Summit has all directives, open world has a limited list of 5 that change each season

if you learn the missions, pay attention to where spawn closets are, understand positioning, where to seek cover and when to push, it's really no different to challenging. NPCs hit harder, but they aren't really any 'smarter' and still do the same things.

Heroic generally means you have better odds of getting Gear with higher stat rolls, so you can build your Library up more

20 minutes is perfectly fine, if anything its down to the mission itself, and how well you know said mission

Local is right on that to a degree. With a Vanguard + Galvanized setup you can get a build to synergize well in groups if played correctly. Just get up in front of enemy faces without being in the way and draw aggro by crowd controlling

Think of it as the start of the deep endgame.
