I don't know about designs but I used to have a villager that I reported to Isabelle several times for wearing gifted clothes I hated, and it only reset them temporarily but they always changed back later. 😦

Meaning if you gift them lets say 10 days in a row your chance is still only 6-10.2%. But gifting with full inventory so they have to send a return gift through mail has a slightly boosted chance

1x1 items that can only go on the floor and are not any of these categories None, Base_Sp, Chair, can only go into the room markers and replace the coats, you can mail multiple to replace multiple more effectively.
