruit? - This is the fruit that will be on your trees when you first start the game. Your native fruit can also be bought from Nooks Cranny.

• What is my "sister fruit"? - This is the fruit that you find on a mystery island called "rare fruit island". This fruit can be sold for more than the native fruit at Nooks Cranny.

• What fruit does my Mom give? - Your mom will mail you a fruit. This can either be a new fruit that you have not obtained yet or a random one.

• How do I get the rest of the fruits? - You will only be able to obtain 2-3 fruits by yourself. To get the rest of the fruits you need to trade with other people. This can be done with your friends or with people in #fruit-vegetable-trade! (You will need the Trade role, which can be obtained in #721542917264638002.)

No. The shop’s inventory is already set for Monday to Sunday that week. So if you bought books for example on monday and you went to tuesday you can go back to Monday again to buy books. But if you bought one of the platform items and it says sold even if you go back to that day it will remain sold until you pass next Monday 5am. Then it will be completely different inventory. It resets not refresh

They don't get upgraded houses, unless you mean giving your starter villagers their normal homes, in which case you'd need to move them out and then back in again
