Generally, those who play the Division are content with what they play. Because they play looter shooters and this is what they come to accept. They don't base it on any form of realism and in actual fact in most cases it's for the power fantasy.

The loud minority concept introduces a select portion of the playerbase who play the game but don't actually like it or dislike aspects of looter shooters. Those are the people that the developers hear from the most. Because they voice their grievances everywhere.

Developers who listen to the loud minority typically fail.

An example of this is Armoured Warfare. They listened to all the crap world of tanks players to make a game they thought the masses would love. The removed all the mechanics that the vocal minority hated. And the game died the most spectacular death i've ever seen from any video game.

we veterans will always say. Ninja Backpack shouldn't be used for PVE because missing a backpack talent totally nerfs your build considerably. if you say put on a hunter backpack then take the 2 heartbreaker and put on 2 highends you'd see your damage goes up by a whole lot in general

proficiency is a long term thing. basically a marathon so not something you need to concern yourself with as you'll get the gear/weapons/skills/specialziations to Proficient (10 levels) eventually
builds you don't really need to worry until you're 40

Well, that and the spawns are a lot more condensed down, so you can spawn-camp doors much more efficiently.
If you ever wondered how some players are able to clear missions that much faster than others: learning the spawns is the main method.

all good masks needed to have high DTE, therefore all brands that rolled more than 2 stats had very weak rolls, so the brand would be devalued and you would only want masks with one specific stats which locks in even more what is a good masks, similar thing to gloves having specific weapon damage

people were using grey gear at endgame because it meant that it only had raw damage

while later high end weapons because they could roll 4 extra stats just meant getting like 1% crit chance + 1% movement speed in all rolls with a weaker gun

more pieces having talents is something i do miss

but i dont miss everything else in the system that just made things worse

• 3P: 35% Weapon Handling, 50% Ammo Capacity
• 4P: On Signature Weapon kill, gain 1 stack. Each stack increases all weapon damage by 5%, max 10 stacks. Regen SW ammo every 60 seconds.
• Chest: Double regen ammo amount and max stacks.
• Backpack: Reduce regen time to 30 seconds and get extra SW ammo for every 3rd SW kill

in the game we have a tinkering mechanic. we gotta destroy our gear/weapons to extract attributes and if they have talents those as well
depending the number you extracted attribute wise. you can only optimize a gear to that specific number until you get a higher one extracted

thats because you want a weapon status, and all weapon status are weak af by nature. cap lets you double dip skill damage and status on a well set ep build and burns entire rooms
