Once the plot is "empty" with the ropes and the sign, that is YOUR time to invite a villager from somewhere

Hey guys, so I played animal crossing horizons before, but I lost my original cartridge awhile back. When I got the switch two I bought it digitally and started my island two days ago. Right now I am struggling to catch a blue marlin before September ends, so far I catch all the seasonal fishes besides a blue marlin. Does anybody have any tips? Like if I fly out to an another island with fish bait does my chances double on a pier or instead of nighttime are they better to catch in the morning?

Yeah, I caught 57 fishes majority of the fishes are not donated yet because blathers museum opens tomorrow so what I would do If it says “yes”, right away I make sure to place them on the island and if I caught a duplicate then I sell it but I made sure all the fishes that are not donated yet would still be in my storage or place around the island near the museum

I'm currently in the process of filling out the museum, here are my tips.

• Decimate the clam population. Crafting fish bait is a pain but the best way to help here. (If you have nintendo switch online you can go to a treasure island and get bait there though I suppose it's kinda cheating.)
• Don't be afraid to time travel a little. You can always just... stay in September for a few extra days if you really need it.
• Be patient. Often there's not really anything you can do but keep trying.
• Try fishing at times most unwanted fish won't spawn like at night.
• Memorize the shadow size you're looking for.

Also! The blue marlin appears exlcusively on the pier!! Do not throw your bait anywhere else!!

@left hawk @versed wave so I search up the chances of finding a blue marlin, instead of nighttime I fish during the day due to their rng spawning better during 9am to 3pm. Don’t get me wrong they are rare, but it’s a 2% chance better of them spawning during the morning and afternoon instead of a 1% chance at night. It took 2 fish baits then boom caught me one

Plus the shadow helped me identify it was a blue marlin, due to the body and tail being a tad bit larger

One way I farm bells that isn’t in that guide is, I make a list of what fish and bugs are currently catchable that are worth 1000 bells or more, then I save them when I catch them somewhere either in storage or placed on my island to wait until Flick or CJ come to visit. Then, I can sell them for double the profit!

• How do I get them? - Turnips are sold by Daisy Mae on Sundays (5am to 12pm) after unlocking Nook’s Cranny.

• What do I do with them? - Buy them from Daisy Mae on Sunday, then sell them at Nook's Cranny sometime during the week before the next Sunday.

• Why? - Your goal is to make a profit. That means you want to buy at a low price & sell at a higher price.

• What's a "low" price? Daisy Mae's prices range from 90 to 110 bells per turnip, so a price in the 90s is on the lower side.

• What's a "high" price? - Timmy & Tommy will buy at prices ranging from 9 to 660 bells per turnip. This means you CAN lose money. Anything 350+ is considered pretty high, but you can still profit with lower numbers as long as it's higher than what you paid.

• How many should I buy? - You can buy as many as you want (limited by how much you can afford & carry), but I'd recommend buying just a few at first if you don't fully understand how it works yet.

• Where do I put them? - Turnips cannot be stored in your home inventory. You can put them on the floor in your house, on the ground outside, or bury them. You can stack them into "bundles" to save space.

• How do I know when the sell price will be high? - You don't! That's the gamble of the stalk market! There are 2 different sell prices at Nook's Cranny each day; it changes at 12pm. You can predict your future prices using fanmade tools such as Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

• Can I time travel back to a better price? - No, ALL turnips will spoil if you travel back even 1 second. Prices will change when you go backwards. You can go forwards, but DON'T go past 5am on Sunday, or they'll rot.

• What if I have NO good prices? - You can see if another player has a higher price, then use online play to travel to their island to sell!

Pokemon uses a selected language (which you cant change once you select it) and not system language, so it might be more helpful for you to play a Pokemon game to help with language learning

1. Yes! They will wear your clothing occasionally at any time weather that's on there b-day or not. It may be displayed in their house, but there's always a chance of them wearing it.

2. Yes they do, the villagers have there own color favorites (ex. Raymond likes black and gray). It's not that important gameplay wise but its always nice to give your villagers what they like! You can also check your villagers fav colors by simply looking it up online as there are lots of animal crossing information recourses available!

Unfortunately I do not believe you are able to choose/prevent villagers from displaying clothes But, you may be able to get a piece of clothing from being displayed by gifting them other clothing to "Push" It out of there house in a way. It can allow their displayed clothing items to change or cycle as you gift clothing I believe.

