You don't especially bring Striker's to the DZ as you'll need to attack players/rogues that are looking to make your life miserable.
If you want a good PvP/DZ build, check the 📌 Spreadsheet in #td2-build-advice Should be by the name "PvP Starters Guide".

PvE builds do not work the same as in PvP.
That's why people dedicated time to search for optimal builds for this mode

I think 2.0 will be more difficult but not different i think. Regarding tier 1 and so on where you have to complete certain goals before enter tier 2.... Enemies will be stronger due to modifiers, manhunt will have riddles and climax mission is only for those who complete certain quests in game. just make sure you pick the right TL, play on Challenging, and enjoy!

You are able to donate copies of the gun/certain resources if you want to rank up Proficiency quickly.
It's Countdown's main purpose once you've farmed out your builds.

Yep, hence the suggestion about Resources.
A few Countdown runs and you'll have some to play around with, although credits to purchase junk mods and decon them for Printer Filament would probably be more efficient overall. Your call though.

Don't underestimate just how quickly it ranks up from having it in an "I don't need this gun" slot though, by the time you finish your weeklies, you'll save a lot of donated resources.

So my friend has an issue since Year 6 Season 1 patch where his mouse stops responding for ~1-2 seconds, everything else works and it only happens in this game.

The DEVs probably wanted to make a shift in how gameplay is. Rifles from what I’ve seen aren’t really the most used to date. It’s all ARs and shotguns these days for most PVE players. It’ll probably bring more to the table.

And those work due heavy damage per shot and low rof, so their damage and overall feel felt nice

While most of category had "low damage, high magazine" type which actually makes it awkward to shoot fast and for long periods of time in semi auto

Breakingpoint gear set was an attempt at fixing that but only amplified people issues of how bad rifle handling for that entire spammy category is

So they would either need to cut most of the rifle category magazine size amd rof stats to triple the damage to make them more like M1A to keep the semi auto aspect intact. But devs decided to revert that and make them full auto instead

They were weapons with high DPS on paper

Just not achiavable because of shooting them that fast for long preiods of time meant either broken mouses or broken fingers

1886 is popular because it has high base damage. It's just for HSD build and it really sucks everywhere else.

M1A is just the long standing meta. It's been incredibly strong historically, and the classic really has a perfect RPM to spam comfortably, while the CQB is Best in class burst damage.

Sorry for the wall, but i would like to share this.

Are the special assignments collectibles supposed to be this painful and annoying to acquire? I wanted to get all the collectibles from these missions, because why not? But the devs decided to leave one or two audio logs and the chest with the backpack trophy behind some infuriating puzzles.
This game looks great and i love all the details you have in the map and inside buildings and such, but when you have to turn on tiny generators that blend with the environment and can only be interacted if you get very close to them, that just makes this a chore. Anyone else had the same issue? I mean, i may be dumb and not looking in the righ places, and if it's a "you" problem, then i'm okay with it.

The plot thickens.. that adds another layer to it. As far as I'm aware the apparel events only gave out one piece of clothing or outfit for completion rather than a weapon skin or dye.

(Someone on the thread suggested it could be in the apparel caches you unlock with the keys, the lootpool doesn't have it listed) I can only assume it could be the legacy apparel cache which I can't check or a main or side mission completion reward(?). If most of us have it then that's the most likely scenario.
