Last few times I've gone to treasure islands, it's felt like it ruined/tainted my save, even if it didn't actually. It just feels like cheating to me to get such a boost in the game, even if it's technically not.

Unlike all the times before, though, this time I did it while I was much farther along in my progress, to the point where starting fresh doesn't feel okay this time.

I still have a rough idea of what I got by doing this. Is there any genuine way to discard everything I got by doing this? My only idea is maybe dropping everything onto an NMT island, but I'd need to make multiple trips if I did that.

If some kind of garbage can item exists, I could dump 99.9% of it into that and then put the can onto an NMT island or something, lol. (Assuming I can't just craft or buy the can now.)

there is multiple types of trash cans you can craft, and it actually deletes the items so you wouldn't have to dump it on a nmt island!!

no there isnt anything wrong with ur game, thats just how it is unfortunately i think, if you're really not getting anyone other than the 5 you keep seeing you could let tom nook auto fill the plots, there would be some variety as he does 3 different personality type villagers

More than no proven effect, it was datamined that the cache does not contain data from your island "rng" per se. No random event from your island is in your cache

You can try planting shrubs, crops such as pumpkins, tomatoes, etc. and any sort of trees. Those all count towards nature points when trying to get to 5 stars

When you see a fish silhouette try and throw your bobber in front of it, if the fish locks onto it then it’ll start tapping it (if it isn’t looking at it just try again) the fish will tap the bobber 1-5 times before the bobber must go under, you will hear a sound but it’s much easier to watch the bobber go fully under. Once the bobber is under or you hear the right type of sound immediately press A to catch the fish.

Once a villagers house plot is sold you can’t change it. Your best bet is go villager hunting before you set down your plots.

Can’t change the campsite villager at all the first time.

Yes. You’ll only get those villager types but you can hunt for who you want within those types.

Just hunt before you place them and do the furniture.

That I’m not sure actually, someone else will have to answer if you can trade for your first ones. I’ve never tried that.

I have 2 switches (so 2 islands) but only one ACNH game cartridge. Therefore, I can never visit my other town when I play. I was wondering if someone trusty like a mod or middleman (or someone who’s just really established in this community so they have a good reputation) could let me drop MANY items from my old account on to their island so I could then come on with my new account and pick them up. I may be able to offer gifts for the service if you’re wanting them, but I’m not exactly goated in terms of bells or NMTs on either account, so I would have to pay with materials or items or something, if you requested.

For the three plots quest you can only invite those villagers from NMT islands, you’re not at the point yet where you can adopt villagers from other players. You can adopt from other players once you move in your first campsite villager, which isn’t until after the three plots quest.

It’s one lazy, one normal, one peppy. You can hunt for them beforehand, just keep in mind that the plots will start to fill once you furnish the plots, regardless if you hunted or not.

Yup! You have as much time as you like to hunt for villagers, so you can delay furnishing the plots until you’re finished hunting. This is the only point in the game where you can hunt for more than one villager in a day and also where the plots don’t autofill the next day since your move-in queue is empty at this time

You can also do multiple days of hunting so long as you don’t furnish the plots, just to make that clear ^^

You should be able to not transfer the island from your Switch 1 during setup iirc, but if worse comes to worse you should be able to transfer it back to the 1 with the Island Transfer Tool!

Tried the time travelling method it’s not working. There needs to be an easier way of getting rid of villagers.

The method shown above doesn’t require time travel, the method being explained is an in-game process that happens naturally. Time travel just speeds things up so that way you’re not waiting several IRL months before a villager asks to move out. The only other way to get them to move out is with a campsite villager (which has its own method) or just using amiibo cards, if you have any at your disposal

• Why? - Your goal is to make a profit. That means you want to buy at a low price & sell at a higher price.

• What's a "low" price? - Daisy Mae's prices range from 90 to 110 bells per turnip, so a price in the 90s is on the lower side.

• What's a "high" price? - Timmy & Tommy will buy at prices ranging from 9 to 660 bells per turnip. This means you CAN lose money. Anything 350+ is considered pretty high, but you can still profit with lower numbers as long as it's higher than what you paid.

• How many should I buy? - You can buy as many as you want (limited by how much you can afford & carry), but I'd recommend buying just a few at first if you don't fully understand how it works yet.

• Where do I put them? - Turnips cannot be stored in your home inventory. You can put them on the floor in your house, on the ground outside, or bury them. You can stack them into "bundles" to save space.

• How do I know when the sell price will be high? - You don't! That's the gamble of the stalk market! There are 2 different sell prices at Nook's Cranny each day; it changes at 12pm. You can predict your future prices using fanmade tools such as Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

• Can I time travel back to a better price? - NO!! ALL turnips will spoil if you travel back even 1 second. Prices will change when you go backwards. You can go forwards, but DON'T go past 5am on Sunday, or they'll rot.

• What if I have NO good prices? - You can see if another player has a higher price, then use online play to travel to their island to sell!

✨ Turnips ✨

• How do I get them? - Turnips are sold by Daisy Mae on Sundays (5am to 12pm) after unlocking Nook’s Cranny.

• What do I do with them? - Buy them from Daisy Mae on Sunday, then sell them at Nook's Cranny sometime during the week before the next Sunday.

• Why? - Your goal is to make a profit. That means you want to buy at a low price & sell at a higher price.

• What's a "low" price? - Daisy Mae's prices range from 90 to 110 bells per turnip, so a price in the 90s is on the lower side.

• What's a "high" price? - Timmy & Tommy will buy at prices ranging from 9 to 660 bells per turnip. This means you CAN lose money. Anything 350+ is considered pretty high, but you can still profit with lower numbers as long as it's higher than what you paid.

