Heroic is really only good for premade groups.

Yeah but at least Apex legend has the system that when you get disconnected, you still can go back to your squad. It's weird that the div2 also has this mechanic, but it doesn't apply to countdown or descent and that sucks.

If you die during the extract phase of Countdown, that's it. Run's over for you. If you die in Descent all those Loops you went through go to waste.

Descent is a roguelike so I can kind of understand it. But it's also just a roguelite. It's not a complete roguelike experience in my opinion. You should have options to like... sacrifice weapons, skills, or talents, to revive.

Also the RNG is absurd, so if you're having a good run, it especially sucks when you get unpredictablly buttf-d.

If all I need are Exotics. I can't even finish a match because too many people crashed, or I crashed, or because of the dumb permadeath mechanic, then yeah. It's just a waste of 15 minutes for no gain.

Anything I do gain aside from Exotic drops and Countdown Req is negligible.

So it's a game mode that actually punishes vets more than newbies.

That kind of goes against the genre of shooter looters. Which is to be fast and efficient. Slowing everyone else down because you crashed is impractical, and while some might appreciate it, others will hate it.

It would be much better if enemies got nerfed with each player that goes missing, or if requisition gets put on a multiplier for each person missing.

Not really. Looter shooters have always been focused around getting loot. Good loot. And repeating content, but getting better and better at that content.

It's an intrinsic dopamine hit every time. Risk vs Reward is more for like... surivival and strategy games. Like XCOM.

XCOM is a perfect example of a game that has really good use of a risk vs reward philosophy.

Division 2's gameplay loop is a perfect example of looter shooters which is about getting loot, using that loot to get even better loot, and making runs fast and efficient.

It's also part of the reason people hate the cover mechanics, and few like using them.

Because it also slows down that gameplay loop.

In challenging it isn't really noticeable. But in Heroic it is. And it can be very annoying. And in Legendary, cover is a necessity.

But the issue is that cover-based gameplay is an antithesis to looter shooters.

So yeah. But to Massive's credit, they're definitely the ones who have done it best so far, in my opinion.

That being said, if it was more like Breakpoint which has much more fluent cover mechanics, or Destiny, it'd be a lot better.

I kind of hope Division 3 just does away with cover-based gameplay. At least to an extent.

If it doesn't get axed anyway.

Depends on the build. Pistols in general aren't great with the exception of Regulus.

Primary weapons easily overshadow them.

TDI Kard is a good sidearm for the extra skill tier. Gives you an extra revive hive which you can use for teammates. It's a DZ exclusive though.

And Regulus is good fun but it's an Iron Horse Raid exclusive and time gated.

If you just want something that'll give you more damage for your buck, then revolvers or the D50 will work fine.

When you save a loadout, it saves a snapshot of your build including mods. Mark all as favorite because if you accidentally delete something it will be "missing" from your loadout

Same mods can be saved in multiple loadouts saving some space. When you activate a loadout itll pull the mods from wherever they are to the active loadout.

If you recalibrate weapon damage, you can only recalibrate that attribute

So if you went from weapon damage and changed it to armor, that slot on your gear is the only slot you're now able to change. I recommend not rolling core attributes unless changing the core attributes to something different. Reason being is I've found sub attributes (crit chance, for example) is expensive to optimize to full. Core attributes are fairly cheap to optimize to full

If you're solo, you have to progress there first. If you have a friend or a random you queue with that has a floor 90 checkpoint, your personal checkpoint will sync with theirs, which would be floor 90 if they are at floor 90. I use the floor 90 farm for helping community members get the bighorn. Kill the first wave of ads, boss runs out, focus the boss, kill the boss, next wave, kill the boss, next wave, kill the boss, grab loot, back to lobby. Wash rinse repeat

Do not kill all ads at the end. Save at least 1 or else you will clear the floor

It sticks to center mass at closer ranges but never the head

Ye just let the recoil carry it up for you, adjust ever so slightly, and move around. Rotational should keep you glued to the target. I mostly use that one dz Regen bighorn build anyways and get in people's faces

Then again, I play both MnK and Controller and find controller way easier with BH. Everything else, I prefer MnK

nope, TB doesn't. and the whole purpose for clearing the invasion is to stop all the black tusk activities in the invaded zones, which in turn cause the other factions to attack the green CPs more often. it sorta matters when you control the wole map.