Now, I remember a while ago, if I refused to kick out the villager he suggested at first and kept leaving the tent and going back in to ask the campsite villager to move in, he would suggest a different villager to kick out every time. Today I tried that, but he kept suggesting the same one to kick out so I was wondering if they changed how it works or if im just being very unlucky😭

To unlock the Happy Home Paradise DLC after purchase, you must

• Complete the DIY workshop with Tom Nook.
• Upgrade Resident Services to a building.

Just so you know, you cannot travel to a friend's island unless their gates are open. But, because you're switch friends, they can select "open gates to friends" which will allow you access without needing a code (but as mentioned this requires online if they aren't physically near you)

"diagonal" can mean X or diamond, X is not advised, as it is not a clone resistant layout, for the colors, it's not about the colors sadly, more about the genes, for example some purple mums will never give you green while some other can, even yellow ones can. it's not about the color, you need to track the genes to actually breed what you want , especially for more complex flowers like the green mum, purple pansy or blue rose

You can try placing candy or rotten turnips and see if any show up then. They’re one of the hardest bugs to spawn, so even if you lay out a bunch of stuff to get one to spawn it still might be a while. Hopefully you can get one soon!

There’s not really a reason why, it’s just to give each villager their own personality and to make things fun. They can act different than each other, have different dialogues (e.g lazy villagers will talk about being friends with bugs, normal villagers will talk about a book they just read, etc.), and like certain hobbies and items that others don’t. You don’t really need different personality types to live on your island, only if you’re trying to get all of the different reactions since there’s certain reactions that can only be taught when you’re at a high friendship with each personality.

Sometimes it's very rare but it can happen that two villagers leave your island, one can be due to you inviting a camper from your campsite (or another player's island) and one already in boxes because you agreed for them to move when they asked. But only one plot will be available at a time so no, you can't invite more than one at a time. Unless of course you are still in the "buying land" option with Tom Nook, then of course you could probably go get some villagers to fill those spaces from other people (I haven't tried this myself so don't quote me on it 😅)

Celeste only shows up during meteor showers, but not every meteor shower is guaranteed to have celeste. If you're not seeing many shooting stars, chances are it's a light shower - sometimes there's only a couple of minutes of starfall every hour with those!

Though it's not any more "ideal" than anywhere else along that river, I said it must be connected to a waterfall but it doesn't need to be immediately next to it; the only thing that matters is that the water is not still (which you can see when the fishing rod bobber moves or not), if it's still the game will consider it a clifftop pond instead of clifftop river

Have two bridges, 50 pieces of fence on the island, I think 20 pieces of furniture outdoors, and I think 20 or so flowers??? Also you learn your island evaluation from Isabelle in the updated Resident Services building (when it upgrades from a tent)

Also have I believe 8 to 10 villagers, can't remember if you need the full 10 but you do need a campsite and to have upgraded Nooks Cranny and the museum

I got some great advice not lot ago. Someone said to travel to a nook miles island (where fish spawn by the pier naturally) and just run and scare fish away that spawn anywhere else but the pier. If that makes sense? It certainly helps if it’s a big fish island, depending on what fish you’re looking for

the main appeal on going to mysetry island is the time lock, the critters that can spawn are locked at the time of arrival, so if you arrive during the day for example, and stay the day fish will spawn even during the night

Okay so I just need assurance just to make sure. I got my first campsite villager, he ain't too bad. (Curlos.) But I went ahead and sold some land to Bam, my next villager. Then I went to go sell more land and hunt for more but I couldn't, so is the plot I put out going to be autofilled the next day?

you can't get more land or villagers leaving until the mandatory camper moves in

can you rephrase / redo the timeline on how Bam enters the pictures ? from what I understand it's not possible

I was able to sell a plot of land once after having the campsite villager move in his own plot. But once I set up ANOTHER plot of land, this was after getting Bam on the first plot of land I sold, I could no longer get more villagers when I checked the next mystery island.

So there's only one plot out, and Curlos has his plot sold so he's moving in the next day. I presume Bam is moving the day after, right?

Let me rephrase. I invited Curlos and set up his plot. Then I went ahead and sold another plot of land, and somewhere in my mind I thought I sold two, but it was only one piece of land. So that's why Bam showed up and now no other villagers are showing up.
