Equip 2 pieces of Grupo, 1 piece of China Light, and the Collector exotic chest to boost your grenade damage. 3-5 enemies congregate in a group at the very start of the mission and you can just nade them. then hover over the mission icon on the map, open the mission settings, and select whatever difficulty you were playing on to reset the mission. Repeat until you've gotten enough grenade kills

you can also foam enemies then throw grenades at them on lower difficulties. foam will stop them from rolling out of the blast radius

It's tricky because Catalyst is a red core. You'd need to make the build worse to make room for the mask.

I don't know of one. OD is a popular choice but Coyote is better for an OD build.

The only build I can think of is a hazpro status build for hunter team fights. In a build like you could run Technician to recover the lost skill tier. Technician also gives you Faraday which can make your teammates immune to hunter EMPs.

Since the mask comes with hazpro/status attributes it seems like a good fit.

But then you're not really benefiting from the mask as much b/c hunter fights are low number of enemies.

@fickle sandal Generally speaking, the Named options in div2 aren't always the best, you just have to go by their "special thing", in the case of LMG's: it's their Talent.

Fire-rate or crit chance would be ideal, I personally prefer CHC though.

DtA would be good, but it's important to remember that it only works on enemies with a white bar over their health, and not at all on "heavies".

Just farm out a new one, Countdown: Challenging with LMG's as the TL (targeted loot) will get you a bunch.

That way you can try out a few and see which works best for you.

E,g, blue has a better chance of being blue.

So going for 2 other colours is going to be fighting against the system, and can take a while.

The free-free ones are mostly the grey-tier stuff you can get from random bags around the city.

We used to have Apparel Events, where you could earn full outfits, but those are pretty much gone now.
You can make some pretty good outfits with random bits, but they've mostly been moved to the paid section, think of it as a way to justify div2 staying around after this long.

It's all pieces, in most sets, you can get some bits for Textiles, but others will be Premium Currency only.

Nah, it can drop from there, but you only have a single chance per run if it's not on Mask TL (targeted loot).
The usual countdown/summit/prio objectives are more efficient overall.

I’ve seen so many videos online of other locations. Basically I’m stuck killing 1 boss every half hour.

That's how the open world named bosses work tho. 1 every 30 minutes.

It's also a random one out of the lot, so you can go check the boss and if they are one you've done you log out/in and respawn them to try to roll the one you need.

A couple of runs should get you a copy.

Full black gear dye is from the NYC Hunters Cache, you can look up a guide online, it can take a while.

Pure White weapon dye is from the DC Hunters Cache.

A group will make it a lot easier, but you can combo that with lowering the difficulty, as they scale with whatever your world is set to.

"soon" is the operative word here which seems assumed. The snow teaser is basically just announcement for players that they are working on adding some things. It might not even be a DLC per se. It might just be a mode they might add over existing content with snow, or it might be a DLC but it would be far more realistic to expect it won't be out for a while.

The teaser they posted might not even be the real screenshot from in-engine. Usually studios/publishers tease what they are working on with artist renditions screenshots to get people excited (from the look of that screenshot it appears so). What stage they are on with this content and timing is everyone's guess but it is highly likely we won't see it anytime soon.

Snow is cool and all... but can i please just have a way to farm for the lexington.... please... i don't even care if it's not "god rolled". i'll farm that myself. Is there something preventing them to add it in the general loot pool? (genuine question). As someone who has been a very long time player, since release essentially, not to mention all the hours i put into div 1 on console. In other words, as someone who has played well before the cut off for the rewarded special skins, and just happened to be on a break for the one, short, time frame they released it as a grant, just barely missing the cut off. It's a huge bummer that i just miss out on the nostalgia of that weapon, not to mention the power it brings to so many builds in division 2. I know they've been teasing another release of the weapon. But it doesn't have to be some special event, just give players in my position the chance to farm for it.

Yes, there are, thank you. it's almost like i've been using those weapons for the last 6 years. Again, it's not JUST because it's a good weapon, while that is part of it, it's also the nostalgia the weapon brings through aesthetics, flavor text, and overall feel/gameplay. There was a reason they re-released it and rewarded players who have been long time enjoyers of the franchise with special skins for the weapon. Not to mention it's the only weapon in the game of that arch-type.

The game looks way better with HDR turned on IMO. Try turning HDR back on in Windows or something. I forget how I fixed it. I think the reason it's so muted is the game is trying to let your monitor boost the colors with HDR.

Just a question I used to play this on xbox years ago but recently got it on PC when I played gear score used to be a thing and now it seems to have been removed and level 40 is the cap aside from SHD levels does that mean I don't have to worry about upgrading guns to be stronger in the same fashion you would with gear score? also I recently got the chatterbox exotic components and can craft it but is it worth crafting it when my workbench is upgraded to Level 40 - High End or should I upgrade the bench first (if it can be upgraded any further? unsure if it can) then craft the exotic?

Ok, so you've got skill haste on every piece and mod, that should be more than enough.

There isn't really a hard minimum for something like that, it's just a case of 'more is nice' and no other priority stats you'd run instead.

• Using an EMP grenade then shooting, tricky to do with them moving though have gotten a couple

Yes. I enjoyed them. They actually improved my gameplay. I didn't check the loot, I just grabbed it and kept going. I didn't stay in cover waiting for the last few people to pop up, I pushed to the flank and took them out.

Those boost your appropriate tiers for the Seasonal Modifiers. Red triangle for firearms, blue circle for stamina, yellow diamond for electronics.

They boost the tiers when you down the enemy.

So I seen some people saying that you had to get the catalyst to drop from the mission first in order for it to drop open world 100% not true, this was my first drop of the mask open world boss. Best place to farm is Bridge Park Pier mission start. Just fast travel there immediately turn around and they'll be right there they spawn every 30 minutes.

yeah exactly, we've been disputing that from the beginning but people just want to fearmonger

it's easy to explain why though, the drop chance from open world boss is just 3% every 30mins whereas running the mission is 10% every 15mins, vastly bigger chance

@narrow kraken Lvl 40 is the final level that you get, once you reach it, you can talk to the Quartermaster at the White House and get a special thing called a "SHD Watch", that is a separate levelling system, which is also infinite.

I think it might be broken if you boost to 40 though, some people have reported gaining shd levels but being unable to actually access the watch to buy their stat increases.
