I have a suspicion that something is wrong with the drop rate. I got 2 masks on the first day and not looking for it anymore. But I've matchmaked into that mission like... 30 (maybe more)... times since then. Not a single person in those groups got the drop. I haven't seen the mask since then either.

Previous grinds (like Ouroborus) weren't like this. It took me about 60 runs to get an Ouroborus but other people were getting it in my groups all of the time.

I recommend doing countdown on challenging, do a few runs, then buy exotic caches with the countdown credits

Assuming you're not looking for build advice:

Try to improve your peripheral vision when running content, try to improve your positioning when shooting enemies by abusing corners & using cover without vaulting. Don't roll when you don't need to.
Use a variety of builds to not get bored: Hotshot, HF, HHF, Oxy and Mortar are some options for variety when running solo or a dedicated group.
Always scan the area before or during combat, look for potential cover spots or advantage points. Don't stay in one place, look for those points in the area.

I haven't tried it with a status effect build. I'm only pairing it with Iron Lung or St. Elmo. The OD gear has crit chance/dmg (whatever I need).
The backpack slot hasn't seemed to matter much. I've tried Perfect Wicked, Perfect Unstoppable Force, and Perfect Creeping Death.
If the weapon dmg buff was at least 30% then I might run it on a regular basis but right now it's a fun experiment more than anything else

I could see backfire running good with it. Like an ongoing directive high crit build with backfire maybe one or two armor cores. Take off the bleed resistance for more crit and it gives you more damage there, with the bleed from backfire giving you more damage cause it procs catalyst. Bleed from the OD also having a buff from the mask but keeping it procd at the same time. I would think in theory that’s where it’s at.

Have ran the mission easily 20 times no mask so in theory crafting I’d try that as soon as I get it tbf. Play around with the stats and get that perfected.

Anyone else wish they’d open up the Choke’s balcony at the back near where you enter the room with the door to the storeroom? There’s a balcony on either side blocked off by barrels and fencing. Why not open that up so players can use the balcony for better sight lines?

360 degree control and projection of force around the choke, and it would make sense anyway from a strategic point. It doesn’t add anything else or make it too easy. Just increases the value of taking and holding the choke

I just did the math (I think), it's 297 coin per cache. U start off with 10 coin after the 1st loop, then 11 after loop 2. Assuming to u don't get a boss door in between loops, that means u would need to reach loop 17 just to afford 1 cache. Or 51 total loops if u include the sub-loops in between the loop numbers

I would recommend doing some good research, watching videos and guides etc before attempting the end game activities like raids/incursions.

Finding groups isn't hard, but alot will want you to at least know the mechanics/spawn points etc and unless they specifically say they are willing to help/carry you, they will want your build to be almost perfect

Incursion needs an amount of team synergy and coordination to complete, with everyone knowing their roles and responsibilities throughout the encounter

A team wipe is never more than a few seconds away 🙂

Focus on learning basic mechanics, and not skipping the game. Don't worry about a build until you reach level 40. Just keep equipment in synergy with your level and try to at least match a few pieces of gear if possible for bonuses.

Might have already been answered but there’s legacy manhunts. You can play the mission that adhered to that season, like destinys dlc journey system where you play the last mission that concludes the story. Each one is the events in order Right After WONY. Whereas Brooklyn (new DLC, slight spoiler here) being captured by Cleaners is what’s happening In Division 1s area from the end of 1 to now. You could say the current timeline is like a year after division 1 Currently, so to speak. Even though the game has been out for years irl the in game timelines “new objective, new mission” type stuff is like a couple days at a time before we’re “onto the next” making it only months after the very start of dv 2 as we speak.

Not confirmed but it’s easy to see when you break it down. Dm if you wanna speak about all this privately.

If you still want to solo now, I strongly recommend to have Hollywood global event on. You will both find more players and won't join low level noobs who instantly leave, roam around doing nothing and never give extra points manually.

The events won’t work in countdown. If the modifiers are turning off then the game is bugging out cause they do work in countdown but not the Events.