• How many should I buy? - You can buy as many as you want (limited by how much you can afford & carry), but I'd recommend buying just a few at first if you don't fully understand how it works yet.

• Where do I put them? - Turnips cannot be stored in your home inventory. You can put them on the floor in your house, on the ground outside, or bury them. You can stack them into "bundles" to save space.

• How do I know when the sell price will be high? - You don't! That's the gamble of the stalk market! There are 2 different sell prices at Nook's Cranny each day; it changes at 12pm. You can predict your future prices using fanmade tools such as Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

• Can I time travel back to a better price? - NO!! ALL turnips will spoil if you travel back even 1 second. Prices will change when you go backwards. You can go forwards, but DON'T go past 5am on Sunday, or they'll rot.

• What if I have NO good prices? - You can see if another player has a higher price, then use online play to travel to their island to sell!

you should just be able to go to settings > save data and then delete the save data for the game, im not sure how the multiple accounts thing works but if you delete the save data on your sisters account that should do it, if not then delete save data on all three accounts

Couple things you can do to boost your chances:

1. Ensure you're at high friendship with the villager you want gone, gift and use katrina to boost friendship with them
2. Put a different villagers moving kit in your pocket, they can't ask to move while you have their moving kit with you

If you cannot use Amiibo nor time travel, the only techniques applicable in your case are:

• make sure you have at least 6 villagers on your island (no one can ask to move out otherwise)
• make sure you talked to them at least once, ever (they can't ask to move out if they don't know you)
• never talk to them ever again, ignore their quests (to prevent getting any more friendship points)
• maximize friendship with all other villagers (so that the other villagers' chance to ask to move out is comparatively slimmer)
• keep in your pockets the moving kit of one of the villagers which you want to keep (so that there's at least one less possible choice when the game chooses to have someone ask to move out)

Right before I quitted, I was WIP with my island: after wiping it slate-clean (moving all buildings on the beach and flattening it all), I started terraforming it and slowly placing houses around.
but the thing is that I was mid-construction, and things must have become so tedious and slow and frustrating that I quitted.

now after the 3.0 Update I got the itch to come back but I'm here in this situation; I considered resetting my save data, but I do not want to lose hundreds of hours of interactions and progress, honestly.

so here's my question: is there a way where I can... IDK, virtually "practice" with my island layout and then translate it or apply to my actual island then?
wish we had some actual tools for it because when you get stuck the way I did, things get VERY, VERY frustrated...

I saw there are dreams or virtual design methods but IDK how they work or apply?

The 3.0 update will let u BASICALLY have more than 1 island. Its a dream island. And u can terraform it and stuff. So sadly, you have to wait, for all that i know

Hey, I recently got an OLED Switch and I'd like to create a second island without deleting the first one (480 hours of gameplay). I have online on my first Switch, but I'm wondering if I need to use the same Nintendo account on my future second island to have it? Or just not the same local user account as the one on my first island? I really want to be sure I keep my first island, which is why I'm doing a lot of research before deciding!

If you want to be able to play online with your new Switch, you would need a second Nintendo Online Membership. Right now it's one island, per Switch, per NSO account.

Hi guys!! I’m in a bit of a predicament and could really use some advice so that I don’t mess up when the time comes.

I have a friend coming to visit me from America in December and I am planning on buying the Switch 2 during this time so that when she heads back, she can take my original switch home with her so we can play Animal Crossing together online.

However, I have just realised that the Switch 2 version of Animal Crossing isn’t going to be released until after she has already gone home.

Is it possible to transfer my island across without having the upgraded game? I haven’t done this before so I’m a little scared about losing my island/progress and won’t be able to retrieve it since I won’t have my original switch by the time the upgrade releases.

I’m not really sure how all of it works, so if anyone could give me some advice then I’d be really grateful. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Just listen to Isabelle’s advice, she’ll give live updates so you can keep checking as often as needed to see if she says something different. You’ll need a variety of furniture items (from Nooks and crafted items), plants (flowers, trees, shrubs, crops), fencing, at least 8 villagers (if I recall correctly), and I believe you might also need a bridge and an incline, but that I can’t really remember. Some furniture items give more points (e.g 3x3 furniture items give additional points, outdoor furniture gives additional points) and also fully grown flowers and trees also give you more points.

Villagers actually have presets unfortunately, so something isn’t in their style or taste they won’t wear it and will display it in their house instead! It’s a CHANCE they will wear it but not a guarantee

You cannot host for online players when playing in couch co-op or local multiplayer ; and if you attempt to use online features using the same Nintendo account on two different consoles, one of them will get disconnected.
As for whether it's worth to get the family plan, that's subjective so I can't say

Hey Tina! You're doing great daily tasks and Nook Miles+ are key. Just make sure to check the ATM daily, focus on double-mile tasks, and look through your Nook Miles app for goals you haven’t finished yet. Customizing items and breaking tools also gives Miles. Keep at it you’ll get there!

You can offer something like player services (removing flowers/weeds for someone, etc.) which still counts as payment for some iron

• How do I move an Amiibo villager to my island? — You must invite them and craft their requested items 3 separate times in order for them to move in. (It doesn't have to be consecutive, just 3 days total.)

• What if I have an open plot? — They still need to be invited 3 different times.

• Can I choose who the Amiibo villager kicks out? — Yes! If you have 10 villagers, it will let you choose who to kick. Just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once & their house isn't currently being relocated.

Can Shino show up as the peppy in that original set of three villagers/can she show up on a nook miles island to invite at that stage of the game?

I've gone through 260 some odd nmt, most for a peppy only as I got my lazy and normal super fast. And she hasn't shown up which is statistically super unlikely at this point with only 53 peppy villagers.
