Using only one set of equipment will not increase the expertise level of other gear. If your SHD level is not high enough to exchange for materials for donations, you will need to equip and use all the items for a period of time to raise their expertise levels. This workload cannot be completed in a short amount of time.

I kind of think since they will be giving exotic blueprints for exotics from retaliation as well for those who don't have it, if it will be if you own the blueprint already you can craft right away or it will be a "different" type of blueprint we need to earn again and raid exotics don't get a change and stay behind raids

Innately, Striker fills a specific niche that was left on the floor.
It lets you ramp up the damage quickly, and keep it ramped up with very little effort.
other builds can do more damage, but striker is consistent and strong, it's a potent combo.

Give it a chance, it won't disappoint 🙏 slapping 1 or 2 blues on Striker and swapping out coyote for it just works. You will need to make sure you've got decent crit chance on the build, as coyotes long range buff will no longer be there. Cover to cover plays so well depending how it's used and Nimble rewards doing so. Even better when paired with firewall 🤌

I swap Elmo's to Eagle Bearer and chainkill headshots to basically be immune. When I take too much damage I throw myself into cover and transfer around cover to cover to get my armor up

and don't worry too much about Eagle bearer.. it's really not useful of a gun these days. It's talent is really more tailored for PvP and there are far better guns to use than it such as St. Elmos itself. I would say, as someone who went through this myself when i was starting out, round up your builds, fill your library, get the usual exotics, polish up your striker build and then if you really want run raids after you are comfortable running heroic content at least with the build you made.

EB is one of those things that's nice to have in case there are changes but definitely not something you are missing out on.

Next to the crafting table there is another table, interact and click on "library" then select the category u want (rifles, ARs, chests, kneepads, etc...) and donate the stat or talent (u need have an item with the stat/talent in ur inventory or stash)

After doing that u can change the stat/talent of anything u get except exotics, for example, u get an lmg with 8% lmg dmg, if in ur library u have a higher stat than 8% then u can put It in there and change it

Note: u r only able to do this to 1 of the things of the gun, u cant change 2 things
